OMM's Social Network Grow

I am getting back to sleeping like I want and staying up much later. I didn't get up today til 2:30. If I sleep 12-14 hours it is usually when I am depressed. But lately has been sleeping later because I can. It's just nice to have peace and quiet. As for the dizziness, I am thinking it is one of my meds or maybe my ears because my right ear seems to always pop like I am on a plane. Another thing I forgot to mention to the doctor. I agree with X, do take care of yourself. We all love us some OMM.

I agree now that you have peace and quite again......just do what you want to. Now's the time to do your thing again, with no rules from someone else. Relax and just be the good grower you are.

Meds, meds, meds......change one and it ripples though our system until we realize it's good for us or a med from hell. Hope we last through the testing time. Best thing for us is growing our own meds. We know what that will do for us.:cheertwo:

One thing I love about quality weed is being able to get off doctors meds. I am happy to say I am completely off the meds that I had to take to go through my last medical bout. I was on some very addictive meds. Getting stoned to the bone slowly took away the addiction and now I am free of the addictive medication. Feels great! I sleep much deeper too.

I wish I could just stop the meds I am taking but I can't. Though weed does help me with the stomach and pain issues I have. I also agree that I seem to sleep better after smoking.

I wish I could say it was easy. It wasn't. I knew I was in trouble when I started enjoying the meds. Narcotics feel great at first but it doesn't take long before they have a good grip on you. Before you know it, they stop getting you high but you still have to take them to stop from getting sick. What a terrible way to go.

I am talking about the additive medication that I get prescribed that I want to abuse.

I still have to take a prozac type pill every day.

all I know is, unless you have diabeties, aids or cancer and maybe an infection that the majority of meds prescribed by the docs might as well be snake oil! well maybe viagra but I have not tried that YET.
I have been on heart meds and they have made me feel so slow that I cant function and I'am supposed to take them now.
I gained 75lbs on them and it seems that was the rong way to cure the problem to me. I had no desire to work in the yard hang with my freinds or even have sex. when I asked my doc about these things he said that its just because my body was not used to the medication yet. I replied thats what alcohol does and what good is this compared to that. granted I have some not so good heart problems and took my meds for awhile. but I like sex and going with my freinds piss on the yard! anyway I quit taking the meds and have sex every once in awhile when mama lets me! so dont always believe all thats fed to you. and know for the disclaimer wether you figured it out or not I'am not a doctor Jim, Iam a grower damnit:) end this rant for the time being:party:

I don't take narcotics but I have never liked taking pills at all. I still have that problem to this day. Some of the meds I take affect my liver. How is that making me feel better when the side effects causes problems with my liver?

I hate to admit that I love the effects of some types of pills. That is why I had a hard time getting off them. Zanax is a tough pill to stop taking. But it was a life saver while going through the treatment!

I have no problem with the non addictive meds I have to take now.

That is a tough call. The meds that affect your liver. I don't know what the doctor is treating but it sounds like something to look in to getting off if you can. Might not be a good idea either. Hope you can figure it out.

Unfortunately I can't get off of them but I don't really take them the way I should either. The only thing I stay faithful with is my diabetic medication.

fish cake have you been sneaking around my house? Sure sounds like it. My meds make me feel the same way. I don't want to do anything. I have worked it out which I can take together without some god awful problem.
They seem to drain my energy. It's a shame, but I have to have them. They do keep me alive.
:smokin2:

Hey but I thought the Ensure was helping with your energy?

Hi Queen. I just drank some a few minutes ago. It is what keeps me going, I think. I use a little daily box that has all my meds for morning and night. I just filled them a few minutes ago. I was given some new meds last week, as I was reading the bottles I discovered that they are giving me another antidepressant. I already take one....what the fu*k? I'm not depressed, but I sure have no strength.
The thought of eating makes me sick. I am going to eat some vegetable soup in a few minutes, I know I have to eat, so got to do it. Like they say...this too shall pass.

Up and down we go..............
:Namaste:

I know what you mean but they say antidepressants can be used for other things as well. I know wellbutrin is one that is also used to help stop smoking. Didn't help me much with it though. Have you asked your doctor about this? I am the type who asks my doctor plenty of questions and she seems to appreciate the fact that I can hold a conversation about the meds I am on. As for pill boxes, I tried those, they still don't help me keep track of when to take my pills. Most of my meds I have to take with food but I don't eat like normal people. When actually I should be eating more considering I am diabetic. But like some good green and I am eating up everything in sight. If you feel sick to your stomach, have you tried some saltine crackers? Go good with your soup.

Sup OMM. Long time bro. Been busy but I am glad to see your still around.

Hey How are Mr. Smith? It has been a while. I'm glad we are both still around. :high-five:

Queen, I think we are allot alike. I eat and sleep when I want to. Never have been an 8 to 5 person. Clocks piss me off, I have to do certain things at times. I feel like they control me. Hold over traits from my hippie days. About 6 years ago my taste buds changed. Old age they said. I sure eat allot of Ice Cream. Not much else tastes good.
My soup is ready...I better go force it down. The antidepressants are for my lungs?

Hey we got a good banter going on. I almost feel like I am in the same room with you talking. I have never been a morning person either. When I went to an old doctor of mine back home concerned about my sleeping habits, he told me that my biological clock is set for third shift. I wasn't expecting that answer. All I know is that I am not a morning person and usually schedule all appointments for the afternoon. Another reason is the morning rush on the train is just horrible. Just ice cream? You need some food that is gonna put some weight on those bones. I am assuming you and Jo don't cook much? You need me over there cooking. Just don't ask me to cook fish, yuck. Have you seen the movie with Halle Berry in it called BAPS?

Antidepressant for your lungs? This is new to me, have you looked the antidepressant up online? I am sure you prolly did, I remember you said you do that with all your meds, right? Is your doctor walking or sounding like a duck? Cause he sounds like a bit of a quack, just a little joke...lol

Sorry I broke the banter...I did eat the vegetable soup. Didn't like it, but ate it. The meds they gave me for my lungs, just has that side effect. I feel like I always do. I think I'm on the third shift too. I was pretty lucky in the military, Only had about three years of getting up early. Getting a new TV Thursday, Not 3D, just got a newer model of the one I already had. Have a good night Queen! :Namaste:
