Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

Evening all.....hope your respective gardens are green, mean bud machines :)
Mick, to be honest, I went 18/6 because it's the "accepted norm" yep, I'm a follower NOT a leader or innovator.......YET lol :)
I will try GLR next grow though :)
Well guys, after the major training, defol and BIG feed yesterday.....they've EXPLODED :) The Tutts look incredible and the autos continue to amaze me. The LA Diva which was 11" 5 days ago is now just over 19" and getting bushier by the day :). I have been tying them down a little to get better light penetration to the bud sites but I'm fighting a loosing battle. If I let them they'd over run the tent lol :)

Hey MrFlex....great to have on board my friend :) As you can see I'm trying (and failing miserably lol) to emulate LAs flux but running my auto alongside them too......manic fun lol :)
LA my mate......I'll get pic update on Tuesday when No1 son gets here. I'll be bombarding you for advice buddy.....AS ALWAYS lol :) Thanks for the kind words and encouragment mate :)

Don't dis-credit yourself Oz, you're doing a great job!

Thank you sir Reg....you're very kind :Namaste:. Truth is though that I started with 10 girls to flux, various snapped nodes, badly headed and heavy handed training later, I have 2 which resemble LAs Gitt, 2 which are "ok", 4 that have "Y" or "X" fluxs and 2 bushy sticks lol. It's been a steep learning curve for sure lol :) NEXT TIME I'll get it spot on lol :)

And you Sir are way too kind :) MUCH appreciated mate :) Hey, if anyone learns from my mistakes and misadventures then it's ALL good. :) To be honest, I quite like the "Y" flux girls lol :)

Thirded... Lol dunno if that's a word.... Twice seconded :)
Oz doing a smashing job mate. Totally splendiferous dude.
Quite an amazing feet from someone with 0% expieriance in this or any plant
Reps for u oz
And for u La

I know the feeling OZ. This fluxing is a steep learning curve as I've made a lot of mistakes. Beheading a girl and having to amputate a whole limb. It' small redundant as both the chemo I had in this grow have hermied after 30 & 31 days in flowering. Down to seven:(

:thankyou: You guys are the best, I promise this is the "last stir of this pot". Your help/input almost convinced me to change my method RE. the MUCH disputed lighting benefits during 24hr veg, but then I read this:

"If you search some ask Ed (Rosenthal) or Jorge you wil see they strongly recommend you stay on 24/7.
The argument goes; you may save a little bit on your electricity bill, but your overhead on space rental blows that away.

There are mythical claims that a darkness period is needed but there is no evidence to support this. Extremely healthy and potent marijuana is grown under 24-hour vegetative light. What is in dispute is whether the extra light hours bring a great deal of benefit compared with 18-hour light. Most 24-hour growers claim some increase in plant vegetation but few claim a large increase.

A plant can be maintained in 24 vegetative growth without being allowed to flower indefinitely with no adverse effects.

You do get less stretch and more bushy plants, and overall you get faster growth on roots and dry matter in the plant.
I usually notice that they stretch a lot more when the get to sleep.

Whats important for most is the turnaround of the "seed (clone)to harvest" time. You may not get there 1/6 faster thna on 18/6 but 1/7th or 1/8th is worth tslking about.

It all depend of your growing situation. Whats most important your utility bill or turnaround time."

what is your opinion on this?:thanks:

Do you believe your hermies came from the Fluxxing attempts & not any other scenario?

I cannot contest anything Ed or Jorge have said as they are legends...but I highly question the validity of that quote for many reasons

Me too LA.
The strain I'm fluxing has a habit of herming according to online reports. Wen u then throw GLR at them along with all the spapping of limbs iv had with her. Il be lucky as hell if she don't hermi....... Obviously though I'm hoping shel be fine as I'm still putting the time into fluxing her

Hi guys. One again I apologise for my lack of input on my own journal lol. It's very difficult at the mo with 2 of Mrs Ozs sons sat looking over my shoulder lol. Young lads they may be but they are DEFINITELY not of the "green persuasion" lol:) It's ll to do with their Mums job and NO, I won't elaborate lol :)Well, my son is here so we'll go "do a bit" then hopefully get some pics up :)
