How much light you got going in that roomTook me awhile to get back into the swing again of growing after my divorce. First couple of crops were terrible. I went back to basics and this is the result. Nordel is the plant you see and I have some Harlisue growing in that room as well. ALL high CBD

Man that sucks.. Pop's,, OMM died today.. Man he's been a friend forever. One of my oldest friends on 420. Well it is sad,,, he was getting on and having medical problems even getting his breath. I imagine that wood suck,, not being able to get air. But he's in a better place. But I just want to tell Him he will be missed.... Keepem Green my Friend

Thanks Spookie.. Was a big loss to me,, but also to the 420 Community. Not sure if you knew Pop's, he's not really been posting for awhile,, but he was a great reader, writing, not on the grows all the times,, but he was a good man.
We was homies, both from Arkansas [><] course he was alot mellower a redneck than I am... That man been around the world abit.. Didn't he get busted in Greece? Hash or something.... We've all done stupid shit. I was hoping he'd have been able to get back on the PC for abit,,,, dam... Least for a last kicking around.... But I know he's better off now. Something I believe, if it's isn't your time,, you won't die.. Jump in front of a train and get cut in half,,, wasn't your time,, you stuck,, as half a man the rest of your life.. Makes sense,, when it is,, it is. I'm glad his was before he got to bad and wasn't corrent, and needing total help. I know he was close.. But I also believe,, as long as a person is remembered,,, he's not gone...
Well I was looking at a bud of that Black Dog,,, kicking it around and ended up taking a pic or two; nothing good but is one interesting one.
Well here's acouple;
this ones cool... If you look, thats the bottom of small leaf curled up around the bud.. Looks like a spiderweb of trichomes welded it to the bud. Like an alien cupped around the bud. All I can say is this shit has MORE than it's share of trichomes. The little dry samples I sent out,,, all loved it.. Daytime smoke... I was going to cull her if it wasn't special and I haven't sampled for real yet. Guess I need a pipe..
Ok I cut that Blue Dream,,, No I don't have more of the same looking pics of her,, but I was talking to CHH tonight, and his convo led me to remember earlier I had a freak sprout... Twins,, it was from the Blue Dream. Two plants from one seed. I seen others have that,, Was Pop's one? Godspeed did I know. Damn he's been gone forever... Well I scraped abit of dirt away from her to see whats what;
Tomorrow I'll throw the some dirt away and get a pic of underneath. Should be interesting. Twins.....
I know I'm going to get spanked for this, but I did promise Pop's I wood play a song for him when he died. Alot of people like this song for the same reasons. Rebirth... and moving on... I've got a drink for ya and a fat dubie..... Fly away;

Jgrowlove....take a look at Top Dawg. Pricey but likely the top Chemdog breeders in the world. That's all they've worked on for years. Regs. only. South Fork also has good Chem rep. Authenticity is also an issue with Chemdogs. Many say they have it but often questionable. IG is helpful...good breeders actually tell how, when, where, from whom they got cut. If you want fems, again not many. Despite the flak Cali Connection takes, I think highly of its 91. He has D & 4 as well. CC Deadhead is close since SFV is very similar to Chems. Loud's Headband I liked too...also a 91 & SFV male. DinaChem used Top Dawg genetics & is decent. My next Chem exploration will be CSI Humboldt's Pirates of the Emerald Triangle Chem 91 F1's w/ Pak. Chitral Kush. Good luck.

I like the height of the plant going into flower. Mine are almost that size and should be in 11 days when I flip. My grows are so good thanks to my friends at 420!!!!!

Its only my 2nd indoor grow but read 1.5"-2" ? If theyre 2' before March 7 then flip then.
Im running 3gal pots Jgrow. Their was barley any root bound with my last harvest with 3 gals. My first tent harvest could of been twice as big but would of been maxed out. First crop was 8 and Ive got 14 this time, what fun!! Im going to defol some oday and take pics!! Ive got some Indicas that are BEAUTIFUL!!!!~~

Pot size,,,,,, well if I'm going to have a larger plant,, per say that Blue Dream, with should yield around 10 oz's,, I like 5 gallons. But depends on the plant. I've had 1-foot tall plants that max my room's height by harvest.. Others like that Black DOG,, if she went into flower at 12 inches,, she'd come out at 14". The larger root mass,, the bigger and better buddage your going to get. But you don't need to big,, remember the plants only going to be there 3 months tops. And you can use to large a pot.. It's just a waste of monies,, dirt, fertilizers, and a pain to move around. Now every once in awhile I do a SOG,, then I use 1-gallon pots
I'm getting lazy in my old age,, so I flower mine smaller anymore. 16" for the first time with a strain.. After that,, you'll know what ya got to work with. That dictates the size at which I flower. That Blue Dream I know what I have and just what she'll do in flower. But that is about as big as I like inside. Height doesn't make a plant for sure... It's the main colas that give the weight... Acouple, three toppings and I throw them in..
Here's a first time grow. That Big Tooth from Franco at Strain Hunters.. I hear he died... Bummer... Greenhouse Seeds.. They got real commercialized, but still did alot with genetics. But I really don't like the plant. Shes way over 9 weeks in and starting to look close. Foxtails and foxtails;;

Thanks you guys. I use 5 gallons with most of my plants indoors and just started having issues with height. Got plants taller than where my light is and they are only 3-4 weeks in flower. Maybe because I put them in flower at around 2 feet tall. Maybe they blew up so fast because I had them in 2 gallon pots for 3 months of veg before I flowered them idk. I'm tryna organize my grow space and my plants are getting too big for the space I got. 10 oz seems like alot for a 5 gallon bt I believe u NCW. I would love to get close to that number with my HSO blue dream!!!

I love what you are doing so im finally gonna sub up, plus im from Arkansas transplanted to Alabama (these pot laws suck) i wanna move soooo badly just need to save up and find a nice spot for me and the wife to settle. Love your growing Norcal, keep up the fine work.

Come to Seattle you will love it I promise that. Dispensary on ever corner and the market is so full of good meds that prices dropped like crazy. A lb is 1800 for quality strain specific meds.

On the pots....if the effective penetration of one's lights is determined, then can do the math to allow for light to canopy distance & depth of that penetration. I get real good penetration up to 30-36" so 2 gal. from start to finish works pretty well. If taller than that, sometimes bottom buds get a little spongey.

bignugz....I do clear the bottoms on average ~6" to 12"(for taller plants) but similar to how you describe your method....not nearly as much as I see others doing. If a lower branch shows early vigor, I'll keep it otherwise I will cut off lower laterals...usually the lowest pair, sometimes up one or two more. Depends on how plant grows. Yes I defol....a little at a time but numerous times as needed.
