Perpetual Purple Powered By ViparSpectra XS2000

Thanks Rexer! Happy Saturday everyone!!! I finally hooked up my exhaust fan, and I have a little fan circulating air in the tent.

I have the fan and filter outside of the tent and it is pushing through the filter. I personally love this approach when you need to save some vertical space. I'll probably bring in the mini humidifier to get the environment dialed in but otherwise we are off to a good start.

The next focus will be automating the system and having monitoring capabilities with the ability to shut things off or cycle on if needed.

I still need to give it a good cleaning but I like this tray for when I am gone if there is some over flow. I also think I can make some DIY risers here. Last but not least I added the humidifier.

One nice thing about the @ViparSpectra XS2000 is it has a really nice protective coating over the diodes for high humidity so I am not worried about running this humidifier.

I'll post a picture after I clean it up and put the plants back after their watering and first feeding

Thank you for mentioning us, XS2000 is made up of Samsung diodes and Mean Well Driver which could provide high energy efficiency, boost your yields by 50%.

Happy Thursday everyone! The plants are looking pretty good today. I will be giving them a watering/feeding and topping some of the bigger ones. I hope everyone is having a great week!

Happy Saturday everyone! I topped every plant last night and removed some leaves to expose the lower branches. Hopefully the delay on top and additional light will let the lower branches catch up.

Anyway, check out this Somango. It has two branches coming out of one spot and I went to top this plant and it already had two tops on its own.

I have cloned 5 of the 8 so far and the one pictured above has captured my interest. Somango 1. This is a clone taken from the top of the plant. Notice two growth tips, these occurred naturally. It grows multiple growth tips from where only 1 would normally grow.

I will probably cut the lower fan leaves off. It has already responded to the light post cut.

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I have cloned all 8 although, I think I will lose one or two, hopefully, not too many more. Here is what they look like topped/cloned.
I am keeping tabs on each plant but so far Somango 1 is the one standing out the most. If it is male ill be happy to use its pollen, if it is female, I hope I have a good male to pollinate it with.

Somango1 is top row second to the left

Happy Thursday! Nothing too crazy going on in the tent today. I let the plants go a bit dry and gave them a good soaking today. I'm keeping the clones nice and humid and hoping we get some roots.

Happy Monday! The clones were a failure this time around but I still have plenty of lower branches I can take in the future. I'm holding off on that for now and focusing on getting this automated by the end of month. They all are fairly happy and ready for water and feeding. I think I need to up the calmag a bit but otherwise good!

Got room for one more in here MG?
Hey shed! You are always welcome and there is always room for more. Perfect timing too! I have been a bit behind but I am starting to do a bit of training and trimming on these. So far, I can say the Viparspectra XS2000 is doing great for vegging the entire 2x4 space.

Here's a status pic of training, very early stages here. Every one has been topped. Will now focus on opening the middles and spread out and lower the mains.

Happy Friday! I hope everyone is having a great week. I have not done a lot of training (like any) since the last post but things are rolling along smoothly. The plants love the light and I'm running it at about 75% temp 75F and the humidity is 64% Have a great weekend!

It all looks Wunderbar from here to me! Grow on neighbor!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! The plants continue to love this light! I am super happy with the light so far as the plants love it and I have no complaints.

My only concern now is I have to keep all these in this 2x4 until I get back from my trip which is about middle of November. As you can see, things are already pretty cramped so we will see what happens. I may move them into a bigger tent for the trip and then move 3 back in the 2x4 to finish. Anywayway, here they are!

So I have been procrastinating on getting ready to go back to the states but its time to get ready as I leave on November 4th and I want to make sure the system works well before leaving.

Today I made great progress. I may have everything I need unless I don't think 5 gallons (basically 1 watering) will cover it.

I ordered a timer that can turn on for any period of time on a specific day.this will run the pump I am using from my hydro set up while its not running. Unfortunately the timer won't be here until the 28th.

I also remembered we have a camera we used to use for our dog when she was a pup so I will use that for now so we can still have visual updates. Finally, I picked up a connector that goes from 1/2" to 8 small hoses, one for each plant.

My only concern here is keeping the nutrients mixed and from them going bad. I may order some fish tank circulators but honestly I might just give the plants PH'd water while I'm gone to avoid that hassle and it may be as few as one or maybe two watering.
