Peyton & Pals Perpetual Playground

I can't wait for weather to cool off a little here. Next grow I might switch them to lights on during day. It drives me nuts doing 8 pm to 8 am. I wanna mess with them but don't get up early enough and hate waiting till night. Checked on pc since it's still on 16/8, and she is looking good. A couple extra months of veg will do her good. How much space does the average auto take? I'm wondering if my 400 watt light can cover two autos and a scrog screen.

Here's what I use for my seedlings and clones Peyton, sorry was gonna post the yesterday but couldn't find my camera

 I forgot I'm a newbie and just wrote what I would do. I failed to preface my writing with the fact I am still a "newbie". I'm learning as I go along and I think I should not give advice yet. None not from my actual experience, that is.
I'll proofread my ideas from now on before putting it down to electrons. It's the engineer in me :sorry:

Advice is always welcome jimbo. Nothing is wrong or right. I wasn't saying the advice wrong, was just telling him to ease into it, because I'd hate to be the one he blames for burning his plants lol not saying he would blame me lol I just don't like making people mad. Or upset with me. Espically when I've read some strains can't handle over 500-600ppm. No idea what his strain can handle or what strains exactly are that sensitive. I do know they exist though lol

Helps people learn and raise questions . when someone challenges someone's opinion from a different point of view. I hate the term debating, just sound like a fancy word for arguing lol. I prefer the term discussing.

Speak what's on your mind! We don't learn unless shown the difference.

I'm still a noob too BTW. Not even been growing for 2 years yet. I've been into fishkeeping for 20 years and I still learn something every now and again.

Stumped fish keeping ? And your not trying an Aquaponics set up no nutes needed. That's why I like this thread no bickering, no my way is better we just toss our thoughts out there and learn from each other. No question is ever a dumb question I don't get mad live and learn or else you never know.

I've tried dwc. Couldn't keep water temps under 70f. Root slime ect. I'm not willing to run ac. Space and cost.

I kept mothers in dwc for awhile. But didn't see the point of fast growth when I didn't need that fast lol.

After many trials and errors I landed with soil. Was getting expensive and a waste of time for dwc for me, crops kept dying or yield was low because of rootrot.
Going to try a flood and drain table someday. 3x3 table filled with hydroton. Plants don't sit in the water so temperature is much more forgiving.

Ya I was getting the slime for a while too till I figured out I need to supplement with peroxide and all got much better. I was just wondering if you ever tried using fish ? I don't eat fish so and thought it would be a bigger mess but I've seen some grow that look amazing with what they can do going that route

Well, two of my bagseed that I put in paper towel have popped. So I taped two 44 oz cups together at the mouth and filed with perlite, they'll go straight into flower room just to see how they do at 12/12 from seed. Plus, it adds a lot of variety to the 2 strains in there. I hope more pop, cause I threw the last 15 bagseeds I had in there, and would love to have a large selection of herb. And that clone setup does look real nice kola, probably gonna steal that idea when I get ready for cloning

I was dumping peroxide in a 30 gallon rez daily trying to fix the slime. Even when I thought I had it licked, yields were disgraceful. 20g a plant. So obviously I didn't fix everything. Even bought a 50$ bottle of piranha.

I fertilize my aquariums so its hard to use the water as a base. About 250ppm average on some of the planted aquariums in my house. So it would just throw everything out of whack on me. If I didn't fertilize it would be great as a base when using a 3 part grow formula and skip the grow part of the formula.
I do use water from a fry(baby fish) tank in our bedroom. Established 80 gallon tank, unfertalized. I only use it for unroofed and newly rooted clones in rockwool.

Ya I hydro clone with cheap rooting powder from wally and rapid rooters. I only use that cabinet for clones and seed started for a week till I get some good roots then move them to my converted fridge before they can get a chance to tangle cause I hate trying to untangle them. More plants more chance at success, they sell that cabinet on ebay for like 199.00 it gets really warm I only use one bulb in it keeps 85 f easy. So works good for clones they like to be warm and seedling take really well to it but I wouldn't try a stealth grow in it.
