Re: Outdoor Grow Number 3 _ Lemon Bubble Haze

Still looking like a champ!:grinjoint: That Durban Poison looks like it's gonna give you some serious bud sites..man look at those tight branch spacings what's the height on them two? and the LBH looks good and sparkly but some look like they need a little N or something what you think is that something you posted about before cause I don't remember. them being like that the last post. I'll look back, oh and how tall are your LBH 4,5 I'm betting 30" on 5:peace:

What's up siscokid, the Durban Poisons are going to be some nice ladies I think. They are a over 4 ft. not exactly sure I think two may be pushing 5 at it's tallest and no sign slowing down at this point.

I think you are correct on the LBH's I am kind of at a lost with them at this point. I tried way too many new things at the beginning of this grow with new soil mix and new tea mixes. I am trying to get them back on track. I added some blood meal about a weak ago to see if that would help them out a little. We will see how it goes. The LBH 4 and 5 are at least 30" inches and growing at a amazing pace. I would bet an inch or more a day. I hope I can get them back on track and I am running out of time cause some of them are getting close to the finish line. I will go back to the old reliable next time and not fuss around with the new stuff. I keep telling myself keep it simple stupid. But for some reason I had to go and make it a little more complicated for myself.

Anyway enough with the rambling. Thanks so much for stopping in with you comments and suggestions...

Looks amazing man, definitely going to fill out nicely!

Thanks SanibleGreen appreciated you stopping in and your comments...

Hi sonzor:)

I'm with sisco, I see Durban Poison some where in my future. Nice looking girls.
The rest look good too. All the haze girls are fine things.

I can really relate to "Keep it simple stupid". We all just want to make it better and sometimes we just do too much.

Don't worry too much, I see a good harvest soon! :peace:

Re: Outdoor Grow Number 3 _ Lemon Bubble Haze

What's up boys and girls, update 7/20

Confirmed sightings of the dreaded bud worm, they are on at least 2 of my plants so far. Expecting to find more the later it gets. Pulled off one bud from LBH2 to get a close look and found 2 little evil worms. They did not do too much damage but give them time they grow pretty darn quick and can do alot of damage before you know it. LBH1 has been hit the hardest. Went out this morning to see if I could catch some of them but could not find any. All I found was their poop and some damaged bud so I know they are their.

Otherwise plants are doing pretty well. The LBH5 has doubled or more in size in the last week and has lots and lots of new bud site showing up every day.. She is going to be a good one if I can keep those worms under control.

Durban Poison 1 is around 4 to 4 and 1/2 feet with 5 or 6 tops and Durban Poison 2 is pushing around 6 feed and getting a little big for my taste but what are you going to do. It will be interesting to see how they turn out. No signs of flowers yet.

Mystery is pretty much the same I think she also reveged and is just full of leaves. At this point I am going to just let her go and see what happens.

Lemon Bubble Haze 2-1
Almost finished, Maybe 10% amber, I hope the worms don't get to her before I get to at least 50% amber. We will see any more damage and she will be pulled.

I hope this spider does not only eat its mate, I hope it also feeds on the evil worms...

The next two pics are from the LBH2 that a chopped one of the buds off to see if I could find some worms. Killed two worms on it and it had a little damage but not too bad. Trichs where not how I liked them mostly clear and cloudy but what are you going to do. I am still excited to give it a try. Off to the jar it goes for a month or so of curing before I light it on fire.

Had this one out in a 1 gallon pot. A week ago it was the same size as LBH5. Guess that little pot stunted it. I put it in a 15 gallon pot so we will see how she goes from here..

Mystery 1-1
Not sure about this one. Who know what is going to happen with her but at this point I am going to just let her go and let mother nature decide her fate..

Re: Outdoor Grow Number 3 _ Lemon Bubble Haze

My what a nice outdoor grow you have Sonzor! Truly a labor of love. Sorry to hear about the bud worms. Tell me please, what do they look like? I had my usual's over this grow with the most hated of them all, the stem borers taking first place. Are these 'bud worms' you have similar? These bastards I got, are laid as eggs by momma stem borer on a stem. The tiny larvae bore into the stem and proceed to eat the innards out. They will end up in the tops (buds) and will emerge as new mother freaking, mother's of bastards! These guys look like tiny white maggots at first them as they eat there way up the stem they become larger and their color becomes orange. Same?

By the way I'm with the rest of the crew in that I will be looking into Durban Poison sometime in the near future. Can't get over how delicious it looks! Great Job! Reps!!

Re: Outdoor Grow Number 3 _ Lemon Bubble Haze

Hello there Woodsman. I think my worms a different then your boreres. These little worms come from moths which come out of the ground and deposit there eggs on a leaf or bud. Once hatched they work there way into the bud and start eating. From the most part you cant see them, the only thing you see is there poop and the damage they do to the buds looks a lot like bud rot. Really hard to kill these little buggers, unless of course you see them and kill them with a pinch. This is a picture from last year. The Worm is green but they take on the color of whatever they eat.

This one is pretty big, It has done a lot of damage to get to this point. They start out brown and very tiny. Very hard to see...

Thanks so much for stopping in and your comments...

Re: Outdoor Grow Number 3 _ Lemon Bubble Haze

Ok boys and girls, got some sad, sad news. Was out with my wife yesterday and a Sherif helicopter came flying over my plants, did a u-turn and hovered directly over them. My grow is a legal grow but in the county that I live, that really does not make much of a difference if they want to get you or are trying to make a point. After much deliberation and a sleepless night with nightmares of my wife being taken off in handcuffs and my kids being taken away by social services, I decides to take the safe rout and get rid of everything. All plants and all but one little bud have been destroyed. Got to have something for all my hard work..

It is truly a sad, sad day. Really makes me want to cry but what can you do. The man can do whatever they want and I just can't risk anything happening to my family.

Thanks everyone for all the support. It was much appreciated. Going to take a break and hopefully when things feel a little safer I can get back to work on what is truly a labor of love...

Good luck all....

Go ahead and put this in abandoned or finished wherever you feel it needs to go...

I am really sorry to hear this man. Hate to hear news like this, every time it pisses me off more than you could know. However your concerns are valid and as sick as it is that you could lose your family over a fuckin' plant, its the sad reality. You just can't risk it. Sorry man. You made the right choice though.

Next time my friend, next time! :sorry:

Re: Outdoor Grow Number 3 _ Lemon Bubble Haze

You did the thing any responsible parent and pot smoking adult would. Family is always first. I wish they would quit refering to us in a less than manner. We're just glad to hear it from you not an upset wife. That really sucks though. My condolences on your loss.

Re: Outdoor Grow Number 3 _ Lemon Bubble Haze

I just came by to see what's up sonzor and I am speechless. :smokin2:
I am so sorry Buddy. :smokin2::smokin2: I know you must feel terrible, but better safe that sorry, Family is much more valuable than a grow. In my eyes you did the right thing. :):)
There will be another time my friend.

so much hard work gone......:smokin2:

Re: Outdoor Grow Number 3 _ Lemon Bubble Haze

Thanks Odin, I keep questioning if I made the correct decision so its nice to have a back up that I did. You are correct a few plants gone is not a very high price for some peace of mind. When you think about it, it sure is pretty silly that my whole life and family could be destroyed over a plant that does so much good and almost no bad except the bad the man brings on you.. Thanks so much for the comments and advise.

Thanks blackbeast, I appreciate the comments, it makes me feel a lot better about getting rid of the ladies and my stash. Its still hard to look at my empty garden but I am sure it was the correct decision.. Thanks again...

Thanks OMM I agree family always come first. And I can always rebuild I have the technology... Maybe someday in the near future It will all be different, but in the mean time better safe than sorry and I could have been really sorry... Thanks again...

Man Sonzor, I can't tell you how angry I get when I think about the possibility of loosing my fam. due to a stupid law that was designed by ignorant minds. Damn it! Sorry for your loss brother, you did the right thing.
