This journal is awesome OM! What a great idea you had!

If you ever do this again, with the same strain or a different one, I'll do my best to grow whatever the choice is.

Hi Sun Well, I can't take all the credit. Mountain High actually thought of it and I am the one that got to do the journal. That is why we are co-hosts.

Needless to say, it's been fun and popular. SonicQ has already said we could do more strains. We are open to suggestions. Something easily acquired and new or very popular. We are hoping others will do a strain journal too. We all learn that way. :)

*these were taken at 49 days, which is not what my other slh looks like at 49 days, this pheno looks alot faster and should be done at least 2 weeks sooner than my "kept" slh. By "kept" I mean the slh I have a mother of and have clones of. This girl looks rather promising, but I'd have to reveg, and wouldnt faster finishing just mean less buzz?

Man, Raisin J That camera takes good photos! Course it could be the beautiful subject. :)

Not at all on the fast finishing.......it is still the trichs color that determines potency, so is all good! :cheertwo::cheertwo:

Mini Bud Update : I haven't been able to get any decent shots of my side cola's and I am excited the way they are growing and tonight, seems like almost every shot the camera made was decent...so I hope I am not annoying anyone with pictures because I just want to share my smiles...:tokin:

Well I'm not the best, and it's only been in glass for a week or so, but here goes my short attempt:

I expected more in the taste/smell dept, but only one crop so far and I could see some improvement there, but it's doubtful this would be the tastiest around, nor the lemonyest, it's not as much of a standout flavor as I'd expected, but the better thing about that is that it surprised me as being more potent than expected and that's really alot more important to me. Compared to brainstorm haze I had grown in the past, the flavors very similar, but not as distinct, but potency is far better. Alot more stoney than I'd expect, it's not that the sativa side isn't there, it definately is, but after the initial hour or so, maybe 2, it starts leaning heavily as it also makes me tend to lean heavily, I end up dragging, sleepy, lethargic for hours. Don't get me wrong, the flavor is wonderful and the first thing people have been surprised by is the initial flavor- unique to many but not as unique to more seasoned smokers. It's not my tastiest, but it's still an A-. Potency is as good as it gets, though I've had stonier, I've had zippier, but the total package is as potent as anything i've come across except maybe 2 or 3. It's fun, first thing I wanna reach for, until I have more of my personal fave on hand. I gotta run but that's about all I can say.
 
Hey is it possible to have resin smeared on the inside of my Computer Screen? I swear after viewing the last buds I have a cloudy smear on my shitz. lol Some sweet sticky stuff you all have going on here SLH is a great looking producer or the thing we likes best and now what's the smell like?

great report raisin, and the taste will get stronger as it cures....the water evaps out and leaves the stronger oil flavor....or so its been for me on the other....have you tried just the plain brainstorm?

That was a very good smoke report, very complete. I felt right there with you. Some of it I expected..... not a strong lemon flavor....but I did expect it to be potent.......and actually it sounds really good! :cheertwo:

well, thank you omm....decided it was time for a change of sorts....g.d. is an elven queen i believe so i decided to become a flitten fae....later, still working on pics...took too darn many, going to get put up in groups this time...L:tokin::tokin:
