Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

Hi guys...... Amber is around the hairs (pistles?) mate :) They've gone from pure milky white to orangey (I'm colour blind but can see the change lol) It's a lot more prominant at the top....maybe 25-30% there but not so much lower down. Even got new buds STARTING at the bottom still lol :)
Jay I'm buzzing mate (in more ways than one lol) my "first grow" is nearing it's end and I'm like an expectant Dad lol :) Can't wait to taste it :) Alex, my son says it's VERY much Lemon Haze in smell........I'll drop you a bit in buddy if you want? :)
 
Hey oz I belive your making ur judgement wrongly as I did on my first grow....wen we speak of amber Asa %
We talk about the level of milky and amber in the trics
The pistols/hairs will mainly be 100% withered and dead at chop.
To seethe Amber's of trics u need to get ur son with a magnifier 30x + to look close at the trics. These are that sugar crystal toppin. Each sparkle is a trichome. We look at clusters of these with the glass to determine amber/milky %

Lol....great info mate and you're spot on....it's the pists we were looking at :) The leaves are still VERY frosty and white. Hey, I'm a noooob, what can I say lol :) Buddy I'll happily drop you a bit of each in, LA Diva, FnV AND Tutt when they're all down :)

Maybe a little longer OZ....that's good...bigger buds...a week or two more makes a big difference towards the end...everything Alex said is spot on (you guys still say "spot on" or is that not cool? LOL)

Cool oz sure il enjoy it :) they will remain looking frosty white to the eye so make sure it's a magnifier job :)
I never actually checked trics for 2-3 grows. I went totally off pistols. Wen they were mainly all withered I would harvest
It all smoked well but il of missed out on yield... Live n learn :)

He he. I did keep scratching my head thinking my god his autos are actually going on the right time frame! Glad weve cleared that one up, I thought I was going daft lol.. (Nice one Alex)
You have a good while yet and all that means is a lot more smoke for you! :) chuffed for you as your gonna have a damn good harvest :)
 
Lol....premature again....always too soon.....STORY of my life lol. Just had the Loupe on it and we've got clear to milky on all the auto girls....no amber at all. It's a double edged sword because WOOO HOOO BIGGER yield :)....but....BOOO HOOO It impacts on the Tutts flip. LA do you think if I flip on 31st as planned the Tutts will explode quickly or is 2 weeks initial flowering still going to be ok? Also, will the change in light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12 effect the autos?
 
Right my friend this is a hard one to be honest. Flipping the time frame might set back the autos. It shouldn't H them but will delay. Its a sod as I know your on a time frame. Id go for extra veg and more vert for tutts. But again your on a time limit. So ts a real hard one. :(

Didn't that ring help the premature thing? Lol
Wish I could aid more on the lighting.... La wil no more than me. I'd be tempted to just leave autos were they are. Flip as planned as every day longer make the autos better. N if 3-7-11 days into flip it's too crowded.... Pull ur autos. They've had 3-7-11 days more to ripen that they wouldn't of had if ud pulled them early thinking it's for the best if ya gett me?
 
Good day OZ...like LA said if you can wait till the autos are done to flip you will get a higher yield from the autos and a higher yield from the Tutts due to a longer veg...the time limit makes it tough...like Alex said do the best you can...any extra time will make a difference...great advice from those two blokes :)...sometimes when I have space issues I will pull one plant at a time to make just enough room while still letting the others go longer

Great info all round guys thank you all. Just had a quick discussion with the boy and 2 weeks longer is the verdict So, Tutts will be flipped 14th Feb (Valentines Day) :Love:

Got some pics now....you'll LOVE them I hope. The boy used his phones magnifier THROUGH my loupe and after a little added editing we got some GREAT close ups of the trichs on the autos. There is 49 pics of various plants so make a tea/coffee, skin up, load your pipes/bongs sit back and enjoy

Awesome my friend :) The tutts are looking great, well better than that lol. You have made the correct choice in extra veg for them. You will get some real good vert going. That alone will give you such more yield.
Anyway simply brilliant growing buddy!
