OldMedMan's Aloha Journal

I agree that 24 hours of dark then move them outside shouldn't hurt a thing ! Then you don't have to worry if the fans are in backwards ! Sorry Buddy ! couldn't resist ! Hope your lumps and bumps are feeling better ! :peace:

Folks I need your Help !

This one I don't even think is possible, but I'm going to ask anyway. I've been thinking it over and I see no answer.

I have 3 Girls in flower in my tent. They have been in flower three days. The lights are on from 9 pm to 9 am.
Is there any way possible to move these girls outside without them going all Hermie on me.?

I feel it would be much easier for me to take care of them outside.
:thanks:

Otherwise you can watch me be very mean to them and bend them all over the place. Maybe I shouldn't have said that.

At once the lights shutoff unplug them and let them sit in the dark for 24hrs and move em on out. They'll be fine

Thanks, that is my thinking too. A nice long night. G'night girls:Namaste:

Aloha OMM - :surf:

That's what I'd do -- right or wrong. And you sure can't beat that kajillion watt lightbulb in the sky! Sorry I haven't been around as much, but I've been busy harvesting and recovering from harvesting. Why does it always just wipe me out?! At least... the payoff is sweeeeet. Hope you are doing well my friend! :)

Hey there, I am still around too. Just have been doing more reading and giggling. Though I did have a bug yesterday so I wasn't on much at all. Sorry to hear about your fall but glad Jo patched you up. And if that wrist still bothers you, try soaking it in some epsom salt, it will take the swelling down.

Hi all, Jo and I went out to eat today. We drove to the southern tip of the island mainly because we have not done so in years. The drive is a beautiful one. We went by the rodeo stables, the Polo club and the horse stables, it's beautiful beaches all the way, Boogie boards beaches, the golf course, a great kite flying beach and the dreaded Sandy Beach. It was beautiful.

When we got home, I went next door to tell my neighbor that this would be my last grow. He has a Big Mastiff that is usually in his back yard. Soon as she See's me she starts barking. Actually she is a big sweetie and wants to me to pet her. He comes out and takes her inside. It's a pain in the butt for him.

As I stepped on his porch, I fell flat on my face, hard. He came out and helped me to my feet. I was wounded all over. I told him that this my last grow and why. He was worried about me and I told him "This is why I'm quitting and he just laughed."

Home to nurse Jo. Man, old guys should not fall, take my word for it. I'm OK, just bruised and cut is all and embarrassed big time.
:peace::high-five:

Well, some time has gone by. Looks like I did hurt my left wrist, can't move it w/o pain. Crap..not now!

Ouch, sure sounds like something I'd do...! Bummer about your wrist, sure hope it's feeling better.

Hi Buddy, we sure do, very careful.

As you can see by the picture of my garage, I still have the airpots, I will probably sell them. It just got to be too much for me to pack them properly. I was going to re-pot one girl to an AirPot, then thought about and deiced not to.:smokin2:

Yep, it is a stress, so watering before hand helps. You take care too!

I totally get this one - those things are a lot of work to pack the insides of those recesses correctly. I have to admit, I find myself really dreading the work involved. Sounds silly to say - until you do several of them and try to use your fingers afterwards. Cursing all the while... They sure work great, though. You were the one who introduced them to me - one of many useful things I've learned from you my friend!

Oh, and great re-potting tutorial! + rep

I'm going to show my garage a picture of your garage with the hopes it feels inspired to clean and organize itself as nicely as yours is. Crossing my fingers that this will work 'cuz I don't have the energy to do that myself... Wish me luck! ;)

Let me know if that works for you!

Well I was gonna reply about moving the ladies outside, but it's been covered. The long night is probably the best option, but after only 3 days, they probably wouldn't have had any trouble moving outside. You could also have shifted your timers an hour a day until it got where you wanted it. Basically give them 23 hour days for awhile, with 12 dark, 11 light.

Hey Hiker!:peace:

Thanks my friend. I have everything ready to move. Created a place for them already. I will put the out when it gets dark tonight. He! He! I will be panting after that! :ganjamon:

Hi My Beautiful Queen. Giggling is good for the soul my dear. Hope you are over your bug. Jo patched me up. Both feet, shoulder and head. Still can't believe how fast it happened. I will talk to my neighbor from his front yard from now on.

Hi There X ! Yep, you know how love the Airpots, just can't cope with them anymore. A Shame. Things change.

Well, I hope you're garage pays attention. They can be stubborn. Ever since THsea I started using the garage we have cleaned it up afterwards. If we don't, Jo visits us. MY wrist is better, Thanks Brother. :thumb:

BID, Brother always glad to see you. Buddy I know you are always around. Thanks my Friend.:thanks:

OK my fellow old man. Stop falling down. You know that just isn't good for old farts. Heck I haven't fallen down for at least 6 months and i sure hope I don't again. Last Friday at work all I wanted to do is retire and I have been on the net looking at what I would lose if i went a year early. Not sure I can swing it but if I feel like I did on friday the hell with it, I'll be retiring in June. You be careful, we just don't repair as easily as we used to.

Your plants are looking really good outside and the three girls in early flower should be just fine going outside.

Hey OMM, all is not lost when we lose a day.....sometimes it is necessary for your well being. I enjoy losing a day now and again. Just don't make it a regular occurrence! Hope you are feeling better thru the power of your homegrown medicine. We'll keep the light on for you.

Hello my friend Beemerbill. :high-five: I am trying my best Brother. I guess it was slippery. Sure was a surprise, I didn't need. 6 months is pretty good Brother.

I hear you my friend. Just make sure you will be covered money wise. Not the time to make a mistake. I know you are taking everything into consideration. I wish you the best. Stay on you're feet!

Hi OG13. A forced day off, it was. Don't need anymore of that.
I didn't even bounce. Medi-Bomb1 is my favorite pain killer, it works good. Hope you are doing well. You have you're own pain to fight I know.

Hey OMM, glad you're on the mend.

The Medi-Bomb 1 seed I started a week ago in my DIY hothouse has just broken the soil today. I'm not ready to call it a success yet, but it's a start. :)

That sounds good to me KushMeister. Luckily she is a fast growing plant....you will have some good medicine in no time.:thumb:

By the way she grows all over the place..no manners.

That's what I like to see. New flowers ablooming. I'm like BID up there, I don't always say something but I'm there. Sometime I'm not sure where there is but I'm there. Watch them falls Pop's. You know I have that failed hip replacement. It's failed 15-20 times in the past, but the last 5-6 years I learned don't fall and I can procrastinate the revison surgery afew more years. JK Nope. Becareful Pop's you might end up busting something you need. Hey I just started the Moby Dick in the cure jar, and I'm going to check into alittle atempt at trying Pineapple Express again. Per recommendations for acouple growers here. Man I'd love to have your weather Pop's. Hey you know some of them plants have alot of over kill in housing size. I'm not sure what you are using for fertilizer but you could grow afew smaller plants in smaller pots and save alot of wieght. I've always used atleast a 5 gallon for my finish pot's, unless I want a tree, but if you have a good fertilizer you can grow nice plants in a smaller pot. Like 2-3 gallon. Man them big pots get full of water and they'll wear ya out. So nice to be able to pic up your plants and turn them without straining your back.
Love the color the MediBomb is showing. Like three little flowers in a bunch in that pic. Well 'Older Man' TC and I'll bb Keepem Green

~45-50 days in flower if I remember correctly. Sounds good to me too!

The Sleeskunk has between two and four weeks left in flower, and then the new girls can go in when they're ready.
