Overlord's Adventures With High Brix

from tragedy arises new opportunities... C99 breeder comparison? ;)... Either way I look forward to seeing some interesting new babies!

I think I will run this IC91 a couple of times, I really like her structure. She will definitely be run this upcoming round, but anything further will depend on how she smokes..

I will get to the C99's I have, but will be at least 3 or 4 runs out.

Well I finally had my chance to make some COBs', One is 32 grams even and the other 33.5. I let them hang dry about 34 hours, but the cobatron has been preheating for a couple of days. The STC- 1000 has held the temp to .5 degree over or under, but this is what it is set for. Thanks to @JustMeds for that, but I can see the need for a 2nd cobatron if your running perpetual or stagger harvest over a day or three.

We have a festival in town this weekend and people are in from all over the country. Which means I am getting killed at work, so I may not be around or make much sense until next week.
:peace:

Sweet cobs m’lord! :high-five: Mmmmm.... nice sizes too. I like mine cobbled after they’ve been hanging long enough that when I walk past they say “cob is now!” Lol! You get a feel for the timing after a few.

We know there’ll be at least a couple more. :battingeyelashes:

Bummer about the mother’s. :hugs: I’ve learned that what looks like a setback is always a blessing in disguise. Not even some of the time. All of the time. I like how Gazoo puts it, “Look back in a few years.”

I gotta get me a camera when I get settled. The close-ups you guys get drives me nuts!

I was going to plastic wrap my sushi mat, but realized I had some oil slick paper and substituted it instead.

I am thinking next time I may just try one of my silicone mats, easy to clean no fuss and no reoccurring expenses.

I used a cheaper Nikon DSLR with the kit lens and extension tubes I got off the zon for those pics.

I agree on the silicon mat m'lord. I may track one down myself after the move.

"I used a cheaper Nikon DSLR with the kit lens and extension tubes I got off the zon for those pics."

That was so Greek to me that I laughed out loud. Lol! Both my daughter and her father were camera enthusiasts, and I paid not one lick of attention to what they were doing.

Don't get me wrong though, they take very nice pics for the average Joe Photographer.

I don't doubt it. I take really good ones with an iPhone and inspiration. Take enough and you start to develop an eye. Lol!

:) That’s exactly what i got for my birthday - I’m going to have to go and check out these extension tubes you speak of :thumb:

Yes you do! A decent camera will really get you fired up. SO, if o’lord doesnt mind... fo SUe

DSLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex which is a type of camera body that can have different length lenses attached. Nikon is a brand, as is Canon and Olympus. That should get you started!
Something is gonna find it’s way to you no doubt.

I need to go back and catch up, i missed a bit I think... :smokin2:

Was harvesting the rest of the plants today and remembered I didn't take pics.

But did remember in time to get pics of both the IC91 & TheDungeon tops before they were washed.

Looking sweet like candy! The dungeon looks like it has pink calyxes :passitleft::high-five:

Whoa! Excellenté m'lord. :high-five: Sweet colors on display. Looks like you had a day of trimming, trimming, and maybe a wee bit more trimming.

You guys and your gloves. I need to be in physical contact, but then I don't get as carried away with the trim. Every bit of the plant is covered with trichomes, and most of mine end up consumed as edibles, so I can get away with being lazy. I've gotten to be really good at trimming while they're still wet and don't stick to me as much. Working without gloves you have to be good with being sticky.

Personally, I love being sticky. Lol! Makes it challenging to get pictures though.

Of course I'm not hoping to catch the eye of the membership with an entry to the NOTM contest, and with colas like that I'd bet my bottom dollar that thought crossed your mind a time or two today. :battingeyelashes:

Thanks for finishing out my day with such eye candy. Goodnight. :hugs:

Looking real nice. That IC91 looks chunky as a Mofo

Thanks & it is Chunky... What Ohso called the "Golf Ball sized nugs" on the lowers filled the palm of my hand while cutting.

It is, and that lighting is not so good to show that, when they dry I will get some shots under better light. See my comment to sue below.

Yes, but I prefer it not to be all over my DSLR camera and it is easier to clean up.

You hit the nail on the head with that one, but we will see how they look after dried. TheDungeon has this purplish pinkish hue to it, probably due to the gooey breeder Dark desire in its' lineage.

Thanks Gazoo, but where was this last night?

Wow OL, those are some pretty ass buds! Nice and chunky and beautiful structure. The fruity is probably Myrcene and the wake up may be Pinene. Does it remind you of fresh forest air and clear your sinuses?

Yes, but more like a fresh forest of super sweet dank fruit.

Looking amazing OL! Definately NOTM contenders! I'm curious if you can get the finger hash off those gloves? Looking forward to seeing 9 plants in the 4x4!

:passitleft:

I have to clean up the area tonight and move the controller so it doesn't block the light. Then take some clones, trim & transplant.
It may take me a couple of days as we were busy all weekend and I still need to catch up on sleep.
