Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

Hi mate, Yep you're spot on....a bit stretchy aren't they lol. But I LOVE women with LONG LEGS lol. No, point taken mate. When I re-pot they're going in deeper and I'll spend more time getting the light height right.
Talking of pots....you know your "interlocking" pots idea......well I think I have a PERFECT solution :)

Ozzzz ola sir........ Do tell me ur idea :)

Mate it's TOP SECRET and if I tell you.......well, I'd then have to kill you. And seeing as you're my good buddy and class mate I'll pass on that lol. Seriously though, I have got a solution which I shall explain but not just yet (I'm sat watching the SHITYEST movie EVER with Mrs OZ at mo!) Ouch, quit slapping me Mrs OZ lol :)

Basically it would be like those Russian Dolls mate. Start with your final flowering pot....say 16" diameter....put a 12" diameter thin walled tube (drainage pipe) in it and fill the space between them with media. Put another, say 8" diameter pipe inside the 12" and fill that gap with media....and so on and so forth. When you want to "re-pot" you simply pull out the tube and gently add a small amount of media. Repeat for each "re-pot" till all you have left is the plant in the main pot :) Hope that makes sense? :)

That's good but I'm assuming you pull the tubes upwards? That works until the plant is past seedling stage then a plant is often bushyr than the diameter of its pot...... Good thinking though oz it could work to a certain degree

Hehe, I like how you think OZ mate. The original McGiver.

Your girls have blossomed under your tender care Dr P :thumb: and I hope I can emulate that :) I'm happy with them so far. A day and a half since I potted them and 5 of the 6 are now above ground......(would LOVE another 100% success though lol). My only initial concern is how soon to start nutes and at what strength? Honestly think my Tutts suffered from starting late on nutes and DON'T want to do it again. On a more positive note, I'm ordering the 3 x 600w MH bulbs tomorrow so ALL the girls will benefit from 2200w of MH :) The atos are current under a 600w HPS lol :)

LA, you and your good lady would be MORE than welcome....we have a few spare rooms lol. :
Alex mate, the Tutts are sitting directly under the 400w mh. nce the new bulbs arrive it should coincide with their repotting when they'll be spread out to benefit from the FULL impact of the lights.
Ho paranoid am I now over timers.......especially after you as well Alex!

Well, off to bed now guys. Quick check on the girls first and put fans to heater mode lol. Catch you tomorrow mates :)

I would be very careful on the nutes for the Autos my friend ! ...

My ladies seem to like their feeds but they show a little 'nitro' burn on the tips ... I'm still only feeding them 1ml/1ltr of alga bloom at week 5!

Just go slowly and lightly, start about week 1 if using coco, week 2 if using soil ... You'll be fine dude !:)

Good night OzMeister !

Good morning WEEDETNAN.......how is everyone today? I hope your gardens are green and glorious :)

Well, we have all 6 autos showing now :) Buzzing with that. Just call me Mr 100% lol. :) Seriously though, I didn't expect all to pop this time so great stuff.

Dr P , wise words again mate. I won't start feed till week 2 just to be safe :) I'm going to start trawling through your and APs journals again too :)
The Tutts just keep on amazing me...growth rate now is phenomenal :) Happy DAZE me thinks :)
