Peyton & Pals Perpetual Playground

I don't think Pineapple Slick is Haze. Breeder says Genetic Origin : Diesel x Pineapple. Are either of them a Haze?
Flowering / Harvest time : 50 - Medium flowering time of around 9 weeks. 18% - 22% THC
They also say...

good morning peyton....screen and training looks awesome mate....

wildjim that pineapple slick sounds great mate and im glad to hear you may be starting up a journal...just remember that if its too much for you then you can stop it at any time and like peyton said we all got your back....

Enjoy the visit PM.

Welshy it is wonderful having so many good friends here on 420 like you guys in the playground. I feel more at ease here than anyplace I have been in 30 years. I want to try to do a journal. Getting back from our trip on the 30th so I'll be starting the first week of April. Can't wait. I'm going to do a Sativa. Exciting. I'll be needing Your's and Skunny's help, pro Sativa growers as I see you. I've had a lot of luck growing so far. Sativas are a bit more difficult, I have heard. Not to mention they are photoperiod plants. So I'll be needing help in cloning too. I'm here for you guys too.

Ranger275, there's no such thing as hijacking this thread. It was made for exactly this type of thing. Feel free to post pics of your grows and anything else. We talk about everything and anything in here, and it's a great place for people to show their grows when they don't do journals. So welcome aboard, have some fun

Howdy wildjim,
I've admired your thoughtful input in some of the most interesting places. Clearly, I'm not alone.
While I'm not exactly a connoisseur, I definitely prefer sativas. Would you mind letting me know when you start your journal?

Sorry to shanghai your thread, PeytonManning.
Enjoy the weekend!

Such a nice thing to say brother. Thanks.

I don't know if I ever had a real sativa. I smoked Mexican years ago and have heard that most Mexican back in the late 60s and early 70s were sativa. I remember a large amount of laughter.

I would be glad to let you know if I start a journal brother. Dang ptsd and it's ugly paranoia rules my decision making. Unfortunately. But we'll see what 2 weeks in Florida does to my stresses.

Good to be here PM. I'm trying to get ready for the trip, mentally only. Wife's starting to pack. Got to make some traveling butter today. Probably start in a couple hours. First time using dry material. I think I'll be using about 2 ozs for 1 lb of butter. Still don't know about decarboxylating the dry stuff or just letting it decarb in the boiling butter/water mix. (I'll take any member's suggestions in a pm)

Happy Daze!

it depends what kinda boiling temps you can get
if when you use the butter to cook it hits the decarb temps then there shouldn't be much to worry about

I use the butter for my morning toast and coffee. i'm tacking again as I write to you. I take it to about 230F on my NuWave induction cooktop. I start at 180 and take it up as the water boils away, I do add water during boiling. I ate one of my cookies last night and was way too high. I was shaking like I was cold. Next time I'll eat 1/2. My butters I have made have been potent as can be. That cookie had about 1 tablespoon of butter because I made 3 out of about 2.5 tablespoons of butter and one was a lot smaller than the other 2. Man, I sure wish I had someone to smoke with.

I wrote what I did making my butter and somebody gave me a ration of sh!t saying I did it wrong and tried to make me look like what I'm not. Angry and hostile because I didn't understand what he was saying and asked what he meant. He got worse. Never did understand what he meant.

I still don't know if it is necessary to put the dry in the oven and decarb it to make butter. I've read a few older threads and nothing is said about decarbing. I just want the best I can make. The frozen fresh stuff worked great with just boiling for 3.5 hours and no decarb. I wish I knew. I'll let you know what I do and how it comes out.

Sorry Chronichemphog, I thought it was Peyton I was answering first.

If you boil it around 230, then you should be fine. Decarb happens at 220, so you're good to go. If it doesn't get decarbed, it will in the oven at temps above 220, but won't be decarbed for your morning toast

no one does it exactly the same way everyone finds what works for them and stick with it :thumb:
