Our Ongoing Grows

hmm good fast finishers, purple power from dutch passion, big heavy smelly buds in 7 weeks, i really like that one its a 50/50 good daytime smoke, have you tried any autos?

when you say 7 weeks, is that from seed? or from flip.

im starting to see a bit of competition between these two terms now and im begining to think that 'from seed' is much better. you cant really use the old term for new auto's but you can use the new term for reg plants cos you can always add the amount of veg time too it that you choose =)

i am utterly into fast finishers. where i live its not just a preference its a survival trait :rofl:

its one of the reasons i keep going back to fastbud2...tastes like diesel and ready in 5 weeks. job done!

if i do dabble in hydro again im thinking of flood and drain tables racked and stacked like giant bookshelves using somethink like a 150watt hps at point blank range on a rail to up the gpwatt.
i honestly think i could grow around 120 plants per 600 watts like that. all ready in 5 weeks...yeehaw!

Well I was hoping for some pics DANG! Got 'em!!! Beauty as always...

I can't get enough of looking at those pics! Got note charts signed by two different docs. Went to clinic yesterday (your recommendation), and as I expected, I was prescribed my card. The big OR gets their $ today. Little confused as to what to do with the stuff they gave me other than what the state gets. I'll call em today. Went to WA and got more of an education about being a card holder as well as what equipment I am getting. Time to really get it in gear now. Will be changing my user id to something better. See you soon bro.

Buds look amazing! Nice clear pics brother and sister grower ;) Bet you will really enjoy that bubblelicious...been one of my favs for years. A new favorite is Vantage :cheertwo:

I'll tell ya Th, I wish it smoked as well as it grew. To me the strains a disappointment. Even tastes great. Just no legs least the method I grew her in.
Just a reminder to some, I grow in Soil, Black Gold. Works good enough for me. And it comes at a pretty reasonable price. I pay like 10.99 for 2 cubic foot bags. I do amend my soil with some organics, blood/bone meals, Extreme Gardening's Mycro's, a pinch of earthworm castings followed with a dab of bat crap, and a dusting of greensand, and done. Least till flower. I need to find something better in the slow release department. Seems some of my plants lack something during the start of transition into bloom. The plants always grow out of it. We have some great drinking water here, but the extremely low ppm from the tap, that robs alot of the goodies from the plants. I also use 10 mills per gallon of cal-mag. My fert's are Thecnaflora and some of the tripack from Foxfarm. Open sesame, beasty blooms and cha ching, for when they need that extra fuel in the flowering stages. I've use blood/bone meals in about every garden I've ever grown. But I'm hoping this greensand might help. Alittle info on it.
Greensand is one of the oldest and most generally useful tools in the organic gardening tool box. Greensand has been used since the eighteenth century as a soil amendment and slow-releasing fertilizer (0-0-3). It is one of the best certified organic sources of potassium.Greensand is derived from naturally occurring Iron-Potassium Silicate and is mined from deposits of minerals that were originally part of the sea bed. It comes from sandy rock or sediment containing a high percentage of the mineral glauconite (greenish-black to blue-green). It contains potash, magnesium, iron, silica and can contain as many as 30 other trace minerals. The recommended usage is to broadcast 50 to 100 lbs. per 1,000 square feet. It improves plant health in general and is also be used to loosen heavy, clay soils. It will also improve the moisture retention of sandy soils
Bid I looked the strain over. Looks like it might be workable. Auto's yes I've grown afew strains. Here's a pic of some White Russian auto I did acouple years back. Stoney herbs and she also had a fantastic yield for a auto;
Low_2.JPG

Has anyone grown out that Freedom-35 from Dr Geenthumb I think. That vendor has some cool strains. I hear alot about Endless Skies. But I myself never sampled any. Man now that we get genetics from world wide, the choices are endless.
Thanks Buckshot. It great that we have such a photogenic plant that we enjoy to grow. One thing about a herb plant, she's never camera shy.
Well my Bubblelicious seed cracked in just over 24 hours and right now she's above ground and showing her first set of leaves. Man she took off fast. I have her in with my clone tray under a 2' T-5's in the closet, in the flower room. It's alittle to cold to put her out in the office till she grows alittle bit. I'm also thinking of starting acouple other new strains for my seed stocks. First off, I'm looking at a World of Seed's, Afghan Kush Special. Might be a good one. And one I've grown out before. Loved it but I didn't clone it last time. Just happens I have 1 more seed tho, Kandy Kush from Reserva Privada. They use to throw freebies of her around abit back.
I hear ya GiG. You know if you have a early finisher, alot of time they finish faster than auto's. I'd love to try a flip over of alot of smaller plants just to create a stock pile of med's. Like 50-60 clones of something like Vantage. 50 days later you might get 1 1/2 oz's per plant. I'm going to have to take a peek at Fast Bud. I can see you been growing them Auto's alot. When you start talking finish from seed. To a non auto flower grower, that seed start date is of least concern. But now I can see it with auto's. I tell ya speaking of auto flowering, I seen abit ago Mody Dick Auto was rated real high in High Times top ten. One auto I wanted to try is that Iranian from Dr Greenthumb. I still have afew auto flowering strains in my seed stock stash box. I might dig one up. Hell I have a friend just starting to grow,,,,,,, jk. Not. Hell a Auto wood be perfect for a newbie to start with.
I see your coming right along ll. Pretty soon we have to sit and sort out what equipment you've aquired. Going to sit and dial out what you going to grow. Sounds like you are legal. Man I still rememeber the first 'Legal' Canabis Card. 1996. I had the card numbered 35 Man that's was a high in it's own rights. Ever think you wood have a card thats says you can legally grow and use herbs? I mean who is they that say we shouldn't use a plant to work on our medical problems 'ATLEAST'. Hell use in it general. Well it's going to happen in the next few years. Congradulations on scoring your card. :thumb:
Well A-1 I'm sure going to find out. I have her in my clone room for afew days. Least till she's big enough to handle the cold in my office. But we are fixing to find out. I found it intresting that the strain came out of Indiana. People might not know this, but before WWll, we use to import our hemp and jute from places like the Philippines. Well Japan put a end to that. Rope, rubber are both high on the list of natural resources needed for war. Well just about for anything. I know Dow Corning probably working over time for a subsitute, but anyways, the goverment started a rebirth in hemp agriculture. Indiana was one of the states they used. Seeing hemp and corn like the same growing conditions. Match made in heaven. I rememeber hemp plants growing over there in the creek banks that were 18' tall. Even growing up thru the rocks on railroad tracks. Shit was everywhere. TONS of small SEEDY buds. Smoking it will just give you a headache. They gave it a name of IDW. Indiana Ditch Weed. Well I just think its great someone from there worked out a great strain. Once I took a baggie of seeds I aquired in Cali, and spread them out in the spring in a wild hemp field. I never made it back to see what happened. I though it might be nice to add alittle something-something to the hemp genetic pool. Hey maybe we have some good Columbo/IDW cross plants growing on a stretch of railroad tracks back in the Mid West.
Hey GT. Man sorry I haven't gotten by your grows for abit but I'm going to catch up tonite. I'd imagine things are growing like aweed.
Well everyone, that's it for abit. Time to turn and water the girls. Started flushing the Cripit tonite. In the next 2-3 days it's time to start flushing my first Vantage off the line. Man I'm ready for a change of taste. I hope everyones doing great out there and their gardens are green and growing. Keepem Green

Drive by! :ciao:

Good info on the green sand. I've used it with house plants. I love that you added to the IDW genetic pool a bit. Hope you are well! :thumb:

Hey Sprout. Got your bud factory rolling as usual, I see....still don't know how you keep up with it all. Someday, I hope to be like you and look at a plant and know exactly how to treat it. I got a group about ready to go out. Tomorrow with be training day for em. Sure glad you taught me that early...going to turn them into bushes. :yummy:

Next year, when it turns cold....You and Miss J should head over here for a while!:bravo:

Great Bill, I got ton's of crap to keep ya busy. Lets see, house needs painting trees need trimed and and and. Jk I'll be at at 6 to pick ya up.
Yea Xlr I wonder if that help the local headache weed. I'll tell ya, those plants grew like crazy. The tallest I seen myself was 18'. Thing had a stalk on her bigger than my leg. Me being a stupid ass punk kid, harvested like 50 pounds and took it to Cali. I though it had to be worth something. It was, I got caught with a qb in my britches. Long story short, I got sentenced to a year in the county jail at the age of 17. I lied about my age, so I could smoke. I'll tell ya, a 17 year old punk kid had no bissiness in Santa Rita in 1978. Good thing I have alot of Bro's that ride 'Red and White'. So least I had afew homies in there to watch my back. That place rocked and rolled. I'm no angel myself but that was a ruff county jail. I'd rather be in Pelican Bay than Alameda County jail.
Hey Pop's. You can't grow wrong by making a nice bush by vegging it alittle longer and toppings. I know once my confedience levels got up there I started topping the second set of leaves. That really keeps the first fork close to the ground. I'm looking forward to seeing ya crank out some more med's. Hey you never know it still might be on for a trip this year. Hey do me a favor Pop's I need someone to water my plants while I come vist. JK.
Fast update,,,,,,, well 24 hours later and both the AK Special and the Kandy Kush both threw out a tap root allready. It took around 36 hours for the Bubblegum. Here we go 24 hours old and growing;
seed9.JPG

Ok here's a pic of the the Vantage. She went in flower on the 11/23. I also wanted to try growing afew plants with minimal veg time to see how this plant wood do in a Sea of Green. It seems to like being a multi branched plant. I limited the amount of tops to 4 per plant for this time. Next I'll try acouple without topping at all to see if she makes any larger main cola's. Here's the 4 smaller ones;
v19.JPG

Ok here's the larger one I have in flower, Vantage;
v_plant.JPG

and this is a closer up shot of it's Buddage;
v_bud.JPG

Ok just acouple more Cripit's. I wonder where this rouge pollen came from. Maybe that Berkley Blues. I've never ever seen a seed from Cripit. And I've never seen any signs of hermie in her. But it sure looks like a seed to me;
seed_2_.JPG

and a seedless one;
c_2_3.JPG

Ok here's a favorite of mine. I only grew it out once before but I loved the bag appeal. Smell to die for and tastes great. Typical Haze effects with the herbs as in 'up' high. Whitch makes great daytime smoke. Super Lemon Haze;
SLH104.JPG

Ok one last pic. I don't think I've every had a bud shot of this on here. Fact the first time I ever grew it period. Moby Dick;
md1.JPG

Well thats it for a minute. Hope everyone is happy and heathy out there. Keepem Green

Hey Bid. Damn that shit has everything in it AND the kitchen sink. I just looked at the list even Uranium. Cool I always wanted to see some new colors in my plants. Hey looks perfect for a amendment in anyones soil grows. I'm going to try it. And looks like it's cost effective also, which is a major plus. Cripit has always been a very stable plant. I've never seen signs of hermie in it. But then so has the Berkley Blues, and look what she surprised me with. Well I'll bag and tag the seed for future grows. Well Here's a Cripit at day 53 I think. I have 4 in there and 1 I placed in flower afew days before the others. This looks like it. Cripit;
Cripit28.JPG

Well I started flushing the Cripit and the Vantage. I've been using clearx, but I bought a jug of some Grotex flavored flush to try out. Cripit is ready anytime to harvest. Well truthfully I started flushing her yesterday. But Vantage I started flushing tonight. Well I flush I make my solution almost double their recommended strength. I let that soak in for around a half hour then I flood with tons of water. I run about 5 gallons thru each plant the first night. Then I water till atleast acouple gallons leach out every night till harvest. Seems to work fine for me. Weed sure has a clean taste after this. No harsh fertilzertastes atall.
Well the Vantage is on day 50. One thing I like about posting here on a site is you can always go back and look up info about your past grows. And I forgot how long I flowered the last flips I did, but this one needs afew more days. I'm think around day 56. I did cut a sample bud. Anyways I got acouple pic's of her, Vanatge on the hoof;
v_5_.JPG

And here's what I cut for a sample;
v20.JPG

And acouple close ups of her 'sparkle' like I say 5-6 more days. She mostly cloudy with one or two ambers thrown in;
v_3_.JPG

v_4_.JPG

Ok here's the two Vantages I'm planing on producing seed with, the shorter of the two is the one I've been treating with that spray. No sign's of flowers yet. I started spraying this one on the 6th. The other is just one I'm going to flower close to the he/she in hopes of catching some of the pollen. Hopefully I can collect enough to pollenate afew other bud's in the garden. Well heres that experiment;
babies53.JPG

Ok Pop's and GMT1975 both recomended this plant. Moby Dick. Not sure how long shes been in but shes a beauty allready. I love how 'sharp' the cut's in the leaves looked. Nice manageable plant, least this one is, I treated her to a drink of that Bush Masters when I transitioned her into flower. Moby Dick;
md4.JPG

And I have a White Widow going in there. She's going to be alittle harder on the trimmer, but them sugar leaves are really starting to pack on the sugar. Real pungent smell to her. I had this plant outside in the office under a 20/4 hour regiment. But she insisted on flowering like a auto so who am I to arguee? I'm pretty sure it was a regular seed but she definitely wanted to flower. She stands about 18 inch tall. Petite little plant. How could I decribe her,,,,,,,, 'cute'. White Widow;
ww99.JPG

And I threw a Cheese variant from Green House in. She wants to reach atad for the sky. I guess she's one that could've used a second douce with Bushmasters. Or maybe acouple foliar applications of it. Cheese;
cheese36.JPG

Hey I enjoy watering my plants. I mean I under stand you doing alittle experimenting, but myself, what else really do I have to do but my little garden. I turn my babies 2-3 times a night even though my lites are on rails. Now that's boredom. All good tho
Well I got three new sprouts up above ground, Bubblegum, Ak Special, and a Kandy Kush. I've also threwsome seeds I bred earlier from a cross of Special Queen, from Royal Seeds, and a Bubba Kush father. I tried growing out one of these earlier to no avail. I used pollen I had collected and stored in the garage just wraped in foil for afew months. Last seed I tried cracked fast but petered out after about 4 or 5 days. I figure I didn't store the pollen properly. Sure could've been. Well that's about it from the Dog House. Hope everyones gardens are green and Keepem Green

Gorgeous buddy - which Cheese do you have again of theirs? Exodus Cheese? That's one I want to grow soon, personally - I have a seed, it's supposed to be the real-deal cheese in seed form. We'll see! I have a Pineapple Chunk of theirs too that has Cheese in it, I'm itching to grow.

Thanks Miwa,Vic, GT, and Xlr8 good to see ya again. Same old same old ya know. Same gardens just different strains. And I feel like a idiot. I was looking in on my clones I'm starting and made a big mistake,,,,,,, left two small seedling pots one with the AK Special, one i really wanted to grow out, and the other Kandy Kush, on the side bar ontop my seedling tray heater. Fried them bugger by the next morning for sure. Least the Bubbleious is fine. Pissed me off. Oh well'
Hey GT I post these pic's just for your personal eye candy. Naw but glad you all enjoy them. Tonite I took acouple more pic's of mainly trichrones. Big Difference between the shapes and sizes of different strains tric's. Take that Vantage sample I cut the other day. She's got long stalks, suporting medium sized heads, compaired to like Cripit. I also got some shots of for the compare. This pheno seems atad different. Looks like it's going to go the 8 weeks to be all it can be. But here's what she's got;
Vantage_3_.JPG

vantage_2_2.JPG

vantage23.JPG

Now Cripit. This plant is on day 56. She has a total different structure than the Vantage tric's short stubby stalks supporting rather large heads. I love the look of these babies. I could do a whole photo album of her alone. Here's the bud I took tonight;
c_3_.JPG

And here's afew close ups of that bud;

Might as well look atad closer;

Has everyone ever noticed, you always seem to see a hair on your photo's? Well seems around here if you zoom in close enough, you'll find one;
hair2.JPG

And what really pisses me off is I'm the one lossing my damn hair around here, but 90% of the shed hair around here is Miss J's and shes still got hella thick ass hair.
I just burnt acouple dubies so bear with me. Ok I got a sick ass pic of some of those Cyrstals growing on another Cripit. I'm more than likely got to throw her in a closet tomarrow before the nights come back on. Check out the pileup of crystals on them curled up leaves. Sic. 8 weeks in and I'm thinking 36 hours cold and dark before harvest. HPS isn't the best for lights;

.
Well for now that's it from here. I'm getting ready to start a Fruity Chronic I guess. After my seed loss. Pisses me off. That was two sweet sounding strains. BTW I have grown the Kandy Kush, loved it. Sad I didn't clone her last time but.......... Also have some what I'll call bag seeds from a earlier grow. Oh well that's another story. But for now and if I missed anyone I'll be back tonight,
till then Keepem Green
