JOURNAL UPDATE

All 9 plants are in flower, so thats a great percentage 9/11 Females, 2 Males!! Wish I had more plants growing, but 9 will suffice I guess! Somedays though it does get a little nervousing, neighbors are home, mowing and so on! Their older, not aure if thats good or not!! I have done my best to stay on good terms with them, they travel alot so they stay gone for days and even weeks sometimes!! So I have been blessed with a nice opportunity for this Outdoor Grow of mine!! Even if I get high sometimes and paranoia sets in, and every helicopter, passing vehicle and person walking is out to get me!! Lol!!
Seriously though, I worry a little here and there about what could happen if I get busted, but even though worrying is bad for the health, its good for awareness and not slipping up!!

Plants look great, like most of the States right now, we are dealing with storms raging across the area! I moved my potted plants into the barn last night, was expected to be high winds and chance for Hail, so I didn't want the girls to be dealing with that at all!
I'm really pleased with how this grow has turned out this year, this is officially my 3rd grow, every grow has had its errors and I've learned a lot each time!
Here's some pictures, hope you all enjoy them!!
P.S. Thanks to all for advice and suggestions! Knowledge is key to Life!!

They're looking great. Good move bringing them indoors away from danger. Hopefully you'll finish this grow without having to do that anymore.
The paranoid high sucks. It's like every fucked up scenerio plays through your mind and suddenly panic and fear drops in to visit. I hate it.
Last year I had a small seed grow of white widow going in the back yard. A helicopter came in low checking the power line I guess. I freaked out and I wasn't even high..lol. Next day I went to the dollar store and bought fake flowers. I twisty tied them in various spots in and around my girls. Did it help? Hell I dunno but I felt better...lol.
Only weeks to go now for all of us outdoor folks. Oct can't get here soon enough.

Damn right, my wife seen them in the barn compared to just outside, damn she is pissed! Lol!! And thats what I told her, October is just around the corner, and it will all be over! ......... Until next Spring!! LMAO!!! ............

But yeah, it truly feels like being apart of a Club, the Outdoor Grow Club, actually that is the next Thread I'm gonna make today!! Hell Yeah!!
And thanks, yes the girls are looking really beautiful!!

Journal Update

Hello everyone here at the 420 Magazine Forum! I just wanted to take a moment and actually thank everyone at 420Magazine.com for all their hard work and dedication! Special thanks to Teddy Edwards, you stay on top on this Forum like its no one else's business!! Damn, you all over the place, putting Threads were they go!! Anyway, thanks everyone for your hard work! Keep it up!!!

The Update:
The girls have had plenty of water over the past couple of weeks, you would think its mid-spring and were getting our April Showers bring May's Flowers ordeal!! Lol!!
Paying attention for mold though, with all the rain comes other problems if one doesn't stand at attention!!

I do have a question, on my main plant there is a bunch of little bud sites, not sure if their really gonna produce anything much, I mean any amount of bud, is great, even the little popcorn nuggets. The question is though, if I go ahead and remove the little bud sites, well that encourage more growth to the bigger buds? Or should I just leave it be?
Thanks in advance!!

The picture shows the little flowering areas around the lower to mid section!

Another Journal Update:

Feeding!!

I still haven't added any feed to the soil! I was told by another member that I could be in Nute LockOut, which I'm not sure if I am, and could be on ever plant? Doubt it!! But to be safe, I haven't added any more food since their last feeding on August 16th or 17th!
One can reference this Journal for what was feed to the girls! I have experimented with some different All-Natural ways to feed the plants, including my Vegetable Garden as well! In my own opinion, I've done a fantastic fu@king job! (Insert Self pat on the back here!!!)

I usually do remove lower growth that's not going to develop much. Kinda a waste of energy when all is needed for the top half. I'll be doing the same thing here soon. I'll dry them out n throw them in a pipe.

You've done well so far. Ya gotta have a pH meter to find out where your pH is sitting at. I'd put that on your Christmas list for next year. Some good nutes, tds meter, pH down, cloning gel, silica, and some good soil would help ya maximize your grow. I'd add some spinosad concentrate for the just in case bug apocalypse..lol.

Yeah, I definitely need a pH meter, I'm definitely learning here that's for sure!!

Looking good my man! Collect all the rain water you can, It is fantastic for all your plants! Your little flower sites look ok, as long as they are getting light they should be ok. Like @JimJonesJr said a ph pen is invaluable with a little nutrients to help along the way. It can make quite the difference in final yield. But wow mate going great and good on you for getting so involved, so hard not to right? I know all about the Mrs issues lol, I'm not aloud to buy anything else for my garden. To tell you the truth, I actually think I have gotten away with murder (shhhhh).

Journal Update

I watered the girls this morning, the pots were feeling pretty lightweighted compared to usual!

I did harvest La Femme Nikita, she was the Strange and very Unusual Girl I have, but time has shown me that she's just not that Into Growing Buds, lol!! So, I did what any good Farmer/Grower would do! Chopped her down, her buds are extremely small, I do mean small! She's been different her whole grow, even as a young sprout, she looked different!
Oh well, she's hanging and drying out now!

Discovered the other day what was eating my plants up!! Damn, Ninja Assassin's that, I believe sneak in under the cover of darkness to unleash their attacks!! Just spent the past hour removing any and hopefully all of them! After a little research, I believe this to be the species! Elephant Hawk Moth! Damn Catapiliers!!

Found 3 the other day, killed 7 today! All I can do is check daily for any and all intruders, and immediately REMOVE THEM!!

Peace everyone and remember, the Grow is as good of a High, as the Inhale!

Are they doing damage? I've not had catapillars yet but these damn thrips are driving me nuts..lol. Oh well, I'd rather deal with a few bugs then not have anything at all. Had to deal with some powdery mold the other day. Be on the watch out for it since your girls are out in the open.

Hell Yeah these little f#@kers are doing damage!! They eat all the pistols and surrounding bud!! Sucks bad!!! But I'm just gonna stay on top of them!!

I do believe I know how there getting the Caterpillar's, here lately Johnny Lawman has been flying high day and night! Damn LifeForce Helicopters fly through the area a lot as well, but if I dont spot that its them then stressed at best!! This last month can't Finish fast enough!
Anyways, do to the air traffic galore, I've had to move that potted plants under cover at night mainly! Just Because I Feel Better!! Anyway, I noticed know that the cover I'm placing the plants under is i fested with these caterpillars and other insects alike!!! Damn what a mistake! Oh' well! Chalk that up to learning.
I am gonna stay on top of my girls for the next several days, I found a few extremely small ones on the buds as well, so if I happened to moss any they'll be getting bigger soon!! And I'm not gonna let them eat! At All!!
Good luck to all you outdoor growers here in this final stretch! Peace and Namaste to ALL!!

Here is a picture from earlier today!! It shows the exact location of where these damn little f#@kers hide and damn do they hide good! I should have turned this into a more, "doctor type setting", more of a sterile extraction method. But at that very moment of discovery, my 2 hands, they've had more hand sanitizer put on them in the last 9 months so, " basically Sterile ", and a small pointy object, "a small stick from off the ground " would have to suffice!
Plus, I can't exactly bring all the girls inside for a Game of Operation, damnnn.... remember that Game! Kids these days know nothing about "anxiety", sH!i!itttttt.... play a game of Operation and sweat from fear of touching the side walls with those dang wired up tweezers!!!!! Those mid to late 80's, good times!!

Sorry, stoner drift, here is the pictures!

Damn things love hiding up inside the bottom of the buds, in between the layers! Really small ones as well, kinda greenish tint to them, babies I believe to the larger brown tinted ones!

Gave all 8 of the girls some, handmade Ash and Crushed Coal feed mix! They received a light/moderate dusting around the top (Est. 1-2 Cups)and then mixed into top soil, also with about (2-3 Cups) of rain water.

Whats the deal with Flushing the last 2 weeks before Harvesting? Is that just indoor grows only?
4 of the plants are in pots outside and the other 4 are in the ground!
