I tell ya folks it's a bit strange watching the storm hit the Big Island cause flooding, flash floods, blocked roads, and big waves.
It is now hitting Maui and flooding many places. It didn't weaken, it got stronger. The Mayor here told everyone to leave work and go home at three pm. Jo just told me that they had had 11 separate accidents on the Pali Highway in the last hour. That is the Highway to this side of the island.

Maui is getting 4 inches of rain an hour. Big time floods. Our birds are all in the tree, but will not come down to eat.

Hi my friend jaga. So far so good. No rain or winds at all. I saw a map earlier and it was headed right for Cronic's and my place. So far nothing. Hope it stays that way. Thanks for asking.

Hi yooper rex. Looks good so far. I've seen it come down worse than that here. Like buckets full. Flooded once right up to our doorstep. I was ready to save all my computers and TVs. Then I was going to wake up Jo.
