Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

GOOD MORNING WEEDETNAM....here's hoping that buds abound and green is great and plentiful in your gardens my friends :)

LA...love those pics mate :) Nice "stocky" little girls....and beautiful bud too :) I've got NO experience of photos OR autos as you know but, I gotta say, I'm amazed at how fast and easy it's been with these auto girls. The F+V are from Heavyweight Seeds and the LA.Diva from Delicious Seeds.
Alex, No4 was micro topped early on as per LA's wishes. I also stripped the bottom 2 nodes off. Yep, they're sensitive but doing it eary works buddy. Looking through my notes (I keep a daily written dairy lol) No4 was "in the middle" regarding growth. No3 was the best, then No6, No4, No2 and No5 (No1 is the Diva lol). Now I'd say it's the 2nd best behind No3. I'm confident enough that they'll take a bit of early topping, stripping and LST to do a "flux" type grow on a single F+V next run lol. :) Yield wise? Well, your guess is as good as anyones mate but I do hope for around 2 zips each on average :)

OZ I was about to give you a big speech about how you would do that mark easy; going with your set up and lights, no problems on the 2 zips front! Then I remembered you have one light per 6 auto's. :) I still say you will hit that no worries!
I also predict maybe a fortnight longer than you think. If you want nice Amber present! :)

I may be wrong and maybe auto's have improved a bit since I did em. I certainly wish you all the success in the world buddy and hope you end up with some stellar smoke as quick as you wanted. :)

The other fun bit is you will be wanting to take tester buds off when you get towards end. Then you can find out if its a strain that will give you amber or not! Simply if its blowing your socks off at Milky and has gone its term, then most likely you aint gonna get much amber! This bits fun though lol :)

Also after the 9 I'll do some auto's on one more run. I'll do a training guide etc on how to get the best out of them. Just to show big yield is very possible on them. Just wait lol you will be shocked at how much work can be done on them. As OZ says its just doing everything really early on! Then your normally golden! :)
I never thought I'd go back to them to be honest but you guys have perked my interest again lol

Lol....now I'm quivering with anticipation :) I was wondering how I was supposed to know when they're ready. I guessed when the orange/amber started to show I'd know but, being colour blind it ain't that easy lol. My son keeps saying...."look at the crystal on those leaves Dad" and I say....."what crystal?" "I can't see anything" lol :)

OK OZ if you aint subbed get over to Mono's thread he is having issues with getting amber on his auto's. I've just given my way of knowing when they are ready. Its simple it will look dead! All fan leaves will of dropped of on their own! etc etc.

As for your thoughts of doing a flux on one next run. YOU LITTLE STAR!!!! :) if we could find that they will withstand a flux (when everything done on a micro scale) Then this would mean Fluxing is a massive game changer for auto growers as well!! Awesome work my friend. I think they would take it, if done with real care!. So you Sir could be the guy to break ground and prove a change in auto's production! :)

I'll pop over to Monos "house" now mate :)
I agree buddy, I see no reason why they shouldn't flux IF it's done gently and early on. I'm looking forward to trying it :)

A fluxed auto :) that I Gota see. As u said b4 mate it will go one way or the other I think hopefully u can do it :)
Best going for a lanky auto a one that goes nice n talk may suit the style better

That's why I was going to do the LA Diva mate but the F+V are about right I think. They'll reach about 24" on average (bit more maybe) which would be great horizontal :) Also as I said they are ALL just over 24" wide so my BIG box will be spot on. If I can get them spread as I want to then no reason not to have 30+ big fat juicy Colas :)

Yep something like a super auto, they would be ideal for it :)

L.A mate, I think the F+V will work excellently for the reasons above lol: Mid height, wide and LOTS of sites. They also handled the LST I've done ok. Fingers crossed it'll be ALL good :)

Lol....you'll ALWAYS be the MASTER buddy :) I guess it's like what we said before....we have very similar natures :) I love to experiment and, in this case, what's the worst that can happen? I fooook up, kill a plant and prove I'm a knob once and for all lol. On the other hand, if works....well, EVERYONES a winner :)

GOOD MORNING WEEDETNAM....here's hoping you're gardens greet you with green beyond comprehension and buds a plenty :)

Sorry I disappeared early last night I was just SO tired I crashed out and slept in the room with my girls......even the fans didn't keep me awake lol :)

Cheers Alex, yeah, I don't feel noob at all lol. Proper old fart now :)
I've not touched ANY of the girls (autos or Tutts) for 2 days now.......I thought I'd just give them some "chill n grow" time. It's working too :) Some big growth going on with both. I'm of a mind to give them 2 more days just growing then, on Monday, get some serious training and trimming done on the Tutts. That said, because the autos are ALL under 1 x 600w hps, I rotate them through 90 degrees every day or so in an attempt to even out the light share. I also switch pot positions to enable each one to sit directly under the light at least once a week (not the Diva though....she's TOO DAMN TALL) :)

Well, I've just dropped a totally random bag seed into some water :) Got an experiment I want to try :) The seed could literally be ANYTHING....and is probably at least 1-2 years old lol. It was donated by my son :)

OZ, you jumped into this sport several months ago, and now your journal is where I can get all my answers without having to question anything I read.

Your freeking great sense of humor and the information that you have gathered is impressive to the the point that, this is where I now go first, first for a smile, then this precious shared information.

That's is the good news,
bad news is, you can't say when you are no longer a noob!!! lol
I'm pretty sure that "noob" is something that stays until pictures of dry buds are posted!!! lol (BTW, your buds will be coming to a contest here, very soon.

WEEDETNAM is hilarious, and it won't ever get old!!
