Good eye, Dyold. I noticed that in the picture, too. I found the spots on the leaf and they appeared to be just plain old dirt and brushed right off.
The greenhouse in now plant free. I did some murdering. Ya know, it was a pain in the ass going out and rolling back the cover. Putting the cover on when it got dark. Last week's stretch of gray weather made things more difficult. It was hard to keep the thing warm in the day with no sun. When the sun was there it was great, but I was blowing lots of watts heating the damn thing. And, it was getting really stinky. I felt like I was hanging a banner at the door that said, "BREAK IN AND ROB THIS HOME."
With another stretch of cold gray weather set to roll in, and a desire to go away for a few days at Thanksgiving, I murdered Colette and Dyarina. I also whacked four colas off Helen so she'd fit sideways in the cabinet. Roxy and Helen are going to live indoors.
I took a couple of small test buds off Colette and Dy over the weekend. They weren't bad. I can only imagine how good they would've been if left to mature. Don't know how much of this I'll smoke. It might all go into a batch of butter or a run through some hash bags.
Probably an ounce and a half or a little more of decent nugs, and a bowl of trim:
I was pleasantly surprised by the density and development of Helen's nugs. She's kind of deceptive, but overall it seems like her tops are bigger than Helen's... Less mature overall, but she seems to be bouncing back from the defol. Helen on the left, and Colette on the right:
No regrets. It would have been cool to let everyone go the distance, but it's nice to be free of the hassle. Maintaining the greenhouse would have been increasingly time consuming and stressful. I don't need that much product.
So, here are Roxy and Helen in their permanent home. Three - five weeks to go, I reckon.
