POLLEN COLLECTING AND DRYING UPDATE
Hi all, so I went in for a shake with this paper plate. Just taking the open looking sacs and bending them over the plate with a skewer and tapping about. It's pretty damp and needs to set for a day in lowish rh conditions. I'm at 60% and that's the top number so I'm good.
Freshly tapped with pod remnants.
And I tweezed them to let it sit over night.
That pile is enough pollen to make a zillion seeds right there! One or two more times and This will be behind me. It's nerve wracking having this guy in my shed and accessing him hoping I don't let his pollen fly! My ladies are 150 feet away so I have to end this soon! Then the showers and clothes changes to remember for my tent dwellers safety. Timing is an issue now.
