Peyton's Holy Grail Kush - Flux - Hempy - Mars II 400

I didn't have enough time mate, they all needed feeding & the lights clicked off just as I finished. I'll take one tomorrow night & post it. Sod it, I'll go & take one with my flash for ya :)
I was happy to see no further signs of pollen sacks, there was just one tiny one that I must have missed yesterday :)

I'm hoping so mate
Here we go, as you can see there's still plenty there. It's tight up to Toxic so you need to guess where the left side finishes

This is it yesterday

It's the 1st time I've seen the coco for ages. I've made a major booboo though, hidden under the canopy was a shit load of secondary growth that's been neglected. I should have been nipping it but forgot all about it :/ I've made a hard job even harder.
Next time I'm gonna do one with way less arms that I can keep on top of & see what I'm doing. Hopefully my new light will enable me to get a good harvest off it with it's super dooper power :)

I think if you can get 1-1.5gpw from the Mars you're doing ok. I know CO Finest got just over 1gpw with the 3w reflector.
How high above the canopy do you have yours? I think mine's around 20-22"

CO does it in a scrog with one plant so it should be achievable with trained or fluxed plants with lots of compact tops.

Once I get my new light I'm hoping to get way more than that. It draws 280w & will give me better coverage than the two Mars I'm using. I want to see over a pound to justify the cost. If I don't get that I'll send it back for a refund :)

That'll be cool to watch. I'm aiming for a pound with my PC, but i'll take half a pound with no complaints. In hoping to hit half a pound with what is in flower now. I figure 4 ounces with HGK Flux, 3 with SB mainline and 1 with HGK clone. Wishful thinking lol

I dunno about wishful thinking, it sounds realistic to me. You just need to keep your light low to get the PAR & penetration.
I originally thought with the 2 Mars I could average 3oz per plant, the poor pheno tangy would be less but it would be made up with fluxy so it's similar to your expectations.

My first grow I kept the mars II about 12 inches away from canopy and had no problems. Might do 16 inches, just don't want to lose coverage with 3 plants in there. But I do like the better penetration

The coverage is a bummer with the Mars, I noticed the reflector gives a much more but like you say, the penetration is pretty good. I wanted mine at 18" for maximum penetration but the footprint shrinks too much with Toxic & fluxy being so big.

Yeah I'm afraid only part of the Flux will get light that way, but i'll check it tonight for sure. My HGK clone can be turned cause it leans heavy to one side of bucket from the way it rooted. After defol it might be easier. So excited to clip some leaves!

I want to share something with you.
The Spimpmeister came up with the name "Fluxing" when LA had a plant get weird. It mainlined itself & LA being a badass, turned it around & vegg'd the crap out of it & boom... What the newer peeps are calling Fluxing.

But, know this is NOT LST. This is hard hard stress training that frankly lead to disasters & VERY slow vegging.
When you stall out the plant creating this, you're gonna pay. Sometimes in just time, but that is $ that should go to BUDDING.

If you want a solid method using a lot less veg time & crop risk... look at LA's Tut Style.
That's what he used when he grew the amazing plants with.

I'm seeing a trend in "fluxing" in that ppl are stalling out grows or vegging for 3 or more months.
If you were using LAs Tut style which is LST, you would be way into your next grow.
If you want a perpetual grow someday, you need to get away from hardcore stressed out methods.
LA just wanted to show what could be done even with a jacked up plant. It's not what you want to do all grows with of want a LOT of grows, strains, ect.
Again, look at his Plant of the Year. That wasn't hard stressing. It was LST.

Again, just a thought.
