WOW Your thread is just way to much for me to keep up with. Man had to go back 6 or 7 pages just to see whats up. But I did do alittle speed reading. Seems afew people haveing problems with seeds. I was thinking it was me. You know as many different strains out there, there is no way they can even keep up with inventory. Them dudes sell bulk seed also besides retail. Man that's alot of seeds. I think myself that these seed vendor's stock get old. And I'd bet they don't really have a date deadline as much as they have quanity deadlines to keep. Even that said, I know I've had alot of failures lately. One of them was the Tangerine Dream also. Fact I had 2 TD's fail. One hermied straight out and another was a 'Really Slow' starter which hermied also. Well I did alittle experiment just germinated some seeds I had that I have tons of to see some rates. Seeds from the last 5 years all germniated. Well 85+% of them did. Some like 10 years old 60% did. The last 2-3 orders I got I know I lost like 5-6 seeds. Either didn't crack or deformed tap root, kind of brownish and slow, or hermied. Hopefully the next orders far better.
Sorry Pop's never heard about that MoTM. thx anyways, but I'm going to stay away from all that. That's for people that can contribute more time and efforts for the good of the site. But I do thank ya. Man you got it going on there with them lights. Plants look great. The leaves I seen no telling. Water? You know water is going to evaporate alot slower with those LED's. Or I'd think so, steming from the lower heat. Also seen some else about feeding. So true alot of plants can really drink fert's like 1500+ ppm's worth. Some wood turn belly up on that much. I seen you still use OC I think. If you ever want to try something They is a product line I've looked at before called Natures Nectar that Has just that big nutrients. Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium. Kind of leaves alot up to the grower as far as posiable mixture rates for sure. More than I cared to handle. Hey Sprout! Man your making me think about my seeds and they're age. I've have some from 4 years ago. I keep them refrigerator. Like you it's the newer seeds that I trouble with. I'd say about 7 out 10 do pop.
used to be 100%.

Your older seeds are newer than the one you have recently ordered. That is just crazy!! Have you thought about doing more cloning? BTW I voted for NorCal too!!

You were talking earlier about some new meds...I worry whenever folks are started on new antidepressants. I've done a little research on the topic, and one of the major concerns is people abruptly stopping them...SSRIs or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, can be particularly dangerous. Anyone that is curious can search "SSRI Violence" or "Mass Murder SSRI Connection" to find some of the info.
I'll leave you with this little titbit...the last time I seriously looked into it, I couldn't find a perpetrator of a mass shooting in the past ~20 years that wasn't on them at the time of the event. Now it just came out that this latest guy in Colorado was under a psychiatrist's care...
I'm fighting back an anti-pharmecutical company rant here, so I'll stop now!
