Hey My Buddy yooper rex. It truly is worth the money. We haven't even started o really putting it through it's paces yet.

I use the butter machine too, I would like thseas recipe if you don't mind, I can make very potent butter and tincture, but that awful taste won't go away. I like to make oil or butter with the machine, then take the product, add more weed and run it again, that's how I get the xx products...no xxx yet, I need to find out how to run solvent based recipes.....I wanna make hash and hash oil with it.

My first batch of butter ( before I got the machine ) I made cookies with, I been around the block so I'm thinkin about 3 would be just fine....I felt like I was on mushrooms for around 8 hours.....I tried to sleep it off........NO CHANCE! I don't eat weed or weed products anymore, but I have patients who don't take pain meds anymore......since the first dose of my butter and oil! They pay 0 for my edibles! I am glad that I can offer it.........F the pharmas....weed and meds! If the law would just let me grow instead of trying to force me to buy from them I wouldn't care about the weed crooks............

Come on over wild bill, we'll make some and stay basted.........I have a small jar of 2x tincture you can try too! Loadie delivered a jar of 2x to a patient and the jar had "caution" written on it, he asked what that meant, and loadie told him it meant exactly what it said. I sampled the first batch and since then I won't touch it!

I run the tincture for 8 hours, one batch for 16. I did the first run, filtered the tincture, added more weed, and ran it for another 8. This shit is strong!, 1/2 tsp. twice a day

I was looking for others who have made tincture. I have not tried mine yet and was already thinking of running ALL my trim through it ... well at least a couple more runs. Questions, if you are willing

what do you use for solvent?
dry or fresh trim?
what strain for your Alzheimer's patient and what benefit does it give?

We don't know each other very well OMM, but your positive attitude makes me wish we could hang out and burn a little together (or vape your call hehe). It's folks like you that make this place so awesome.

The butter is good for cooking other things, like cookies and stuff, the taste is easier to handle. I have heard people say they can get the taste out, but they never show me...LOL!

The best results I've had, as far as removing the 'green' taste, was using the water and oil (coconut specifically) method and letting them separate in the fridge.

This sounds like it might need OMM's little slogan applied. I'm sure there several folks here that would be willing to take on that challenge!

And when we did see it, it wasn't for very long. That shit always went up in smoke.

You won't regret it, I use mine quite often, it takes ALL the work out of infusing stuff! I still wanna know how they use the flammable solvents in em, mfgr doesn't recommend it, so I know the product must be GOOD!

Hey buck, this is how I do it; I fill the machine or you can fill any pan for that natter if you don't have a machine. I put 12 oz. of coconut oil, and 4 oz. of vegetable oil almost to the maximium fill line in the machine. Then I start putting weed in until the weed fills the area with the oil in it...it just saturates the weed. They say you don't have to carboxylase the weed with the machine, and you don't chop it up. Use dry weed, I keep it in my freezer, leaves and trim...it's all good. The machine has a chopper like blender blade thing goin on and it comes off and on through the cycle. I set the machine for 190 degrees and 8 hours. I filter it through a paint strainer first, then through a coffee filter and it is residue free from what I see. Another thing I did was to run the filtered oil again, through more freezer weed....double potency. My patient is a 65 year old female with moderate Alzheimer's, she goes back and forth between knowing what's going on and then having no Idea where she's at, or even who she is sometimes...panic ensues, ect.. I started her out on single run oil, 1 teaspoon twice a day...once with breakfast and once at noon. She had amazing progress right away, and started going out in public and quit taking Ativan completely...after taking it for years. I ask her if it could be stronger, and decided to double it up, I wanted to go over a little and then back off to her maximum tolerable dose. That's why I made the double run, she is very happy...a different person. I love this part.........a six month supply costs me 7 dollars.
