OMM's Aloha Journal Part III

Looking good OMM. the babies are healthy and the grow is started. Your doctor is a butt head. Why they think they are the all mighty. I had a really bad hip and I was going to this rehab doctor and one day after waiting for over an hour in a room he came in. After a little discussion he stated, You're just hear to get drugs. I told him to fuck off and walked out. As I walked through the waiting room I stated I wouldn't be back and that he was a quack and shouldn't be a doctor because all he does is collect the money. they are out there and we all have to deal with them at times.

Hi OMM,

Quick question/observation.

From your photos above it looks like you and I have a similar style for the initial germination & veg - right into the big pot. I start with rapid rooters in 4x4 squares then into the 7-10 gal depending on what I want to accomplish.

That said I was wondering if you encounter a similar issue as me (assuming I'm correct with the above statement) in that lots of water and nutrients "gather" at the bottom of the big pots during the first few weeks. Then when the roots hit that "hot" area they get a big whack of nutrients and bad things start to happen.

What I do to prevent this (though trial and error) is about every 2 weeks until I'm sure the roots are at the bottom, I give each plant a 1.5 gallon RO water flush - 1 one day and another the very next day. This seems to mitigate those issues.

So....

a) Do you have a similar situation?

b) If "a" is true how do you handle it?

Thanks!

he only uses ro water
the soil he uses requires no nutes
if it does he usually uses oc+
which requires him to only water

That's a shame beemerbill. Many are like that for sure.

Every once in a while you meet a good one. I did. The little town of England, Arkansas had a very old town Doctor, so the town sent a young man to Little Rock and Medical school to replace him. Turns out he was a natural born surgeon and had offers from all sorts of hospitals.
He said Thanks, but no Thanks and returned to England as they're GP. There are a few good ones.

Hello Blazer420. You are exactly right, we germ the very same way and plant the same way, with one exception,
I don't water the whole pot. If you look at the pictures of my babies, the soil is different colors. I only water the sprouts and not the entire pot. Once they are getting larger and growing deeper roots, then I water the whole pot. Hope this helps you. Thanks for asking this question. I should have talked about it before.

Yep it would help the little fella went an broke his mums bedroom door last night along with so much more for sure all my plants are DEAD now

I just wont no if its the little guy or his mum she can be a little bit of a COW at times like last night after her door was broken she demanded that I fix it I tried but its been ripped off the hinges so SHE CAN PAY
Sorry I feel a little (LOT) wound up :circle-of-love:
