Well I'm happy to say Miss J didn't get me in my sleep... I think its funny......
Fast update, the 6 I have ondeck. A week more maybe. They aren't going to fast. Cold outside. Even tho they are in a tent and kind of off the floor,,, the soil still gets cold period... Makes for slow growth and different nutrient uptakes. I think.. I have need of calcium with the Skywalker,, and more nitrogen with the Critical Mass CBD. But that will be all fixed with the transplant. Again I think. Here's the veg vent;

Hey Woods bro :)
I was talking with a mate whos being growing for a long time ,, we chatted about how plants feel he said some thing that really made me think :) If a plants has some thing scare it it could really afect the grow ,, well I always smoke inside my tent :reading420magazine:I used to like the idea of being able to blow carbon monoxide out an over there buds an leaves ,, apparently this can make any plant think there is a fire in there area an I was just wondering if you have any thoughts along this line of growing :loopy:I mean could my some times smoky lil tent make for a smaller harvest :)

I don't know myself Jaga. Stands to reason anything you burn produces alot of bad things. Here's a clip of a comparison between tobacco smoke and weed, Erowids Vaults,, great site for tons of information on about anything', has a read,

From: Institute of Medicine, Marijuana and Health, Washington,D.C.
National Academy Press, 1988

"The smoke from any burning plant contains hundreds of chemicals that may have biological effects . . ."

"Cannabis smoke is similar to tobacco smoke in that it is a mixture of very small particles and a gas-vapor phase. Both the particulate and vapor phases contain many identified and probably some still unidentified constituents that, based on clinical experience with tobacco smoke, must be assumed to be potentially harmful. The amounts of some materials in tobacco cigarete and marijuana cigarette smoke are compared in Table 3. Toxic substances, such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide, and nitrosamines occur in similar concentrations in tobacco and marijuana smoke; so do the amounts of particulate material known collectively as "tars"."

I did a fast read in just what we exhale when we smoke. I think if the plants could they wood run.... Not sure if this makes sense but shows all the same bad shit we get outta cigarette, is in a joint except the nicotine and one other. Very little co2. But I've been doing it all my life. Well I'm off to bed,,,, Keepem Green

Good little organic summary NCW. Many don't know how manures have so much salt. Some organic growers say flushing isn't needed in organic growing, but they overlook the salt content in organic ingredients, especially manures. Writer also makes a very good point when he says it's hard in organics to know exactly how much of a given nutrient to use. No sweat during veg period when super soils are rich in nutrients but tougher in bloom when you don't know how much of nutrients has already been used up by nutrient demands of all the different strains.
:thanks: :Namaste:

Thanks BL. I always use amendments to feed my plants thru veg stage, but I always found most of my problems in veg happen in the winter on the office floor. I always use earthworm castings, blood/bone meal mix, rock phosphate, afew others. This might be part of the reason. When it get like 40 outside, my soil drops to 60 degree, and under sometimes, when we get below freezing. That's with the tent closed. It does have it's back side up against the garage door.
I have to much time on hand I guess so I did alittle reading. Isn't alot happening here. First flowers are popping out. And I fed the veg tent with some GH Flora Nova and topped acouple for their last toppings. Now they have to recover and throw out acouple new leafs then they go in flower. I have acouple clones coming out too. A Blue Dream, and Black DOG are the two I want to keep in my tent for a minute, till I see how they come out. The Black DOG is a new one to me, and looks like she's going to be a dream to work with. Short spacing between nodes should make her a nice and easy to work with bush. I also have a Money Maker bush in there. So far she reminds me of the Incredible Bulk I just cut. Very similar. Well,, enough from the boring part of the grow. Buds aren't big enough to warrant a picture and either is the veg tent. Keepem Green

NCW, I might be over thinking this but I went to get a different bug spray that isent oil based due to me already using Aza/Neem. Because you said dont over use the oil cause you will clog the plants pores. I looked at Capt.jacks and the label dosent say for Aphids and its oil based so its out. I looked at Green Cleaner and its oil based too. My question is... is the green cleaner the same as AZA as far as being oil and will clog the pores too if used to much, or is the green cleaner a completely different oil based and a great 2nd remedy to go after the Aza/Neem?
My plan today is to get the green cleaner and a hand held 1/2 gal pump MISTER and use the Mister for indoors and my 1gal. pump sprayer I have just for the yard. Do I need the mister? Im thinking yes. Much better than a spray bottle and much better than my 1gal pump sprayer???
The aphid infested laundry grow looks much better!!! I need to go out and remove all the damaged leafs and spray again with something different. When I Aza/neem treated I did like 3 treatments in 10 days and its been 10 days since that treatment.
The F*^king Grow shop wants to sell it all. An electric Atomizer and God knows what else. They run around like theyre on dope with no time for you. Theres a grow shop downtown I might go to instead today. They asked me what ive been up ,too and I said waitin on Amber!!
So NCW, is the Green Cleaner oil base going to clog pores?
Do I need the 1/2 gal pump MISTER or will a spray bottle and or my 1gal. pump sprayer work too, just adjust the tip??
Thanks Wood!

I have one of the atomizers, man they work great on outdoor crops. Like a hurricane spraying your plants. Almost all sprays are horticulture oils. The green cleaner has alittle alcohol in it which helps it flash off leaving less residual on your plants. Works like a Safers Soap. Which has oils in it. But if you use these products at like 3/4 strength, they wash your plants. I like to use safers soap, wait afew, like 15 minutes, then rise it with straight water, which will wash the bugs off, and your plant will be happy and clean. The green cleaner does the same. As far as the sprayer,,,, for the smaller indoor plants I use the 1/2 gallon mister, outdoors,, I use the big guns. GL and Keepem Green

Well they stuck me with some dye and throw me in a cat scan today. I guess they are going to cut this damn node out pretty soon. And more tests while in there... Oh well life.............. Keepem Green

I heard that Lazyfish. I think it was someone you knew that had that shit in the neck and head.. I always knew my head was good for something.... Besides holding my hat up. I'm not sure how bad mine is,,, they don't either. But I send good vibes to your Grandmother. Hopefully she'll try out this new medication. Don't ask me if it helps,,, but its worth a try for sure.
I know I use that Captain Jacks every years for caterpillar control. And they lay claim it does alot more than that. But that is one for sure that will leaves leaves soft and supple. I've been using Captin Jacks every year the last 4, around the first of September, which works for worms come harvest the first week of Oct. You know, once you kill all these bugs off,, you don't ever want to over spray. That isn't good either... GL and Keepem Green

Wishing you well NCW through your medical treatments.

@4Dutchess......don't worry about spinosad & the pores. The usage is 2 oz. Capt. Jack per gallon. You won't even hardly know it's on the leaves after spraying. It will work on aphids. Or get the hand held pre-mixed small bottle to try it out.

:Namaste:

I swear bro I was gonna get Capt. jacks but read on Amazons reviews that if its not on the label then it dosent kill it and no where was Aphids written. Im sure it works on Aphids but wasent there so I got some G.cleaner and got that home and its pest list dosent include Aphids! Im sure it will work. I was just over thinking NCW's advice not to Aza too much because it clogs pores. Ive already noticed the AZA stays on the plant a while and others dont like Safer Cat spray. I just dident know most everythings all oil based of some kind. G.Cleaner is soy bean oil.
Im here now to say thank you NCW!!!! Thanks for all your help, knowledge, and effort you take into developing me into a master gardener!!! I cant wait till next year!!
I got me a 1/2 gal mister and spraying G.cleaner today. Harvesting too! Big Things!!!
Happy New Year NCW!!
