Peyton & Pals Perpetual Playground

i'm growin out 3 AK ryders freebie got 2 different pheno one sorta bushy compared to the other which is a stix with itty bitty buds
I must admit thou the AKR have a real strong hashy smell & are all ready sticky with frost
but even the sorta bushy are lacking ,ther're a stick factory compared to the other auto i'm runnin. I'm real close to chop on AKR as I have a plant count I have to keep , if the seed don't fit then you must chop , i'm not growin for looks
the stix plant is odd lookin ; lotta single & 3 lobes leafs , long nodes

I have a buddy that went 12/12 7 days from seed. They got 7 days to grow after they popped thru the soil. His plants, multiple different strains every time. averaged at 3' tall and he was pulling roughly 3-4 oz off of each. He had them under 3 1000w HPS in Raptor Hoods. Don't know the nutes he was using but he used Pro-Mix HP and Plant Warrior Pots. All I remember about his line of nutrients was, I have ever heard of it and it was a 3 part mix. I account his success to the amount of lighting he had....

sun is just now hitting the g/h , so it's early here L O L

weird last nite I'm out checkin the mite issues doing some leaf inspections with the naked eye , after awhile you get to where you can see tthe buggers & their eggs , any way not seeing many eggs or adults but did spot a little black insect 2x bigger than a mite nearly every plant had a few on a leaf
I was shocked to see them run across the leaf with great speed it was no is that moving like a mite nah this thing could move across a full leaf in second .
Thinkin' it a predatory something already present in the g/h , It seem it most active when the humity is stable & sorta high .
this is why i'm hesitant to use any kind of pesticide or even safer soap in my g/h
as in past anytime I did a sspray or bugb0mb & knocked down a pest , it just started even worse problems was I was wiping out the good bugs as well

Honestly I have tried a great many "MITE" killers lol and I have to say that the three I like the most and have the best knockdown rates with are:

Safers Trounce, Safers End All and Mite-Rid.

But those are natural. Now I have also used WipeOut

Wipeout is a fantastic product and works, IMHO, the first spraying, as long as you have enough for each plant. Remember that a RTU 32oz bottle is good for, on average, 4 4' tall plants. This goes for any RTU spray BTW.

For the record I have used well water straight from my garden hose with just as much success as any available mite spray...

Yeah , water actually kills them , cold water spraying works well on days the temps are up but is disaster if done when it rainy & cool outside . high humidity with corresponding higher heat & higher air movement kills the adults
safer soap disloges the eggs & weaken the adults & then I spary off w/cold water hours later
anyway my prdatory mites get here today soo I'm keeping the g/h at a even balance & being smart on control & insect life cycle measures
any is better than the nuke the place till everything is dead
I once years ago had pack of little black hunter/killer spider (no web) blk with red butt size of a dime in the g/h
they can run & jump a foot when needed , I had no pests when they were in there ,

I only kill blk widows & brown reclusive spiders the rest I leave alone except to wipe away webs the rafters of the g/h are well invested in spiders & daddy longlegs .
I had tree frogs in there once no pests but hard to sleep with the bleetin' & croakin'

they came from the creek across from the church but that was when we had rain L O L

Went and watered the girls tonight, since they didn't get it last night. The only plants that showed signs of dryness were the 2 pc clones. I went ahead and rearranged my plants in flower room and managed to squeeze 3 more clones in there. I now have the original big three, 3 more HGK clones, 2 pc clones, and the SB clone is in there now too. HGK clone ends up looking better each day. Seems like it really will pass up its mother in a couple weeks. Flux is still slowly doing its thing, which doesn't seem to be much. I'll be surprised to get 2 ounces from her. Every time I pull a leaf on any other plant, they grow back fast and bushier, but with HGK Flux, none of her leaves ever grew back after defol. SB is getting a little thicker and just looks like hairy sticks. She'll end up being pretty nice. I just hate that HGK Flux went from top rung to bottom. But I am excited to get a glimpse of what my big pc will look and smell like someday. Temps have been 70 to 84 degrees, and humidity between 40 and 50 percent. Alrighty, I'm done ranting for now

This is just so I can try to see a weekly difference

It's either the toolbox in the corner, or if you're taking about the plant, its just perlite. 100 percent perlite hempy for me. If you're taking about the middle picture, that's the reflection of camera flash hitting the white paint inside of my old veg tote.

I'm still p/o'd over the amazon mites , looks like he'll re-ship but don't know if I get them today or tomorrow .
the guy has a advantage that amazon will not refund for live products , but he will get a really bad amazon review if he doesn't come thru .
but I ordered another set of mites from a AZ company she says the come alive or she replaces them till I'm happy
i'm gonna get one mite for my conditions for the g/h & then get another ordered to hatch next week , this way I get layered approach with 2 different non competitive pred mites .
and the dark leaf runners I seen yesterday on some leafs are pred mites as well I found YT vid that showed exactly what I seen
I'm gonna regularly get some lace wings & lady bugs

plus treat all floor openings with nematodes as well the coco to control the fungus fly

the greenhouse floor areas that have soil in strips , the floor is concrete slabs 6' x6' but has 2" areas between where wood boards once were , it's an old patio I built the G/H over

I'm actually seeing a difference with the new nutrients. The aroma is more pungent and the buds are definitely more dense then before. Put a dryer chunk in my vaporizer. Pretty potent, might be regretting retiring the pk. Good thing I kept 1 clone.

Pretty sure I'm sold on green planet nutrients. I'll take some pics Friday before I start freezer cure. I'm guessing 150g of prime and another 50g of popcorn. So again its a low yielding strain. Even if all 16 survived it would have been around 400g. Still way under what I can get with a different strain.
The white Russian, BC big bud or AK one of them should put me better in the range of 600g + per crop.

You sound as impressed with the development of your flux as I do with mine. To make it more fun, lets have a competition on who gets the lowest harvest weight :)

Game on! Yours still has a lot of arms and a lot of time, I think mine should be done in about 3 weeks. So unless mine explodes in next couple weeks, I'd be lucky to get an ounce off her.

Damn stumped, that's still gonna be a nice harvest. I can't wait to see what you can do with that high yield stuff. You've grown pk for a long time, so no regrets moving on from it. Like you said, it's a 6 and you can get the WR to an 8 easily.

I wonder why yours has stopped packing on weight. Maybe some strains are more suited to being fluxed. Mine seems to have stalled, it's stopped drinking & the good looking fem buds are decreasing daily due to me plucking nanners. I've been tempted to chop it on many an occasion mate, he/she is lucky to be alive.

Yeah I put up those pics last night and the difference between the two most recent pics isn't much. And like I noticed before, this is the only plant that once defoliated never grew back a single leaf, which is probably why it won't yield shit. But I am really excited to see what the clone of it does. She looks like she'll get heavy quick. Already stacking buds
