Peyton's Pineapple Chunk

Thanks skunny. She's a beast, but I'm not sure if I can open her anymore without snapping something. There's a surprisingly large amount of space between each cola right now. But I'll see what I can do, cause I want her to have no restrictions other than my light/nutes
 
Well I walked into my room today and my PC's are all over the dam place arms must be to dam heavy to hold there own weight now looking like I'm at the last swelling before harvest so maybe this weekend I'll get to chopping they have about 40% white hairs left and they are going fast. Looking very sweet buds have some nice weight to them I'm hopeful for 6 zips but I will be happy with whatever I get out of them my lower buds didn't swell like I was hoping but everything I back build fattened up real nice so that is a must for every grow. :cheesygrinsmiley:

PM you should be OK now I wouldn't defol anymore on that girl what's real nice about your flux is you can put lighting around the outside too and rotate your plant for the rest of your grow and get a deeper side penetration. Should work out pretty good for you with everything be nice and even. At least worth a try :cheesygrinsmiley:
 
Morning Peyton:).....kudos to Mr Skunny.....good idea......if you can open her up then i think he is right.....get that light penetration down deep....especially when them buds start swelling and blocking light themselves:)

So on another note...a sad one......did you hear about our quarterback....Cam Newton.......was in a nasty wreck yesterday and fractured his back in two spots:(.....i hope he has a speedy recovery.....his truck was beat the hell up....think it flipped once or twice.....and happend at the statdium as well:(......just thought id share...i know your not a fan, but you know how we love our Quarterbacks:)
 
I posted about the accident in the pick em thread yesterday. It's a shame, cause it'll be at least two seasons before he comes back, if he comes back from this.

I'll have to see about doing some backbuilding this week on her
 
cant believe i missed your update last night -Got busy in the garage - 30 min tasked turned into a 5 hour ventilation overhaul - love how those projects work out hahaha

PC looks good - Did that PC start from a flowering clone? Those leaves are interesting - man thats gonna yield good!
 
Hey PM just running through and finally learned about keeping the clones in stasis. I remember first hearing that wording way back in begining of the solo talk and didnt follow through :thankyou:
I didnt read through yet on your PC just seeing last pages.Those leaves look familar to revegging flowered clones or plants. That is my thought and I will try tonight to look into that more tonight on why it would happen.All I could think is light leaks. I also dont know your light dark hours but maybe even doing that 11/13 or 10/14 to help quicken harvest time on more reg looking plants could help here.OH man too much writing and I dont consider myself very good at growing either ,just wanted to share my thoughts:cheertwo:

She was grown from seed, which is why it confuses me that the leaves aren't serrated. I'm hoping she'll get half a pound, but will be happy with whatever she gives

I know the light leaks aren't a problem. Nothing in flower room has hermied or seeded, so should be good there. She's weird as hell, but I've learned to just accept her lol. I'd shorten my lights on time but I want to give the auto in there 12 hours.
 
I've decided to stop worrying about PC leaves. She gets fed exactly the same as every other plant. the SB, HGK, and fnv don't do that so I'll assume it's my pheno, since every PC plant of mine does that regardless of environment
 
Thanks Mono. It is festive in there, and all the green and white in the room feels very Christmasy. I am very glad to hear it is a pheno specific leaf thing. I knew the temp and humidity were fine, and was pretty confident that my nutes didn't have high nitrogen. Nothing more reassuring than confirmation from others. I love this community
 
Hey PM, from the looks of it I'd say your PC has nitro toxicity. The PC I grew was the most sensitive plant to nutrients I have ever seen. I think if youd be willing to try growing one out with half the amount of nitro you would be very surprised. I watch for my leaf tips to start eagle clawing, if they do eagle claw I know to back off the nutes. Hope you dont take my criticism as negativity, your plants are beautiful and you should be a proud papa. I've really enjoyed your journal, and the shit talking over in the solo cup challenge.
 
These are low feedings. She gets 5ml of grow, 5ml micro, 10ml bloom and 5ml cal/mag per gallon. She's had just about the same formula most of her life. Once buds start forming all my PC do that. I have one in flower that isn't budding yet and it looks normal, but in about 2 weeks it'll start spitting out those weird leaves. For the first couple weeks the clones of it had Lucas formula with no nitro and it grew the same.
 
Okee dokee! Just throwing my 2 cents in. I found PC too be the most difficult to keep proper start to finish. She appears to be trying to veg while she's flowering, like a reveg plant but backwards. I guess all that matters is the final product rite? Shes a goofy girl that barney created n seems to have a genetic issue if nitro toxicity is not the issue. Those single fingers with smooth edge just got me scratching my head.
 
It threw me off for quite some time too. All her leaves pop out looking like the single flat blade, and when a new set comes in, the old ones curl up. It's a weird plant that's for sure. I've got some stasis clones, so I'll play around with the feeding on her next time and see what happens.
 
When I had PC I was growing in soil at the time. I didn't feed her anything until 3 or 4 weeks into bloom, then I only give her a bit of molasses and some bloom. She grew perfectly healthy. She stacked up her buds pretty well but never filled out, in the end I'd have a bunch of rock hard buds none of them big but not any small stuff either. Just be glad you didn't get the pheno that takes 120 days to flower!
