The highlights on your bud pics tend to blow out, so I was wondering if you saw this post in UA's thread about using something to soften the light?

Yeah.... I get all antsy & rush things. I've got a few different lights that I like to use. I'll snap a few tomorrow & post for comparison.

I own neither a camera nor a computer. LoL I'm a simple creature.
I've had really good pics when I use my little dome light, I rig it up on a tripod to light things up.
I was too lazy to pull all that stuff out today.

It will work with a phone, just need a diffuse light source.

Gnats hate air flow. The more air flow the less gnats want to be there.

Shots some pics of the CPK this morning under different lighting. Switched from the flashlight over to a 45w LED bulb. Still seeing a bit of "washout" around the edges, but definitely improved.
I'll try a 25w bulb in a bit....
Anywhoo... here they go.
