i been gone a month and OMM your already on part 3. going to have to go back and check these pictures and sit down and catch up. considering im on page 77 jumping in , i got a good hour to two of catching up to do. WEll just wanted to say hi to QTL and OMM and Thsea

hope not. but most people just buy smokes and booze and pay the tax. and they will for pot too.But you never know where they will hang another tax. of course they may call it a "fee" insted. then its just a regulation.

Colorado may get 30% off the top on MJ sales, but right now that's just for medical. They haven't finalized how to tax and regulate non-med MJ. The constitutional amendment states it should be regulated "like alcohol". It also goes on to say that residents can have up to 3 indoor flowering plants per adult in a household, and the residents may keep everything harvested from those plants even over the legal 1 OZ limit. Colorado doesn't tax home brewers on what they brew. I doubt they will tax home growers either.

I am so sick of the government taxing when they should be more concerned about thier spending.

My weed will not be taxed.

I found out that Colorado actually taxes MMJ sales at local sales tax rates. Any rate hikes would have to be voter approved under The Taxpayer Bill Of Rights (TABOR). When they get their act together on recreational sales any taxes above and beyond local rates will also have to be voter approved. The only time Colorado voters have ever approved a tax rate increase for anything has been for alcohol and cigarettes. Will they approve an increase for recreational pot as well? Maybe.

Like home brew beer and wine, something Colorado has lots of, Coloradans get to grow at home too. Home brew isn't taxed, at least not directly. Amendment 64 says pot should be regulated "like alcohol". When the dust settles, I suspect homegrown will be treated like home brew and also not be directly taxed.
 
They taxed tobacco to pay for kids medical insurance.........how about putting a "FEE" on every time a person is shot to death in the movies and T.V. shows.............to pay for hospital bills for people shot with guns................................the more times it is shown, the more fees taken in.These kids watch the town being shot up over and over with no one ever getting arrested.Then they get put into prison when they try it.maybe we should tax them to pay for prisons.
but i agree my pot will never be taxed or will my guns be taken
 
John, I grew up in the pre-PC days of toy guns that me and my peers shot each other with. Never confused me, I also owned real guns young. Got one on stand-by duty now, but shoot the hell out of aliens on Play Station.

Omm all I have to say is wow. What I have learned from your journals is incredible. There is some serious knowledge here. I see that you use advanced LED lights. How do you like them. I currently am using a cheaper LED light and like the results but there just isn't enough raw power to get the quantity I am looking for. I had a 18 inch plant that only produced 9.9 grams dried. I put all this time and work in and my light is holding me back. I have only harvested once in my 2 years of growing. I screwed up a lot and killed many plants!! But that's how you learn lol. Any ways any advice with the lights would be great. I am looking at getting the ds100. If you have time my journal is in my signature if you want to check out my grow. Thanks Omm for listening and great meeting you!!!

Hey Spot, good to see you again. I was gone too for almost a month, just got back here about a week ago. After you get caught up here, check out my journal. My first grow using autos.
 
Man, catching up on these last, umm let's count 'em, friggin' 5!!!!, journals, is gonna take forever, but I'm a gonna get it done... Got to get my new journal up somewhere in between!!!
