So i saw the first page of this thread, and the last 6 or so, but didnt see much on how your SOG grow went. I may try SOG next season with either Big Bud or Great White Shark. I wanted to hear your opinion on this style of grow.

It works great but you almost have to grow from clones. Seed plants there's too many variables.

Yeah i cant imagine you could get 15 plants to grow the same rate from seed. I was planning on growing a mother in the closet of my shed as i finish what i have going on now. Then start clones in my hydro rig. I can only fit 14, but i just wanted a taste to see how this style works.

You can stagger the rounds of clones. I used to put something like 8 plants every couple of weeks into a 48-plant perpetual SOG. It was cool, because I could harvest 2-4 ounces every couple of weeks this way and it's not a lot of work trimming single-cola SOG plants.

Yea we have to have the ac on already over here during the day also lol. Hey I had a question for ya penny or any1 who has or has run Neil's light the dwarf star from over at perfect sun. Well I was wondering how far did u hang her from ur girls when they hit flower? I got mine right now at about 12 to 14 inches depending on the cola
. Also should I be having the light always far enough away so the plant has its leaves stretching up "praying"as they say lol. Or will that make them all lanky and really spaced out buds? I'm jus trying to figure out how I can make bigger buds when it's all done an cured lol. I got decent yields but I notice alot of the buds arent super big and i get way more smaller ones then big ones. I even lollipop train my plants. So jus wondering if maybe it was cause of my lights lol so figured I'd ask u how far u hung urs during flower. Altho I have to say this round with my GSC I dont think little buds will be an issue lol. Here she is jus a few days into flower. She should be starting her stretch now actually. - Thread starter

Ok thanx penny man I wasnt sure if that was 2 far away or not lol. Or atleast for what I'm trying to get this round the big/long colas and tight dense buds. So not sure if that means light should be closer to plants or farther away to cover more lol. But yea brother thanx for any and all help much appreciated brother.

I would let the plants tell you if its to close just keep a close eye if you see any leaf curling or spots on the leaves or something doesn't look happy move it up a bit!Yea we have to have the ac on already over here during the day also lol.
