OldMedMan's First Grow Couchlock 2009

Hey Mate I actually read this an hour or so ago. I had just taken a bit of medication and and wasn't ready for "START YA BASTARD". I rolled around on the floor for a while and each time I thought I had my control back and could think reasonably well again, I started again. Tear laughing. It just sounded so Australian . I know you guys hear something some times and think ah that's just the Yanks.:rofl:

I'm still giggling under my breath. Thank you Mate for one good laugh
No wuckin forries me ole china. They say laughter is the best medicine and if thats the case our medicinal herb runs a fkn close second. I loved the Hawaii clip BAS posted. It reminded me of when I was living on a Yacht(albeit a shitty small vessel) in The Whitsunday group of Islands in Far Nth Queensland(up the top o the pointy bit on a map of Oz) on The Great Barrier Reef. Living on fresh caught fish, shark, lobster, crab, oysters was virtually free.
Mangos and coconuts and paw paw (papaya) everywhere. I was based in Airlie Beach and worked on charter yachts taking mainly backpackers around the Islands.5 busloads of tourists from all corners of the globe arrived daily. More than 1/2 were gorgeous young women. It kept me more busy than when I was in Pataya,Thailand if you get my drift:winkyface:.It was a great couple of years but I had to go back to Sydney due to family dramas.
I left a small crop in the bush up there. Hopefully somebody deserving found it. I'll get back one day. I plan to get a yacht and Sail from Sydney anti-clockwise to Perth Western Australia. ONE DAY.:peace:

Hey OMM,

Congrats on MOM! I voted for you also, though it was a tough call, some great candidates all around. And to think some folks believe voting doesn't matter...

Yeah, we need a product that's called, 'I'm In Da Bloom, BITCH!', maybe we can get BAS to do the video...

You have the patience of Job my friend with Joanne there (the plant, or the person? you decide! jk). Normally I'm down with the all-natural approach. You still have a 250 sitting around, right? What about finishing her inside with some artificial inducement - say, a 10/14 light cycle supplemented by clear incandescent? A little far-red lighting to speed her clock along. That and some Clearex might be just the ticket...

Keep on rockin' your baby!

Regards,

-TL

once again i tune in for the never ending saga that is your epic grow.I remember reading some where that some strains native the equator reigon never truyly finish off.I sugest that when you are getting low on smoke look to some of the bottom branches that may look finnished and give those a shot.Till then just enjoy the ride my friend. Also i will be starting my half of the bubblelious project when i return to the city...peace

Happy Friday OMM,
I can relate to a stubborn lady. I have one that after 6 weeks of flower just started showing some tiny buds. I was about to pull it from the tent when she showed. The others are about 75% done and this one is just starting. oh well, women. lol

Hey Mate, someday we have to get together and talk story. BAS is so cool. I really missed her. I know very well what you meant about it being worse than Pataya:rofl:
When I was stationed in Greece. I can tell this story now that time has passed. I worked in a comm center and it was high security so no one knew what we were up to in there. We had 5 times the people needed to run the place, so we worked a 24 hour shift and were off for 6 days. You could get others to take your place, so we could have 13 and 21 days in a row off.
Rosemary and I crewed on 124 ft Yacht in the Med for 5 years. It was a wooden Yacht and had twin diesels. We got the front cabin and our job was to serve any guests Ice Cream and Strawberries. Oh and I had to throw out the line when we docked and pull it in we left port. Damn hard work:rofl: Went all over the Med, Cairo, Italy, and allot of the Greek islands.:grinjoint:

But then I got promoted and had to leave the Comm Center. Damn:smokin2:

I hope you do get that Yacht and do your reverse cruise. :peace:
Maybe you could get a tie behind a freighter or liner and come over to Hawaii for a visit.:cheesygrinsmiley::clap:

Hi Lurker Big thanks for the vote:cheertwo: you got it voting does matter. I bet BAS would love to do the video. She would be great.
Patience with both Joanne's is the answer.:grinjoint:
If I could she would be inside now. Most of the inside stuff is gone now.
I checked her lower buds today and some are turning amber. :cheertwo:
Maybe not too much longer. WhoRay!

Glad to see you Dain:cheertwo: It's still epic as you can see. You and I thought this grow would long be over by now.:smokin2: Truthfully I am enjoying the ride.:grinjoint:
I have 5 Bubblelicious started, they are only two weeks old, so plenty of time. With luck I will have at least one female.
Hope your Mom is better and all is getting back to normal. See you soon Buddy. :peace:

OMM I an glad to see you are feeling better and that plant damn, it just wont give up the sweetness, the tease!

Hi Wingman:cheertwo:

I think the change in my diet really helped. :slide:

I found some amber trichs today on her lower buds.......so........maybe soon.

So, did you find any seeds? Warning, they will ALL test your will power. :peace:

Oh! No! not you too! Scared her into flowering eh? Like you said what can you do? Women. I'll be watching that for sure. :ganjamon:

I know patience is key. And you certainly have a healthy plant - if slow as hell. I'd hang in there.

The only thing I can offer is that I had the same thing happen once, and it was Manganese def - not Magnesium. The deficiency won't really hurt your plant, and rarely kills them - it just brings it to a crawl. It builds up very very slowly, such that it will slam the brakes on your plant long before its symptoms are visible. Anyways - the remedy was the same as many other nute problems - flush the hell out of it with Clearex. I used the method they describe for emergencies where basically you flush and test the runoff. Keep flushing until that ppm in the runoff doesn't change. Then add a medium but very well balanced nutrient mix of your choice. It worked for me - a few days later I had those little buds on buds things, and a week or two later she finished. 5 weeks after all the others in her batch - but she finished.

Not a diagnosis - just something that I experienced once.

I have been following your grow OMM, interesting girl you have left, kind of like your average woman, ready when SHE wants to be. :grinjoint: She is a beauty though. I hope you continue to feel good, cuz feeling bad sucks.

:peace:

Hi High:rasta: Yep, dated one like that, but not for too long. Drove me nuts. Late for everything. I think this one is finally coming around.
She is a beauty, like you said. :grinjoint:

Feeling better all the time.:cheertwo:

Yep WP Looks I'll be doing that flush, although I did find amber in the lower buds today. If it comes to it, I may just chop her and take what I get.
Glad I have a good stock of buds right now.

Sure like the way you keep a running summery about how things are going at the bottom of your page. Nice.:clap:

Awesome. All the more reason to flush. The worst that can happen is that she tastes better. :) Not sure if you're familiar with Clearex, and I don't normally recommend a specific product, but as far as I know - everyone likes Clearex. You can accomplish the same thing other ways - but to be honest - I've flushed the hell out of plants with plain water, and extremely diluted nutes as a method to flush - and I've never come close to the same results as Clearex. Its immediate. Again - that's just me. I know plenty of growers who can do it without.

Gosh, OMM I miss a day and I fall 3 to 4 pages behind in your journal, Very popular journal you have. I still think your lady is going to be well worth the wait. She is going to be that smoke you don't even want to smoke cause thats one less time you will have to smoke her. Going to be amazing.

Hi WP
I have heard and read about it, so I know the product. Now, it's matter of getting my lazy self across the island to the Hydro store. I try to stay away from the other side, too much traffic and madness. I haven't been to Waikiki in 5 years and it's about 25 miles away.:grinjoint:

Thanks for your help WP :peace:
