Organic Grow - BC God Bud - Gods Gift - Blackberry Kush

You could give them a single feed of Miracle Grow (the blue stuff) to help darken that lime green in the new growth. I get that problem often with recently transplanted clones. The MG usually does the trick in about 3-5 days after that single feeding.

I'm curious as to why you would see any deficiencies at this early of stage?
I haven't been keeping up here, but yeah as Goose said if you just transplanted you can see funny things during the rebound period. In that case you usually supplement with B12 or you can use flowering nute during the transplant to strengthen the roots and reduce shock during the transplant. Also can use some of the Super Thrive growth hormone.. That seems to work for me. But I use these methods and don't seem to have any transplant deficiencies.

I'm sure they will turn around.. I bless all your plants :Namaste:

they will come around....they are building strong root systems at this stage right now. Don't make the mistake of over feeding them at this stage because that could stunt their growth. Be very patient. This is a really critical stage for your plants as they must have a well developed root system in order to flourish. They will snap out of it for sure if you take really good care of them and do not over feed or over water. They do look a little stressed for sure though. I would not give them any chemical fertilizers if it were me. I have made the mistake of over feeding on a number of occasions when I first got into growing years ago. I also always add a ton of perlite to my potting mix regardless of what brand it is. MJ roots need lots of oxygen to flourish.

I've never used Happy Frog.

Back in late July I bought a few 2.5 cu ft bags of their regular potting soil along with an equal number of bags of FoxFarm Ocean Forest when our local Tru-Value started carrying both for the first time and had both on sale for a really good price. I had run out of FFOF earlier in the month and hadn't wanted to drive all the way to Modesto just to buy some potting soil! ;)

The funny thing about the Happy Frog mix is that it literally LOOKS IDENTICAL to Ocean Forest! If I didn't know better, I would swear that both are mixed at the same mill and the only difference is the plastic bag it comes in! LOL! :laughtwo:

Seriously! If you are familiar with the physical appearance of Ocean Forest and ever pick up some Happy Frog, I am sure you will do the same double take that I did when I sliced open the bag! For a minute I thought I had opened the FFOF by mistake! :whoa: They look that similar! :laughtwo:

whats good S1970!!!
what do you mean a little wet?? they dry out for 6 days and they still have moisture in the soil!!! im not to fond of this FFHF!!! it doesn't dry out for shit!!! it holds the moisture forever!!! every week when I do the feedings IS the waterings!!! Its pissing me off!!! and now before I go to flower, I have to flush!!! now how the hell am I going to give them their first week of flowering nutes if I do a flush!?!?!?
:peacetwo:

Yeah, my (2) clones that are now a little over a foot tall were planted in 10 gallon containers.. I used a organic soil mix and added about 20 percent perilite.
It never goes dry either. The 2 inch finger test reveals a substantial moisture level after a week. So I have been watering those about every 7 days or so too.
I started with 1/4 dose of which amounted to 5-5-5 and then to 10-10-10. Now they started flowering and am now feeding a 10-30-20 1/2 dose so far, next dose will be full and will then start with my molasses every other feeding.
Plants are green as can be and are smiling (Knock on wood). But I do like the fact that I don't have to water as much..

I've never used Happy Frog. I just switched over to my own mix using Promix Potting & Container as the base. I started with FFOF then different combinations of OF and LW. The problem I've always had in the Air-Pots I use is they dry out so fast.

I know its a combination of the containers allowing more air to dry the soil, and the crazy root system and large plants being thirsty. But hey, mmj likes to dry out a bit between waterings so I've been dealing, it just sucks to have to water every other day. I'm considering a drip system of I could leave my garden for a few days if I had to.

I switched to the Promix base to see if it would hold a little more moisture. I guess the grass is always greener! Don't worry, I'm sure you won't be going that long between waterings when they get a bit bigger!

:Namaste:

Whats good FD!!!
Thanks for putting in your thoughts!!! yea the happy frog stays at a beautiful 6.5 pH so far that is the only thing that I like about it!!!

Looking nice brother curious on the yellowish myself

WHOW there buddy!!! this is an exclusive BLUE PLANET NUTRIENTS grow!!! I will not use anything except molasses at the end!!! nothing else!!! Thank you though for your input!!! it is always welcomed and appreciated!!!

I notice a purple tint on all the stems, that means something, not sure what, but you, need , to, check, it, out,.

Where the hell is my grow bible?

purple stems like that are caused by P or K def most of the time :D

Yea I know!!! what I didn't know was if they do that naturally cus the BCGB is showing the purple all the way through the veins!!! and I know that they are all purple strains so i just though that they are naturally supposed to do that!!! these are the first purple strains ive done!!! but yea I need to go get a nutrient tester from HD!!! Thanks for the heads up though!!!

Glad you jumped in BPN!!! I am not worrying to much about them!!! i'm keeping an eye on them!!! how can you see that they are stressed??? is that leaf thing??? its the only one doing it!!! BK is still recovering from going back to veg!!! and Gods Gift is starting to catch up to them!!!

DBM!!! that brings me to my next issue!!! which I will be posting as soon as I wrap up my replies box!!! but yea I can't stand when I cant feed, water, feed, water!!! I feel like I am over feeding them!!! but I dont see any harm at this moment!!!

:peacetwo: all!!!

Well, this is exactly why I read up on my friends' and others' grow journals of all different types....I have purpleish coloring on my plant, Jackie, as well, but only on the TOP side of the limbs that are the on the oldest, biggest, and usually the lowest, fan leaves....I think I see a ever-so-slight-hint of purple "veining" in her stalk, but it's so very faint, I'm not for sure, but I kinda think it really looks like that to me...I LOVE hearing about other's having the same issues, symptoms, needs, etc...on here. We all just have to pursue the knowledge, and put in OUR own work to find out what we need to, but it is all here for the taking....free knowledge!!! Come and get it!!! ( Dinner bell *ding *ding *ding in the background, lol!!!) Get it while it's relevant! lol

the BCGB has the stalk purple except for 1 part in the middle of it it is green with purple lines, then if you move some of the soil away from the stalk, you see green down there as well... I also thought about the fact that that plant is sitting in the path of the cold air intake fan!!! so I thought that could be another possibility of the purpleing!!!

:peacetwo:

Add some now! mix about a teaspoon with a gallon of water and feed to your plants next time you water or give them fertilizer. Basically, the molasses just gives the microbes in the soil something to eat (sugar) which will aid in the making the insoluble nutrients plant available.

about a teaspoon per gallon

Wow my bad!!! I just noticed that you said that in the beginning of the first post!!! LOL Valley Girl OG!!! if you ever have the chance to try it, TRY IT!!! its BOMB!!!
