Outdoor Mixed Seeds Northern Ca Varieties Twreck Purps and Misc

Alright, so I finished up the holes for all six plants today. Man, it's tough work in this California heat, but it's so worth it. :) The spot is all secure with a make-shift fence so my dog doesn't get any ideas. :grinjoint: I will be putting the bag seed plants in this weekend. I can't wait to get it done. I will hold off on the clones until they start looking better. Everything's coming together, thanks for reading. :thankyou:

Alright, so I went outside this morning to gaze at the girls and I have a new watch dog. I just happen to be checking out my babies thoroughly and found him hanging out. I like how he's hanging upside down like he's Spiderman or something. :grinjoint: I took a few pictures, I love my new PREDATOR!! :peace:

Also, one of the clones has a few hair's on top so they might flower early. I hope not. The clones still look bad but there growing so that's a plus. I'm a little disappointed with the clones, hopefully they pull threw.

I have decided to transplant the 6 babies today. It is just too damn hot in CA right now for these fairly small pots they are in. This is not helping my situation with the clones, so I went over the Hydro Shop and picked up 2 more bags of soil(also have almost 3/4 of another bag of Amazon) and a bag of perlite. I'm hoping I will have enough to do all the plants, but holes are pretty big so I may need another bag. I figure this will cool down the root zone quite a bit and boost these momma's into overdrive. :) I want these suckers well established before flowering. I will update later tonight after I'm finished with some pictures. MORE WORK, owell I'm used to it. :peace:

I went ahead and transplanted the plants tonight, all but two. I ran out of soil so I need to get one more bag and more perlite. The holes I dug are pretty big so there taking up the soil QUICK. I got the three clones in, when I transplanted the clones, I could feel how warm to hot the rootzone was. I think once they take root in these big holes, they will spring right up. I also transplanted my favorite plant, almost root bound so a good time to get her out of that small planter. I forgot the camera, and I'm not finished, so I'll put up some snap shots tomorrow. (yawn) I'm tired Good Nite...

I got all the plants in FINALLY. It's been in the high 90's to 100+ here lately. I should of had all this done a month ago. Anyway, here's a few pictures of the girls. There all looking good and loving the BIG holes. :)

My Favorite Plant, still looking nice and loving her new home.

Fattening Up Nicely. No more topping so there going to get big FAST.

This Plant is fattening up Nicely too. This is directly after the transplant.

Still looking horrible, but she is liking the big hole and cooler ground.

Such a big hole for a small plant. I hope she fills it Nicely. :)

The worst clone of them all, the new growth looks good. I bet she pulls through. If not, I'll get another one to fill that hole. :peace:

I went ahead and dropped a couple seeds just in case those clones don't make it. I picked out 5 really tiger striped seeds. :) I will be soaking the plants in the morning, it's been SO HOT! The seed plants are getting big FAST. I figure putting the seeds down now, I can still have almost a month of growth, and 2-2.5 months of flowering(no topping). Still plenty of time for some decent plants. Time will tell.

What's up grandaddie77, just caught up on your journal and am very glad to have found it. I also have had some issues with the heat but plants seem to be doing just fine. I would think that those clones where not ready to be put out in that heat, maybe you should try hardening them off a little at a time. It could also be the soil you put them in. They might not have been ready for it. At least thats what I have experienced with putting clones into soil with nutes too early. They will get uses to it... Just a thought. Anyway glad I found you and looking forward to watching those ladies grow... Very nice job... + rep

Thank you Sonzor, for stopping in. Yeah man, I should of never put them out there in the full sun like that. Dumb move I know. Two of them are jumping back in it, but the small worst one is trying so we will see. They started burning before the transplant, but with the heat and nutes, BAD Combo. Owell, live and learn, sucks cuz I knew better, that's what I get for being impatient. :(

Thanks for the Rep. :)

Alright, so I soaked up the girls this morning, I also took some measurements. My favorite Momma is so freakin' AWESOME. No matter what I do to her, she just grows and grows. I transplanted her and there was no shock at all, there was actually growth the next day. This plant loves the nutes, loves to be topped, she is the BEST. Her measurements are: 17inches Tall(buried deep) and 11.5 inches wide.

The second biggest bag seed plant is doing well. She didn't like being topped very much, but is a beautiful plant. She is also a little sensitive to ferts, but nothing major. Her measurements are: 13 inches tall and 10.5 inches wide. Still showing the reddish purple stems but growing nicely. Also buried deep.

The last bag seed momma is almost identical to the second plant. I bet there the same seeds. Same issues with her, a little fert sensitive, not much for topping, but doing well. I'm not topping them anymore so there going to get BIG. I will remove useless lateral branches later on when they start flowering. I will also be tying the branches to get light to the middle of the plant. I'm so excited, I just can't stand it. :) I did take some pictures(brothers camera) but didn't realize he had the black and white setting on. It was kind of bright anyway so the pictures would of been crap. I will take some pictures this evening with my camera(fixed my bros camera, he didn't even know it was on b/w). Thanks for looking.

It's getting so close to flowering, man I LOVE THIS STUFF!!
