Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

i enjoy growing and smoking the end results but trimming more than one plant is a right pain in the arse, trimiming must be the worse part about growing, when i trim one plant i feel ok, but half way through the 2nd plant and my hands are cramping up with all that trimming,

but you soon forget about it once your buds are dried and ready to smoke,

I ALWAYS smoke a BUNCH before and while trimming...Yeah it seems to take forever :)...but no pain...and I pay more attention to detail :)

thats my problem, some people trim really quick but i like to take my time and get as much leaf out the buds as possible, i like to trim as close to the bud as possible and if i can get to the stem of a sugar leaf without damaging the bud then ill remove the leaf that way, its just not good when you got 5 or 6 plants to do, i would hate to do a whole room or a load of outdoor plants, then id have to get in some help.

their is a trimming machine you can buy, its like a big round bowl and you put the buds in it and it spins the buds round then the bits of leaf that fit through the gaps get sliced off with the blades as it spins, but some say you end up losing lots of bits of bud if you have foxtailed buds of fluffy buds,

so their is trimming machines out their but its never going to compare to human hand when it comes to trimming, id use a trimming machine if i had a hundred plants and i was selling but for me its not worth it and id end up losing bits of bud that would normally still be on the bud it was cut from,

the trimming machines look like them salad machines that spin round and it spins all the water off the lettuce after you have washed it, you just throw the buds in and spin the handle or switch it on and it just spins it all around and any parts of leaf or bud that go trough the gaps get sliced off, some growers say they work well and others say they dont produce as good as doing it by hand, but if your producing hundreds of ounces then losing an oz or 2 of bud makes no difference.

I seen a couple of really good trimming machines a few years back in Amsterdam. Super pricey and probably not worth while for personal grows. Unless you are rich lol ;)

Some you hold the bud against a blade and choose how much is cut off. Not too sure how much leaf it would remove though, might just give a general shape.

They look cool though haha

Mate believe me....they're AMAZING :) Don't be scared to train them but DO give them space, light and A BIG pot :) Mine are in 5 (US) Gallon ones...if they were in 10 gal ones....they WOULD use the space :) ANY questions buddy just ask :)

:thumb: Good Morning Weedetnam in OZ!! "the 5 (US) Gallon ones" just made my day!

Gallons is progress, but adding (US) is funny! :high-five:

GOOD MORNING WEEDENAM......here's wishing you the greatest of green days :)
Srry about my absence yesterday....life got in the way again lol :) Thanks for some great posts and info shares. I'm thinking of getting a combined harvester in......lol :)

Trichy.....I add "US" because our gallons are 8 imperial pints and yours are 6.66 imperial pints......go figure lol :)

Well, hopefully, the boy will be round soon and work will begin. Tutts need a few adjustments and the autos swapping from place to place. Pics will follow :) Have a great day ya all lol :)
