Getting ready for X=mas next month... Should be a good one with my crop coming out around the 1st. This is old pic, I was just looking at my old posts and figure I'll bring this back up... Don't ask me why??

Hey Nor I got a question for you.
I got a buddy who's battling the big C and right now I'm a few weeks away from having the product to make some RSO for him, in the mean time I suggested that he should start drinking a half cup of water each morning with baking soda (1/3 - 1/2 tsp) and lemon juice (2 tbs) added. I've read that if our bodies are alkaline (above 7.4ph) cancer cells can't live in our bodies.
My question is this, have your doctors measured your bodies ph to see if its acidic? Since a acidic environment is where cancer cells thrive, just wondering if I'm on the right track. Just lose my mom to cancer in April because the doctor didn't diagnose what was going on until it was to late to try anything other than what they finally did.

Hey, I 'm just getting a jump on it. Usually, I'm always late. I saw X-mas stuff around right after Holloween. That's sad. That was a pic, I have no earthly idea why I posted. Now I wonder how many decorations the Old Lady is going to want down out the attic this year. I know she just bought acouple laser lights for the front of the house. X-mas is way to commercial nowadays. Hell, some kids think X-mas is only about Santa. Times are changing. Things like Pledge Allegiance,,, come on. We need to be taught to love our country. God and guns made our Country. Our Second Amendment Right is a guarantee, for all our other rights. But I don't want to go there. But I guess it is to early. Besides, I got a harvest coming in before Christmas. And I have plants to ready to the next flip.
Raziel, I'm sorry I haven't a clue about the PH thing. A-Bird has probably given you the best thread around for questions on this subject.
I did have the Pet scan, and my lungs and guts look good. But the Ear Nose Throat guy thinks I might have a spot on my tonsil. Damn shows ya it pays to have these things removed. But Monday, I'll be going in for a closer look around, and come up with a treatment depending on what they find.
I don't really think I want any chemo. If it doesn't look good, f that. If it's really bad I'd rather not be sick all the time. But if they say I have a good chance, I'll listen and might even try the treatment. We'll see. If it's bad and they say I'm going to die or something, I'd rather not be any extra sick, for the remainder of the time.
Well, I'm going to be flushing my 8-Ball Kush in the next day or two so I'll get some pics up. She is a pretty bush and looks like 6+ oz's yield. Least me uneducated guess puts it at. Solid rock hard buddage. She's getting alittle brown out starting on the pistils. So I guess she'll be a just over 8 weeker. She's just now 50 days in. Cool,,, I just got some new strain seeds. Well, I'll update with pics soon. Till then,,, Keepem Green

Thanks, A-Bird. I always say, things will be as they should. But I have heard abit about the PH thing. Well my lazy ass hasn't brang the plants out for a walk for awhile. But I did get afew pics. First I want to show a problem I always deal with, Calcium;
Once you get them dots started on the leaves, even after correcting the problem, they remain.

I use Emilya's cal mag made from eggshells and vinegar,( and we all know vinegar lowers the PH, I have high (8) ) So I solve 2 possible problems in one.

You know A-Bird, I almost always use the granular bone meal when I'm preparing the soil. We have this ungodly low ppm of anything out the tap. NO calcium at all in my water. I've checked with them PPM pens and I regularly get under 20 ppm on tap. I add EWC, blood/bone meal, rock phosphate, myco's, and I just got some stuff called K-Mag. High in potash, and magnesium. And even with all that I have problems. I grow a wide variate of strains, each requiring something else in the food department. It never fails I get a deficiency. You start to see the gold colored dots on the leaves. Later in life these dots turn into something like a gall.... Golden bumps on the bottom of the leaves. Right now I use Cal-mag from Botanicare. But as soon as that gallon gone I'm going over to GH CALi MAGic or whatever its called. I'm using GH's FloraNova fertilizers. Ya Slim I ended up trying it... I kind of like it. I'll tell ya,,, it's an attack on your sense of smell in there. I have to move afew around to turn them and EVERY hair on my arms are sticky as hell. But my nose only picks up certain smells. Guess too many years of that old 'C-Caine' fried my nose. And man I have seen alot of that. ALOT..........
The Sensie Star, Skywalker Kush, Kosher Kush, and a Louie the 14th. All just got put on a paper towel for germination tonight. Now I have to find a decent heat source. I usually put them on top a T-5 light. But I don't have one going. And I just up potted 6 plants for the flower room. Lets see;

All of them are well under way to a veg plant. All have been topped. I like to top when you have the first single leaf, then a three leaflet, then I top. I don't top for fluxing. I work for a smaller bush. I like to top maybe 3 times per plant. And if you look back at the pic of the room, you'll see I don't do 'Alot' of defoliation. Only alittle lolly popping, and uncovering any buds that need it. I mean I do some defoliating, but I like to keep it as little as possible. God put them leaves there for a reason. They are the workhorse of the plant. Those big fan leaves??????? You'd be suprised what they do. It's you plants 'Power Plant'. Well I'm babbling..........................................

I found 3 of these in the last few weeks in the house and wonder if its cause of the weed Ive been trimming. If so, friend or foe??? I never seen them before.

If we could mix your tap w/ mine, we'd have some great water. Before the RO I was ~8 to 8.5 & ~400 ppm. Now w/ RO I have to pump the Ca but still got same "dots" on 1 plant. Not bad though. No more Mg def. for a long time since using the K-Mag. I see it sold as Sul-Po-Mag mostly....it's actually Langbenite a natural mineral. One of the best things I stumbled into. Oh man....gonna get excited watching you do some Sensi Star. I really liked the Louis XIII I just grew too....not just another ho hum OG.

It's for sure nothing you have to worry about. It's probably a friend that eats caterpillars. When your outside girls start to dry out, you might find afew worms dropping off as they dry. Happens........... Next year spray once 3 weeks before harvest with Capitan Jacks Dead Bug Brew. I haven't had a catterpiller since............ GL and Keepem Green

Hey, I was reading that a Boron deficiency could seem to be a cal/mag problem by preventing the plant from uptaking calcium. So my question is this, is that true and would it be easier to first start treatment for a boron deficiency then move to cal/mag treatments if it doesn't clear up with the boron treatment?
