Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

Thanks for the response OZ i will deffo keep up to date with your journal and as far as I've researched waiting 2-3 weeks is the best option but who am i to know...just a noob at the mo ahah
i have been advised to start feeding everyday and I'm 9 days from popping the Coco so not sure what to do, ill smoke on it i guess.

You're welcome my friend.....sorry I can't be more definite than that but seriously, if Cultivator say's it....do it :) He's an awesome grower with the results to prove it. That's no disrespect to anyone else by the way lol :) :peace:
 
Yeaaaahhhh, The pictures speak a thousand words thats for sure..i think i will wait for the 2nd week to pass and if my little ones are screaming for nutes before i will supply a quarter dose.

Hi again mate. Just realised yours is an auto grow. I know autos are a bit nute sensitive so, even MORE reason to talk to guys with REAL experience. Pop over to Cult journal (link is under his sig on comments on my journal) and ask him. Honestly, he'll give you the RIGHT answer. :peace:
 
Thanks for the kind words OZ. there are alot of people with diff experience on the net and on this forum, some guys mean well but dont have the answers. Some guys will tell u they know all there is to know cos the read a book but theyve never grown a plant! Others will tell u this technique definately works and that one doesnt because jorges cervantes said so. I say before u take anyones advice ask them what they have grown in what styles and in what media, ask to see pics of their grows. If they havent grown or cant back up what they are saying with evidence then 9-10 times they probably know jack shit.

It takes a long time to get accomplished growing. im not talking about getting through the odd grow and getting some bud, im talking about learning the biology, why the plant react the way they do and how to get quality with yield. Some people learn faster than others but always ask urself if there is anything u can improve on, make notes if u have to. the journalling process helps alot of people as it is a written document they can come back to and compare grows or find advice.

Above all be patient when growing, patients is virtue and it will reward u. Never try to rush a grow unless its absolutely necessary. Plenty of planning ahead is the key to success. Buy a white board and make notes on what u give the plants so u can have something to look through if problems start to occur.

Enjoy it! When u stop enjoying it, stop growing.........

Hi Cult...once again thank you for those words of hard earned wisdom :Namaste: I write down temps, RH, watering times etc etc every time I check on the girls......glad to see I'm doing something right lol. Enjoyment? Hell yeah :) I get a buzz every time I'm in the tent with them and see the growth :)
 
DAY 22 from receiving seeds, (16 days after ALL 10 had sprouted (some had sprouted a day earlier) )
So guys, here's a quick update along with a few pics.
Since buying the humidifier things are more stable :) RH is constantly around 59-61 but it does jump up a bit to 65 if I've just filled the res with fresh water. Only for a few minutes then settles back to 61. Temps are constant at 73-75f.
The girls had their first real feed yesterday :MoreNutes: 2mls each of Canna A and B along with 4mls of Rhizotonic per litre of water. I ph'd it down to 5.9 AFTER I added the nutes. I mixed up 2 ltrs and pipette fed them 10mls of the dilution each.
I did notice today some very mild "yellowing" and also the baby "round" leaves are curled quite badly?? Not sure if this is down to nutes or too close to the light so, to be safe, I raised the light a bit :) Anyway, your comments are most welcome :) :Namaste::peacetwo:

Sorry for the crap quality. Can't get used to this bloody camera :) And the humidty REALLY doesn't help either lol
 
The round leaves die and fall off eventually anyway mate so don't worry too much about them ... The ones on my Auto's did so after about 12 days from seed ... You should be able to just pull or prod them off with no force at all when they are ready to fall off ;)

Ahhhh i Seee, i haven't smoke for a whole 24 hours the longest since i met MJ, i think its time to stop reading and smoke up.
