Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

GOOD MORNING WEEDETNAM. Here's hoping you greeted by mountainous monoliths of buds in your gardens of green today.

Lol....you're not kidding Alex. He could (and did) tell a tale or 2 :) Not sure how true they all were though lol :)
The timers clicked off at 11:30 and duly clicked back on at 5:30 so ALL good there. Very happy because the temps sit nicely around 74f an RH is around 39 so no probs once I add a humidifier :)
Just off to do a little shopping then when I get back the boy and I will finish it off :) Catch you all later :)

Good afternoon, evening, night, morning.....whatever it is where you are......I love 420, so many diverse members from equally diverse walks of life and cultures.....AWESOME :) :Namaste: :circle-of-love:

As I've mentioned previously, I popped 4 baggies along a FnV auto (the experiment). They broke "soil" , well, coco.... 12 days ago. The idea was to run the 4 bag seeds as hempies to fill up "space" in the tent as the Tutts went through flower. The auto?......well, I guess I just want to see what I can achieve with it (I was mega impressed with the FnVs from my recent auto run). Anyway, my estrogen kicked in and told my testosterone that I should change my mind lol. So, I've converted a small outbuilding (actual size 54" x 45") into a nice little grow space which now houses the "feckless five"..........

Here's a few pics to help clarify what I've been up to

Before shot (emptied and swept)

Add a little shiny stuff to the walls and a pallet to the floor

Then some lights, filtration and air..intake and extraction

And the "feckless five"

So, this is what the Tutts are doing now

I've got my 400w MH along with 8 CFLs........so good light. I checked temps and RH (74f and 34RH) so might add a humidifier.

As always your comments and suggests are most welcome :)

Hi mate. Thank you kindly :) It's a kind of "beans on toast" thing....easy to do, cheap and fills a hole lol :)

Wow, I am impressed after reading the whole journal. Very, very impressed indeed. As I finish up my auto grow I am anticipating my seed delivery from Herbie's. It is so interesting how much fun this actually is. It has given my life some energy which I didn't have before. I have been so sick for so long that I forgot how to "get it up" for just about anything in life. Along comes my old favorite from my teens and SURPRISE!

I'm in the planning phase of my outdoor grow. I am uncertain if I should just plant directly in soil or if I should get large 30 gal pots and sink them into the ground using perfect soil. For some reason I cannot find a suitable journal of an outdoor grow in a backyard garden. Most of them are large ops.

I want to use the scrog method, and the way you tied the plants down was also very interesting looking. Why everyone doesn't grow using a screen for canopy levelness is beyond me. It's brilliant. I don't love that bending and breaking into knuckles thing...what's that called, super crop? Something.

Well, ramble I will...reps up!

Hi G.F....thank you so much for the kind words. These little plants have totally captivated me too :) I had always been a very active and competitive sportsman until recently. I think that lack of competition put me into a bit of a rut. Once I discovered I could actually grow and ENJOY my endeavors then it opened up a whole new world (literally lol) to me.
I'll be following your grow (and future ones) with interest. Perhaps we can swap notes :) I so wish we had your freedom to grow though. All this subterfuge, whilst adding to the excitement, kind of detracts from the pleasure of the grow. I had to "sneak" the girls out of my house and into the new room under the cloak of night lol ........very James Bond :)
Well, it's food time here (for me, not the girls lol). Hope to catch you later?

Yes, I spent an entire day looking at and being captivated by myriad photos online of privacy screen ideas. Some of or many of the screen ideas I have may just attract attention! I want something to put a barrier between my plants and the prying eyes of people. I'll have you know, nobody is prying in my backyard! I just don't want to give people anything to notice out of the ordinary...in case they do happen to look up. But this is the US where nobody pays attention to their neighbors unless they are annoying you! LOL

Woooohoooooo :) did that used to be an outside Loo?
Looks great oz very neat n tidy reps buddy

N haha mh grandads like that the tales he used to tell me and now tells my kids are getting taller n taller
Wen he was camping as a lad a big brown bear came in his tent.... He popped it one in the nose n it ran away haha

Yes Alex my friend...that was once an outside Karzi lol. Bet it seen some S##T in it's time but nothing like the stuff I've just put in it lol :) Brown Bears lmao....:rofl: Everyone knows there's no Brown Bears in our woods......must have been a Grizzly lol.

:goodjob: Ozzy...

Good green evening one and all.....I hope all is awesome in gardens and the smile on face stays in place :)
Well, all I can say is VIVA LED lol. :) Yeah, I've gone and bought myself a nice, little "intro" to the world of LED. A 300w panel which I'll be putting in the little room.....Got in the tent at mo but with over 3000w already there serving 10 girls I think it won't be needed lol So, experiment? or hempie converts? What's your opinions? :)

Hi mate....it was on the tree of gums :) Blue n red lights and a silver casing.....nice bit of kit :) Cheap as chipolatas too lol :) Trust me though....you DO need shades coz it blinds you lol :)

Thank you Shangrila :) It's very rewarding to see great looking healthy girls after all the initial "cruelty" lol :)

Cool cool I looked at one on there. It wastge same 300 that Sara sell. Rectangular with two square blocks of LEDs. Green casing and only £80 the lad had lost interest. But it was in Sheffield and I couldn't be arsed with the drive
Looking forward to seeing urs.

Lol....I picked LAs brains first. He looked them up me (can't remember the Brand...... Geatlux I think lol) and he said it was ok :) I haggled a little and got it CHEAP :) It'll be interesting to see what it does. :) I got it from up North mate Northumberland :)
