Outdoor Grow: Strain Unknown

Gave all 8 of the girls some, handmade Ash and Crushed Coal feed mix! They received a light/moderate dusting around the top (Est. 1-2 Cups)and then mixed into top soil, also with about (2-3 Cups) of rain water.

Whats the deal with Flushing the last 2 weeks before Harvesting? Is that just indoor grows only?
4 of the plants are in pots outside and the other 4 are in the ground!

I've read both ways on the flushing thing. I flushed all I've grown in the past but now I will feed till harvest.

Lol, I know right! They're actually pretty bad this year in my area, I'm constantly having a kid scream in horror, and run in the room face to face with these huge red wasps! Tired of them, thats for sure!

Harvested another plant today! This time it was this lovely girl!!

I've been having issues with these damn Ninja Catapillers! They are driving me crazy, and this has been their main plant to be found on! So sadly its taken the most damage from them too! Still a good bit of Cannabis on her so I'm not at a total loss for this girl! Definitely better than the first girl I havested 8 days ago!
No pics of this harvest, sorry! Had to much going on and kids floating around the area, so I was in a hurry to get her trimmed and hung! But this time, I only did a light trimming, mainly fan leaves and the tips of longer leaves, making it just more uniform looking for the Hanging!! Peace everyone!

7 plants left, 3 in 5 gal containers and 4 in the ground!! A fee of these 7 are really nice too, one plant had several buds that are 5"x8", and they are beautiful, sticky and smell so nice!! We are getting some much needed rain right now too!! There is nothing, I mean nothing better than a good rain on your garden!

My gh is looking crowded but actually it's not. But as I skip through the rows I find myself saying things like excuse me and pardon me. Wtf is wrong with me? Lol.

Harvested the 3rd plant just a bit ago!! I don't havr a lot of time doing any of this, hell one of my 4 kids could just come tight out to the shed, and I'm busted, lol!! So, its not the cleanest, but i prefer a more thorough cleaning when its more dry anyway!! I will be harvesting the final 2 potted plants in the nest few days! Then that will just leave the 4 girls that are in the ground!!
So this harvested plant has about 75% foggy to 25% amber tris, and around 85% darker hairs now!! It was more the leaves and just the way the plant was telegraphing itself as ready! I don't know how to explain it!

The plant in the back, is the one I harvested the past Friday! She's looking great and right on schedule!
This little area stays a constant Temp between 70° - 75°, everyday! Not sure what the Humidity is, but I have a container of of water sitting in the bottom area, it has a lid with holes punched in it!!
This area will soon become an indoor grow room!! Hell Yeah!! Lol!!

So here is whats left growing in the garden right now! Harvested 3 plants so far, the first one was just the Odd Ball, La Femme Nikita, which didn't produce hardly any bud! She had some issues, its now curing! Then we have 2 plants that are now in the dry room, hanging up for the next week! 1 plant was put in there this past Friday and then the 2nd was put in there yesterday!

This one right here in the green bucket is some really nice bud! This bud has a very distinctive smell to it!! Its truly as fruity as fruity could be!! This Strian I believe is the same as the 4 plants that are in the ground, the bucket plant is bigger and better than the ground plants though, regardless though, even though my plants are mostly smaller, they will supply me with enough Cannabis to make me happy for several months!! Then there's the plant in the white rimmed bucket, it is the seed of Loud/Exotic that a friend gave me! Unsure of that Strain, but it's pretty amazing looking bud!! The buds are smaller but there is atleast 15 to 20+ bud sites on this plant!! I'm calling this bud Dying Light!

This grow season has had more ups than downs, so Im not complaining! Just tired of those damn Planes and Helicopters flying around daily!! Driving me crazy and worrying me to death, to say the least!

Nice to have your own homegrown. I wish mine would ripen faster. I'm prob still another week to ten days away from the one widow. The others will be inid to late October. This is the tough part of flowering. The wait and the daily scan of trichomes. Days fly by but not fast enough...lol. Nice harvest.

What's Up everyone? I truly hope all is well with you all! Remember, 420 is Not a Trend to Us, It's a Way of Life! Plant, Grow, Harvest, and Consume, Repeat...... Lol!!!

Onto the Journal, this girl was the one pulled after La Femme Nikita, the first plant Harvested, (which didn't really provide any actually buds). So even though this plant is technically the 2nd to be Harvested, I'm calling it 1st, do to actually buds!
Both of these plants had the most damage from from thise damn Ninja Caterpillar's, those slick little bastards, crawl or even drop in during the cover of darkness! Then they proceed to eat the pistols and the outer layers of the flower (buds)! This seems to harden the buds and deepens them in a greener color! They don't ever seem to recover, it must be some type of defense for the flower I'm guessing!

Anyway, I tested the moisture on one of the main sections of the stem to see how she would react to the bend (hear *Snap*), but no actually breaking of the limb Test! She passed and she was ready for the next stage of the Harvest!! Jarring!!! The buds sparkle due to the Tri's catching some light!!

So, that still leaves another girl still hanging in the dryin area, I believe she was pulled and hung 3 days ago, check past Journal entries for verification please!

Just cut buds off main stems, buds still need another, more detailed Trimming of the dryed small leaves!
Those smaller leaves are covered in Trichomes as well, so these Trimmings I save in a container as I'm cutting!!

I was doing some LST long after it was a good time to be doing so, and this is what I ended up doing! I had split the stem about an 3/4" to an Inch down the center/side here!! I immediately grabbed the tape and fixed the problem, atleast thats what I was most definitely praying at the time, lol!!

And this is it about 2 to 3 mths after the incident!!

Looks pretty impressive to me!! The only problem being and it's a big problem! It's the fact that the plant now has to send more energy to this location to repair an area that I shouldn't even had been messing with!! Speaking of which, the damage acquired at the beginning of flower! So I know I missed this plants cycle up in a way!! I got bud off her, but not the bud that you do flips for!! Lol!! Or whatever it is you do for bud!! Lol!!

This is her a few days before harvesting!! You can see the blue tape on the trunk!

Cannabis is real tough and takes a ton of damage. Nice repair. I've intentionally split all stems in my gh. All at different times. It's all in my thread. I think I'm getting good results. Next year I plan on doing the same experiment with two identical clones in the same medium. That will give me a better comparison.

Well, All Things Must Come To An End!! And thats all most where I am with this grow!!! Thank the Cannabis Gods themselves for this one!! It's been very stressful the past few weeks to a month here! Tons of air traffic everyday, same small plane that the local State Farts use every year, watched them the other day climbing into it at the local small airport! Fuckers!!
Anyway, sorry off track again, damn, you kinda signed up for that by reading a stoners post, lol!!!
But, the time has come my friends, ta ta ta ta today Junior!!!
The time has come, All the plants are pulled now, but 2 smaller ones that I have are still in the ground! I pulled, rinsed the roots, and wet trimmed 4 Girls today! Even though I had planned on leaving the roots on, 2 of the plants were to long, so I had to trim the main stems down some! I had left the last plant longer and the way it was laying, touching the ground, it smashed buds while drying.
I know my plants were not huge and my buds may not all look amazing, but I'm so proud of my little Outdoor Grow. Especially, since finding this Forum!! Life Saver to many, thats for sure! I learned more this GrowAround then I did out of my first 2 extremely small grows, 2005 & 2017, and now my 2020 Grow!!
So excited!!!
So, damn excited!!!!! Lol
I mean, growing Cannabis is not just, growing Cannabis! It involves so much more than that!
I don't, this time, I felt more of a connection to what I was doing. Plus, I grow my regular vegetables and fruits year around, and that's been the same feeling as well! Just much closer to the environment and to Nature herself!
Just a whole other level than ever before, thats for sure!!
It is 2020!!
And it has been a very crazy YEAR, that's for sure!!
But the Human Race will Survive, it has since our inception! Stay Positive and Love Your Life, is one of the best Quotes, I absolutely try to Live By, it's hard, about 200% of the time! But if I don't support myself, who will?
