Yeah, i couldn't imagine trying to water it with more branches in there. I still like the way they look when they're 20 headed monsters, but I didn't have the patience to wait that long. I might Flux a plant throughout winter and make it a monster, even though I said I'd never do it again lol. So your friends find a comfortable home here? Glad you were able to bring them over from the dark side!

Yea, watering is a major pain, I'm around the 30 head mark which in hindsight was an error for my 1st flux. I'm great at making stupid choices :) You've gotta do another flux man, get a monster through winter & I'll have a front row seat :)
My friends will love it here I'm sure of that :thumb:

Yeah, one of my C99 will be a 20 headed monster with a 5 or 6 month veg. It would be nice to shoot for a pound. I like the one trichomes has going with a stem as thick as a baseball! After my two current journals are finished all my work will be going in the "Peyton & Pals Perpetual Playground" thread. I'll be keeping an eye out for when your friends start some journals too. I know for next plants I definitely have to make a watering ring, cause I can't keep watering like a mad man.

20 heads sounds good man, especially with 5-6 month veg, I'll look forward to that one :) Trichomes stump is amazing, that should feed some enormous buds. I'm a glutten for punishment & spend ages watering my plants, I might have to consider a ring or some other feeding method when I make use of the full space in my tent. Just doing 4 plants at the moment is fine but if I get 8/10 or 12 in there it may be too much to handle. The only downside is having one mix in a reservoir, is it might not suit all the strains I'll be growing if they have different needs. StonerWizard made a top ring feeder system himself, when he's over here it might be worth asking him how he did it, he could share it in your new journal :)

Cool. I'll be looking for that. I was thinking of just using a pvc tee and making a ring from garden hose with holes in it and a long hose out with a funnel to water. We'll see how it goes

Both plants seemed to bush up overnight pretty good. HGK is still stretching and filling out nicely. SB showed me a tiny calyx tonight, so hopefully it spits out some hairs. It's still stretching too. Hopefully the stretch is about over so they can make some flowers. Still confusing to me that SB showed first when HGK had a month longer veg

There's nothing better than the flower stage, I'm dying to flip mine but luckily I'm blessed with patience. What scope are you using? I've always used a jewellers loupe myself. I did buy a cheap scope years ago but it was a pain to focus & the eye hole was tiny

I got one that's hard to focus and has a tiny eye hole. It was only 3 bucks online, so I want expecting miracles. It's still a step up cause I was using binoculars backwards for my first grow. I love the flowering stage, but sometimes training is a lot of fun, but the smells during flowering can't be beat!

You can pick up a jewellers loupe for pennies mate, it may be worth getting one as back up. I like the ingenuity of binoculars :) :bravo:
Yea it's the smell & the colours I love the most & seeing floppy branches when the buds get heavy. I do enjoy training too, I look at it as plant sculpture & I get my artistic head on :) I've really enjoyed my 1st flux, even though I know I can do better. If my clone takes off, she's going to be my next flux :)

I'll look into a loupe real soon. I know my Flux could be a lot better too, I just need to be patient. If I don't heat my garage this winter I'll be forced to grow in closet and have to be patient, and that'll go a long way. Can't wait to see your garden at flower time.

I've got a couple & find the 20x better than the 30x. Due to the extreme convex lens on the 30x only the centre focuses so I use my 20x. Some 30x's may be better than mine as it was only cheap.
I think patience & the longest veg possible is the way to get the most from a flux, also not going OTT with the amount of arms too.
I hope my garden looks amazing when flower time comes, I'll be adding my other light so it'll be 2 plants per light. This should ensure I get some decent bud. I just hope the Tangerine Dreams don't disappoint

That place is gonna be a jungle at flower time. I agree on the Flux arms, I plan on doing between 12 and 20 heads. I do like the way mine looks like now with a crown, but I have no inside filler arms, so it's almost wasted space. I think with 2 plants per light, you'll get amazing buds, and those tangies will really pull their weight in the end. Once my PC gets into flower room, I'll probably start my long veg C99. Can't wait!

I agree mate 12-20 would be ideal. I didn't cut off the under & overs so I've got 30+ & some are really thin like 1/8" so they'll just get fluffy popcorn. Yours looks fantastic & will be a lovely ring of bud :) seeing as the middle is empty, you could put a garden gnome in there :)
I hope the Tangies take off when I flip & there's a good chance they will. I'll take a clone off the best pheno so I can run it again. What's the C99? I've not heard of that one

I believe it also goes by Cinderella 99, but it's one of those strains that I always read about over the years and was supposed to be a classic. It's an original brothers Grimm pineapple/grapefruit crossed with maroc and Neville's haze. Matures from seed in 4 weeks and flowers 7-8 weeks. Can't wait to watch her grow
