Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

not a problem,
these plants are tougher than old boots, we abuse them which ever way we like in veg and they bounce back, ive ripped males out of their pots and replanted in another room so i can collect pollen and they just bounce back after a week or 2,

autos ive always grown and ive got my own pheno selected auto strain which im very happy with now and im pulling 2oz dry off each one i grow so got plenty of auto seeds from that strain, the strangest thing is that the cheaper autos tend to be a better smoke and produce better yields, the kc45 auto is one of the cheapest you can buy yet it produces well and is a very nice smoke ive paid top money for autos in the past and ended up with tiny yields as they start to flower after about day 14 from seed,

D.P mate, you are SO right. My mate ran autos for a while. He bought high end price wise and NEVER got more than 1.5oz off them....and it tasted like harsh pond weed! I've bought "middle of the road" Heavyweight Fast n Vast and so far they'e living up to their name :) I'm going to run them again (3 anyway) whilst the Tutt girls are in flower and "play" with them a little lol. LA tells me you once hit 7oz off an auto :) THAT is incredible :) What was it if you don't mind me asking? :)
 
Sorry for being AWOL ! Just some visitors I didn't want rnd lol all good now though. Ok firstly I hit 7 only once lol with an auto, it was DP Think Diff done tutt style. I also got 6.5 from a DP Snowstorm (Same style) Even made a comment on their web site :) I worked with training of auto's for an age as Ive said before . It took me many cock ups and H'd crops before I understood what I could get away with on an auto. :)
Now as for your slight clawing, yep of course Dp is right on the money :) just drop feed :)

LA..... Thanks mate :) I've been in the tent this morning and raised the reflective curtain I'd had semi dividing the Tutts from the autos. This WILL improve fresh air flow and slightly lower the temps in the autos area. I'm putting them on a diet too lol. I'll feed every 2nd day as usual but only 3/4 strength and with PK13/14 and (if I can get some ) boost. :)
Thinking (planning :) ) grow No2 already.....going to buil a nice breeze block grow room AND separate flower room. I've got (photos) 2 x Sage n Sour, 1 x Akorn (aka Snowbud), 1 x Strawberry Cheescake and 1 x Power Flower.........I'll need 1 more but that'll be a freebie from Herbies when I order my next 3 autos....(probably Heavyweight Fast n Vast again). Have you grown ANY of the above photos mate? :)
 
Nope :) Its great fun, all the different strains out there. I'm loving the fact that soon enough, I should have 11 different types to try! :) Having a big selection is gonna be a dream come true lol. I'm probably gonna stick with growing out separate strains per plant each time now as the Idea of say 20 -30 diff smoke strains makes me grin!
 
Yep....it'll make you grin even more once you've got 20 nug jars ALL filled and labelled lol :) I fancy a bit of variety...eventually. I'm sticking with the same autos for my "experiment" purely because I now know from this grow how they look and what I can do with them:) To be fair, I think they'll be a decent yielder AND a good smoke (they're PROPER stinky lol) :)

I like that plan OZ...I've only got 5 strains to choose from right now but we still mix it up often depending on the time of day or mood ....20 different strains would be awesome :)
 
Hi mate :) I'm just happy to get this first grow done successfully for now :) That'll give me the confidence to crack on with more variety going forward. With the Tutts and 2 different autos going I've got a choice from this one but next grow will have 6 different strains:) After that it's ALL GO lol :)
 
Cheer mate, your very kind and I appreciate your encouragement :) My son will round tomorrow so I'll have more pics and an update then. Today I'm going to just set some of the nodes into what I hope will be their final positions. I'll reset them daily to get them right lol. They're being allowed to go vertical from now so as LA says, I need to try get all the bud sites level so the energy is distributed evenly. Should be fun because a few are twisted so bad there's no way of levelling lol :)

Cheers mate. Like LA, I want to get around 10" of vertical growth before I flip on 31st Jan :) With any luck I'll have 2 or 3 that will be BIG yielders and the others should still do okay :) I set myself a target when I started which I know I won't reach now because of my heavy hands lol. But I do NEED to hit a certain figure by mid April lol :)
 
Postman just been with my Herbies order :) Honestly, I can't recommend Herbies highly enough. I ordered on Friday night (about 10pm) and here are the beans already......AWESOME SERVICE :)
