Organic Grow - BC God Bud - Gods Gift - Blackberry Kush

You are totally correct astonr. MJ loves to have dry feet. not death valley feet but dry none the less. Once your root mass is well developed, your plant will have the power to suck up that soil moisture and the soil will get dryer much quicker. I recommend to just be patient and let the soil dry out...don't let it dry out so much that the leaves start to wilt, but get close to that point. They will most likely recover in a couple of weeks and then we can decide on how much to feed then. Take care buddy ;)

they look like they're getting better bro

I agree with Crimson.
ALso, see how some of the leaves are kind of curled under along the margins? That is an indication of over watering. Keep letting that soil dry out and back off on feeding for now and I think that they will keep recovering nicely :)

yea its now what 8 days now since the double up feeding!!! and it still has moisture in the soil!!! a lot!!! i shut the fans off for a little bit in the day just to let the heat build up inside for a little bit!!! then I kick on the exhaust for a few minutes, then push some more fresh air back in for a lil while, then fans off!!!

I concur.:bravo::Namaste:

Thank you for your chime in!!! I have been wondering where you have been at GT!!!

:peacetwo:

I have the fans on always, well, til I started trying to raise the temps to make the soil dry up!!! but it takes for ever, so the heat trick is what I am trying now!!! Glad to know you went and checked out the youtube page!!!

:peacetwo:

yeah making it warmer will help it dry out quicker. They're still vegging, so humidity isn't an issue. If you have this problem while your flowering though, turning the fans off with the lights generally has left me with mass amounts of bud rot on the wonder woman, mainly because shes so thick and dense. Since I run my fans 24/7 now in flower, haven't seen budrot since.

The lighter lime green one looks like shes snapping out of the funk, pretty soon you should see healthy new growth shoot out of her

ok,
Today I checked in on them and I still feel that Gods Gift is taking the turn for the worse!!! she is yellowing more now, more spots... more leafs are drying out... after the double dosage, there should be no deficiencies, So I don't know what to do now??? as small as the main stem is still, the super small leaves, soil is still moist... what to do other than sit and watch them or pull her... I really dont want to but what else is there to do... even if it goes into flower, will it be able to support the weight of the buds???

:peacetwo:

I probably should not have told you to up the nutes astonr. It appears that they have been over fertilized and over watered. Only thing left to do now is wait it out. Definitely dont give any more nutes until they snap out. I wish that darn soil would dry out so the roots could grow stronger

The soil doesn't look like it has any Perlite in it. If it does, it isn't much. His medium isn't draining. Transplant them to a new medium.

Whats good 420fied,
The sad part here is that I added in 20% perlite to the mix, in which on the bag it says that it has it mixed in as well!!! the drainage happens, but the soil stays moist!!! for ever!!! I add water in and it will go through the entire bucket within 4 - 5 minutes!!! so I know I dont have any drainage problems!!! I just can't get the soil to dry out!!! as of now, what is this the 9th day no watering, and it has about 4 inches of top soil dry as the desert and the rest still has moisture in it!!! its pissing me off!!!
How would I transplant when I can't go any bigger than the 5 gallon buckets inside the tubs and I can't just pull them out and knock off all the soil the roots have crowded it up!!!

Now, something I am starting to think, maybe I got a bad batch of soil or something, I mean it showed on the production date it was bagged in 09 so that makes it over 2 years old??? I don't know anymore??? Gods Gift is just dying off and all I can do is sit there and watch it die??? it hurts to watch 1 of my ladies die off like that!!! BCGB looks like she bounced back already!!! and Blackberry is just waiting to go to flowering!!! she is showing the classic signs of overwatering, but that was expected after the double shot of nutes and the extra water they got with it!!!

Well I will go and get some snaps soon, and I will move the top soil so you all can see the how moist it still is!!!

yes I have been, so far, at the beginning I was going to go with some soil called supersoil from Home Depot!!! But I was then told that it is some bad soil, but I used it with my Afgoo, and they did just fine with it!!! so I am thinking that I am going to go back to that and my perlite mix!!! cus taking 9+ days to dry out is just outrageous!!! after going in today I now noticed that cus I have been shutting the fans off to allow heat build up, that now I have gnats!!! 1 problem after another I swear!!! this grow is starting to piss me off!!! LOL but its all good!!! just gotta roll with the punches!!! and also I think that I am going to go with seeds from now on!!! it just seems easier now, dealing with clones that are not rooting right, or are getting sick, all 3 clones came from the same cloner so I dont know if it was the environment that they were in is different than what I have going?? I dont know??? anyways, for my next grow (yes I am already planning it) I have some Fem seeds that I am going to throw down!!! I have 3 different strains to have a go with, I have my lovely Afgoo!!! I have Grandaddy Purps!!! and last but not least, the last seed I have acquired!!! some True OG!!!
Now I dont know about growing some True OG after having it, it wasn't my type of high that I look for!!! so I was thinking about ordering a seed from 1 of our sponsors!!! of course you know which 1 when I said "seed" LOL but I was looking at the Bubblicious strain!!! Now I wanted to grow Bubble Gum in the tubs on this run, but the cloner didn't get the order right and gave me the Gods Gift, so yea... good thing though!!! LOL

@ astonr, I agree with 420fied in transplanting to new soil. I can't make a really good call unless I was there to visually inspect how well the roots have developed though. be sure and not purchase any soil with nutrients in it and it wouldn't hurt to mix close to 40% perlite in with the soil.

once again, how would I do that with the roots already extended out to the edges??? im not sure if it is all the way down to the bottom yet but i know its coming up!!! watch check out the youtube vid I just uploaded!!! you'll see what I mean!!!

OK check it!!!

here's what Gods Gift looks like from the soil up!!! I had to make it between 3 different shots to get the whole plant!!!

I just dont know what to do with them anymore, this is a lot of problems already!!! I think I should have just stuck with my original soil selection!!! paid 13 dollars more for this disaster!!! sorry Im just venting now!!! Im pissed!!! I dont want to have to mark a fail!!!

:peacetwo:

what kind of soil are you using? it does look very thick. I use fox farms happy frog, it's really light, but holds a decent amount of moisture, you might want to try the ocean forest, it's a lot lighter and dries much quicker.
