Welcome, Dyold. I follow your journal. That's an ambitious project you have going - and going quite well!
I live in a high-desert environment at an altitude of 5200 feet. Right now the highs are typically in the low 60's and lows in the high 30's. The light outside is really strong, but the greenhouse only gets about nine hours a day of good light and a couple of hours of weak light. That will drop to around 8 hours of strong light by harvest time in mid-December. The one plant that I bring in and put in the cabinet overnight gets around 3 more hours of strong light than the plants outdoors, and it stays a little warmer at night than the ones that sleep outdoors. I'm confident that I can keep the outside ones warm enough at night that they won't ever get too stressed, but still... Having one that comes in at night is insurance that the whole grow doesn't die if a cold air mass drops the overnight temps below zero - something that is possible.
Right now this is mostly a greenhouse grow for all the plants. As the weather changes and the plants bulk up it's very possible the one Mama Mia, Helen, will move indoors full time.
