You are totally correct astonr. MJ loves to have dry feet. not death valley feet but dry none the less. Once your root mass is well developed, your plant will have the power to suck up that soil moisture and the soil will get dryer much quicker. I recommend to just be patient and let the soil dry out...don't let it dry out so much that the leaves start to wilt, but get close to that point. They will most likely recover in a couple of weeks and then we can decide on how much to feed then. Take care buddy
