Oldsmokey Grows Blue Cheese & Blueberry With Promix

Great fishing story’s!! Love the boat momma k!! Sorry to hear about your brother. I always liked being on the ferries, because I don’t see them too often. My wife which is from the island, hates the ferries. Just wants to sit in the car the entire trip across. Lol I want to go see things!! Hahaha

I loved going to rochon store for ice cream as well. It was a bit of a hike back to camp, but it was so worth it!! Lol
A friend of mine lives across the road from that store. He grew up out there, I’ve been to some pretty fun party’s at his place lol!!

The picture above of my old boat. That was at Francois lake B.C close to prince George we would start the day jigging for burbot in 120 feet plus of water. Pulling up 10 pounders that were picking up 1lb Kokanee out of their mouths from the pressure being pulled up so fast. Then we went to lake trout fishing bottom bouncing up a sand ledge180 rising to 150feet those Lakers are so black and the only time of year you can catch them. When the water starts warming up they go to deep.

Funny story we were bouncing or plugs up the ledge I mentioned above and buddy got snagged and lost his plug. He was pissed because it was his last one. On the next pass I caught his plug at 150 feet plus! What's the odds of that. Let me look if have any fish pics of that trip. We stopped there for 3 days on our way to Kitimat for salmon fishing.

Wow. I was so taken back through the years to fishing trips with my father and his Buddy, Ron, and Ron's son Donald.

Beautiful catch!

I lived in Edmonton for 5 years in the late 90's lots of good fishing in northern Alberta. Way better than southern Alberta. Back then the walleye fishing in pigeon Lake was amazing. Many days with 100 plus fish caught and not uncommon over 10 lbs. That's were I have caught my biggest walleye's 13 lb plus. Back then you were allowed to keep them although never kept the big ones two or three pounders were perfect for eating. Here are a couple of pictures of the boat that I used to have back then. Had a lot of good times in that boat I nicknamed her Fish Hunter.

This is the only aspect of living in Canada that I’m jealous of... the fishing here fucking sucks. Lol Constantly getting skunked.. it’s a good day if you can catch one fish haha... but then again I just love being out in the sun relaxing, but I imagine being able to slay fish like that would be amazing. So many of my friends have told me stories about there Canadian fishing trips and it sounds like a blast. It’s definitely on my list of things to do before I kick the bucket. You lucky SOB’s :) Hope all is well your worlds!

Day 30 Veg Update
Good morning everyone hope your day is going well. Blueberry#1 has been topped the third and final time. The other 4 will get there final topping this week. I am seeing some slight yellowing between the leaf veins. Typical of a magnesium deficiency. I have been a little to conservative on the nutes. I think for the last week or 2 I have been chasing this deficiency I think it's time to try and get in front of it. I will be upin the dosage again next feeding 4.5 grams a gallon. Besides that things are going good.

Temp and humidity at lights out.

A day spent fishing with no fish, is still way better than a day of not fishing. It just is.

Sweet looking plants, Smokey.

Havent been following along that closely because there is so much going on with my move, but I noticed the tell tale sight of pipe cleaners, indicating you've already been training them. May I ask at about what point in their lives you start both training and topping them?

I think I'm about close to starting both on mine but I'm not sure. Your expert advice would be invaluable to me.

Nice plants, though. They are looking superb.

All my best,
~Magnus

Hey Magnus I wait till the plant has 5 nodes and then I will Top it on the 4th node. When those two new shoots start growing basically when they're long enough maybe an inch or two I will tie them down. And adjust as it grows. I usually like to top three times. Tying everything down as it grows. And when I'm happy with the plant I flip it to 12:12. Not exactly expert advice but that's how I do it.

Nope. That is perfect advice. I think I usually begin topping a bit too early so this is good stuff. Thanks, man.

All my best,
