Sorry. I worded myself wrong. what I was meaning to ask was did you just decide to defol during flowering to get better penetration, or did you actually train your plants during veg period with the high defol technique to prepare them for defol during flower??sorry I can be confusing at time..Thats what she says at least!!

your a female grower? um well obv in scrog its important to keep things nice and clean, but my girl deff did get used to some pretty heavy defol sessions. i also read ALOT on the topic, and if your girl is fairly old like mine was, very healthy like mine was and had a huge root mass like mine has (400ltr bin) then the plant should be able to cope very well with the defol. of course it has added benifets for light pen, and once all the fans grow back the lower nodes will have had a good 3-4weeks light. then im going to defol half the amount on day 42 of flower and leave her to finish

No im not a female grower. Did my pretty pink avatar throw you off..lol..Check out my grow in my signature. I wish I would have known about the Defol technique earlier. As I am in 6th week of flower and do not want to put any stress on my babes by stripping off fans. This is why I was asking if you did your defol only during flower. Thanks

Thats what she says at least!! (that threw me of LOL) you could do a small defol 6weeks in if your nice and healthy just take every second fan of... OR if you have around 3 weeks of flowering left you can take a set of fans of each node and go three nodes down for the remaining time

so ill get some more pics up, thoughts on how this might end up after another 4 weeks? do we think ill finally achieve my goal of solid nugs after drying? started yesterday feeding monster bloom from grotek. will give her another 3 feeds with that over the course of the next 2weeks

hey guys so i need a bit of help please. my other girl is in a 100ltr pot and the mix i made has started draining very poorly.. the prob is she is all tied down to stakes and pulling her out of the pot to fix the mixture im not sure is an option although may be the only one i have unless anyone else has some suggestions? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

the symptoms are yellowing of fans deff not due to n deff, and whole plant wilting. soil prob stuck into the side of the contaioner and bottom drainage holes says the mixture is extremly wet. one half is nearly dry and the other side of the pot isnt..

Sounds like she's suffering from possible root rot.

aight so i cant do the dunks or anything but what ill do is pull her out of the pot, replace all the soil with a new fresh mix with better drainage clip of any dead browning roots rinse my container out with bleech and put her back in, BIG job but i think she should be fine after that considering how large she is. ill do this tomorrow. hopefully she will be ok until then

i hope so.. im at day 31 or 32 cant member but my buds are not even close to been as fat as others on here. i think i need to work more on my feeding schedule or maybe lack there of lol. but fingers crossed they fatten up a bit in the last few weeks, thanks for popping in buddy

Hey deception333, From what I've seen the longer you wait, the fatter they get. up the point when its done growing or your budget says chop time.

They can really fatten up on the second half, you usin molasses in your nute regimine? I always ask that to anyone who thinks their buds could be fatter or more dense. I always use it and so far, fat thick buds. Good luck....and pretty plants!

nope i dont have any molasses and i dont really have a nute regimine.... i figured there was enough base nutes in the organic mix its in, and i added lots of things in veg to get the soil mixture activated plenty of worms, only thing i have been adding is potash and mega bud started last week giving another feed tomorrow ill get my hands on some molases too. and i can run her as long as possible to try get her to fatten up. thanks for the replys! ill get some pics on later tongiht
