That bud sure looks good! Hard to trim... yeah... I forgot about that and ordered 20 seeds a few months ago! Oye...

I've had some BD (Blue Dream) seeds for a while now.. guess its time to get crackin...

Thanks peoples for stopping in.. Razorback here Canna rust,, you and BigNugz are welcome anytime.. I'm from Stuttgart, Arkansas that is.... Around here,,, 1800 is going price for a pound.. Unless your dealing with like 10-15 pounds at a buy.... Oregon has the cheapest prices per hightimes transmarket prices,,, and has been the cheapest for years and years. Ofcourse prices are kind of BS, but is a way to guess the tempitures of the nation..

I don't do near as much defoliating as alot here do.. As she flowers,, I pull leaves as needed. But I do lolly pop mine alittle. I prune as needed more so than as when I throw them into flower.. I stand above mine and take leafs that cover bud sites... If I'm getting short on leafs,,, I just tuck them outta the line of site... I believe leafs are the power plant of your plants... Anyone ever want to find out,,, just take a topped place on your plant,,, cut the leafs off one side and leave the other side alone,, I'l bet ya the side with more leafs will overgrow the other.... Rest my case... But it does work,,, I've done both... Now outdoors,,, I'll never take a branch unless it's totally white from growing the in e center without light..
Tell ya the truth Brightlights,,, so far I'm totally unimpressed with the CBD pot so far.. As far as the buddage,,, it's super sticky,, and has a great oder,,, but I felt nothing.......... I do have a real high tolerance, but I do 'catch a slight buzz' off most herbs... Hell I might giggle at Family Guy even,,, but the CBD did nothing for me... Miss J said she has to think about it,, but it 'might relax' her... I'm going to hook u my friend that has cancer to see what she thinks... Hey if it works for someone,, I don't want to Jade anyone... Who knows... But all my life,, I've been looking for Stronger pot,,, not weaker.... They say this Purple Orange strain runs 5%thc/10%cbd. Now this shit hasn't cured at all... From the little I know about CBD's is that THC degrades into CBDs. But it's all new to me... I'm not growing weed for children with seizures. I'm looking for a pot that gets ya REAL stoned..... I understand the need,, and IF that was what I was looking for,, but it isn't. I'd rather get loaded and forget about pain,, than hope a new 'drug' being CBDs, works.. Of course I'm fixing to try it.. I have a Critial Mass CBD almost finished flowering.. 1 more week?? But so far,,, she doesn't rate much in my eyes... Now that Black DOG is a different story.... She hasn't cured whatsoever,, but I roll a typical biker joint... Single size.. Like .6 a gram.... Like said,,, I don't get high easily.. I can smoke that whole joint to the head,,,, and catch a mild buzz... This is off just about any pot out there... I've smoked as high as 30% flowers,, tested from the 'stores'.. Same.... But I did smoke a smaller joint,, .5 maybe,,, and smoked twice with a giggle both times during Family Guy.... I just tryed afew tokes of the KushBerry atop,, kind of felt a slight rush.. WOW... But I blame that on the Black DOG. Now don't ask me what she tastes like or even smells.. I can't judge that myself,, or Miss J for that matter.. I call it growers block.... After awhile,,, it all seems the same.. Least to me.. Now IF I sat and did a blow by blow,, with my little smell charts,, I might be able to help...

Once more,,, thanks all... I'll update in abit... Isn't alot happening right now... Cept that Big Tooth... I do have 4 more ondeck... Skywalker, Kosher, Louis, in the Kushes... The $1800. a lb. is that for indoors? Is that the vending price TO the collective??? I know you cant buy a lb from a collective of indoors for $1800. or can you??. Id say thats the wholesale price to the collective for indoors and that means outdoors is $1000.-$1200. a lb??
I went to a pot convention here 5yrs ago here and collective owners across the state were there. I asked some people from LA what the prices are to vend and they said $2200.-$2400 for good indoor and $1400.-$1600. for outdoor.
I was just curious.

Thanks Spookie.. Was a big loss to me,, but also to the 420 Community. Not sure if you knew Pop's, he's not really been posting for awhile,, but he was a great reader, writing, not on the grows all the times,, but he was a good man.

Well I was looking at a bud of that Black Dog,,, kicking it around and ended up taking a pic or two; nothing good but is one interesting one.
Well here's acouple;

this ones cool... If you look, thats the bottom of small leaf curled up around the bud.. Looks like a spiderweb of trichomes welded it to the bud. Like an alien cupped around the bud. All I can say is this shit has MORE than it's share of trichomes. The little dry samples I sent out,,, all loved it.. Daytime smoke... I was going to cull her if it wasn't special and I haven't sampled for real yet. Guess I need a pipe..

Ok I cut that Blue Dream,,, No I don't have more of the same looking pics of her,, but I was talking to CHH tonight, and his convo led me to remember earlier I had a freak sprout... Twins,, it was from the Blue Dream. Two plants from one seed. I seen others have that,, Was Pop's one? Godspeed did I know. Damn he's been gone forever... Well I scraped abit of dirt away from her to see whats what;

Tomorrow I'll throw the some dirt away and get a pic of underneath. Should be interesting. Twins.....

I read the news on OMM earlier and have been pretty upset even though we all kinda knew the time was gettin' close. It's been a tough week for a lot of my friends. One just lost his 15 month old grandson who was healthy and died in daycare totally unexpectedly.

Coming to your journal and reading the great news on Ms. J and seeing your beautiful Black Dog buds has made a world of difference in cheering up my day, so and +REPS!!!

If you're half as healthy as your buds look, I'll be able to stop worrying about you, too!!!

Yea Mister Krip,, was a sad thing.. As soon as I seen CHH's second call... I knew. Yea damn WTF is going on with Old Timers anyways????? Yea the last ouple times I talked with him,, I could hear it. Yea it pained me too.. I felt honoured having known the man.. Everyone says least now hes not in pain,, I agree.. When problems start to out weight the good things.. I don't want to be around... But no worries here.. I'm still growing my weeds.. Besides I think there is one or two strains I haven't grown yet.. And I'm going to grow everyone..... Man they have like 4 or 5 new breeders since I last shopped for seeds.. I best get busy.. This might take awhile at 10 strains a grow.. And while I'm at it,, I'm going to find that 'Perfect 10'.............

Well,,, waiting on the new stock from Brother Grim. Hopefully, the C-99 is close to the original. After all the good I've heard over the years..and fool me didn't get ahold of it. But that could be a good thing,,, if they improved it, like they claim.

Prices.. I ould find out easy enough.. But if I called a product 'top shelf' 1800 is cheap. If they are getting 35$ a 1/8,,, I woodn't cut mine loose for less than 1800 a pound. Now it depends on the rop.. Mid's,,, are alot cheaper, and crap weed,, might as well cook it down...

Up-potting a Candy, a Black DOG, and a Skywalker tonight. My nursery is out of my regular organic mix. Last time I tried a Dr. Earth or something... Naw,, I'm glad they had something else,,, stuff has zip in the way of drainage. Bearly had any perlite in it either.. Compacted alot after afew waterings. But they did have 'Black Gold Potting Soil'. I'm happy for that. Or I was going to get a bale of Pro-Mix. But I have a wheel barrel amended, mixed and ready. They are slightly larger than my usual, so I'm using 'larger' 5-gallon pots. If that makes sense.. I swear some #5 are smaller than others.. But after the amendments, I like to do the first watering with an inocuation of Actinovate'. Another good bacteria... Alot of fungus starts on weak plants.. Bugs, and funguses love a weak plant. They are like a shark smelling blood.. Even being a airborne attack, they can have their way with a sick plant..

This one,,, Big Tooth,,, is at 68 days..S he looks to have afew more to my eyes... She's still putting out alot of new flowers.. Even if they are fox tails.. They are stacking up. Trichomes are almost all cloudy.. She's been on molasses for 4-5 days now. Very irregualar buds. Cold ugly ass buddage;

you are the first person i heard mention the Actinovate. I had some really sick plants, like botrytis through the roots. It was making my plants sterile, as in it would bud but there would be no hairs and no trichomes and no smell. Kinda looked like a hermie but it wasnt. Well the Actinovate started clearing up my garden and now im on the good side of things. I was afraid i would lose everything. Oh, and i have four UltraDogs about 6 days old and looking decent. Happy Growing.

Cannaruss, I had something like that happen afew months back and couldn't figgure it out. Buds wood devolope,, without hair or smell,, or trichomes.. Kind of looked like seeds.. But was just hard seed pods. I wood start on the lower branches and work up. I figgured some kind of mold. You could've hit it on the head.. I was out of actinovate. I like to drench with it at transplant. I haven't had any problems inside.. I had bought it for my outdoor girls that get bud rott almost every year.. But what you said kind of rings a bell..

Thanks Spookie.. It is one sticky ass SOB.. I have to say this,, even tho I've never done it, or seen done, is that swishing buds for concentrates. But I woodn't doubt if that Black DOG wood out produce most strains.. Damn near have to smoke it in a pipe.. If you squeeze it it turns in a rock.. Pretty good pot if i do say so..

That poor clone.. I cut is after a week in flower so she's doing the reveg thing.. But you can see I took it during it's stretch mode.. She's alittle confused right now,, but I have long term plans for her.. If her mothers a winner like the last was,, and if this Blue Dream is good, I've got a cut going from her,, I want to do the room in a Sea of Green.. Half and half..I hate doing only two strains tho.. I get bored with the same old same old... But spring is getting close... Mid April I'm going to start my auto's.

But I've always liked them clay pots. Cept for breaking... But it was there handy. And was alittle taller than the others around..When I see these clay pots I see a single little flower like a daysie or something growing outta it on a window sill..

To comment on the DBD deal. I found that THC is a REAL med... the rest of the "profile" is icing. The stronger the THC the better and less pain I get and that's over time as well.

The Black Dog is super potent,, least my friends all love it... Like said small yield,, I got under 4 ozs off her.. Very loud smell... Super sticky.. You need to leave it out for a half a hour after grinding just to get it to burn in a dubie form... Otherwise you gotta pipe it.... The sugar leaves are so covered with trichomes,, you won't want to trim them...
Ok acouple transplants going on. First is a Blue Dream. I use them Mikcos and the Actinovate at this time...

I also started 3 super autos from Flash. Another Muay Thai, a Chaze, and a Number One... I have afew cuts getting rooted of the Crippled Rino from Stoney Girls for outdoors in the cloner along with a Black DOG for future...

Mikos and actinovate? If I use new soil every time, I shouldent have to worry about that??

Mikcos and actinovate are some of the good microbial in soils... The actinovate is a bacteria that eats dead and rotting roots which can cause a plant to get weak,, thus it can get infected with bugs or molds,, used as a dench... The Mikco is a bacteria that promotes thick heathy roots.. The mikco is granular and is sprinkled in the transplant hole so that they come in contact with the roots... I am the worse speller here's a link;

They aren't necessary. Most soils already have them added... One thing about using these benificails is that alot of salt based fertilizers will kill off alot of them... I never use fertilizers in the veg stage myself... Except organics ammendments.. These promote the growth of them.. GL and Keepem Green

Fast update.... A Red Lickertease from Dr Krippling. Flowered 9 weeks under a 1500 watt hps light. Pretty plant for sure.. I really liked the last,, and most everyone did.. Kind of a sleepy type pot... Not the biggest yield but workable;

i tend to have leafs like that indoor due the cold winters here and i put my heating lower for colors like that. i really like it....
