I went ahead and gave the big pc her water with powder koolbloom today. Everything looks good, except for the foxtail and stretch on the pc plants of course. Fnv is covered in trichs and getting bigger, and the HGK keeps on making pretty flowers that'll turn into some nice smoke this spring, I'm guessing in March or April. So my 2015 grows will kick off in a few weeks, and probably start under CFL. Gotta make space in flower room of course, so expect delays

I read another article recently that claimed foxtailing was the bud abandoning the older bud growth and attempting to create a new bud.
Not saying it's accurate.... just saw it and thought I'd toss it into the discussion gumbo.

I was reading that some people like it and encourage their plants to do it. It looks ugly to me, but if the plant wants to keep producing, who am I to stop her. Once the rest of the colas amber, I'll pull and maybe it'll give me a little mix of daytime/nighttime smoke. A little extra weight won't hurt when I enter POTM in a couple months with her. I just want to smoke something I grew again damnit

Welcome the newest clones to the bunch, HGK twins. I'm hoping at least one will root, and her sole purpose will be to make seeds. I'm doing another one tomorrow and a stasis pc clone. Might seed one pc and HGK separate for seeds, and then put two together in box to make crosses from both plants. Sound good?

I've been using clear solo cups as covers. They sit right on top the perlite real nice and I have a hole in the bottom of the solo cups so I can water the leaves without removing anything. Works great for me.
We have a local tradition that works well for my cloning. Since you can take your drinks with you from the local bars, they have thick plastic "go cups" you can take with you. The clear plastic solo cups lock onto the tops of the "go cups" and form a wonderful terrarium in a cup.
Sometimes it pays to get drunk.
The solo cup top locks on so tightly that I pick it up and carry it using the top.

Oh... and for the official record, Pal's is a fine local drinkery I would highly recommend. Be sure to check out the vintage Playboys plastering the walls of the Men's room. They're old school.... bring some quarters for the pinball machine and jukebox.

I need to get me some of them cups. But I live where we can't take drinks to go, so I'd have to buy em. I'll get my other clones done in a little bit, then gotta find a warm place for them in the house. Fun on a bun

See.... you should come down for Mardi Gras. Every parade float throws tons of them... it's probably the most commonly caught item. I have very few pieces of glass in my cupboard... we use mostly plastic cups. It's a strange world in many ways down in the Bayou.

I was there for Mardi gras a few years before katrina. I liked walking up to a doorway and buying drinks to walk around with. And the drive up places there too.

Girls were looking fantastic tonight. HGK is exploding with flowers everywhere and is starting to get that nice fuel smell. Big pc is packing on the weight now, you can see a big difference in development since last night. Same goes for the pc 2 liter clone. And fnv is looking nice. Not gonna be a big producer by any means, but she looks and smells great, hairs are starting to turn orange, so hopefully she'll start speeding up

Just some info. I am using a Mars II 900 watt for this Fast and Vast Auto. For whatever reason this pheno is 135 days old. She smells exactly like the one she was planted with but harvested in 59 days. Heavyweight assured me that she is a Fast and Vast. In the strain information they say she can harvest up to 800 grams per sq meter.
She has been fed GH FloraNova with their Simple Drain to Waste schedule. With 5ml CaliMagic per gallon. Fed 1 gallon of GH FloraNova every day. She is in a 3 gallon Hempy.

Here are some pictures I took this evening... Sorry they are so bad. I don't see well and I have shakey hands.

There are trichomes on everything, even petioles

Hope you enjoy the pictures. It would never have gotten this large without my MarsHydro's Mars II. I didn't take enough photos to show how deep into the growth the flowers are. No matter what she gives, it will make me my medicine.
