I hear ya buddy... Yea, the whole mess where you can still lose your job is weird.. I don't find narcotics a good choice either. Thats crazy that your co-workers utilize hard drugs... I hear that they leave the system faster than our Mary Jane.. Sad times, that would be way more a worry to me... Many of those drugs compromise your mental facilities...

If I were you... Because I know I wouldn't quit using cannabis.. I would look into those nifty things to pass drug tests. Maybe one of them works?

@Kola, hey bud I'm sorry to hear that you're forced into that decision....You would be making the best and wisest choice to quit, and not risk your employment in this economy...However, a product called "Vale tripple strength" or "Vale XXX" or something works, it has worked for me more than once back in the day....

Yes OMM i have a very good job and am blessed, and even some co-workers tell me same as you, however, some of these guys do coke thinking that that is better since its out of your system, i don't do coke, don't like it, and flat out think their logic is nutts. Don't even care to drink, if given the choice i rather take a hit and chill and have my body feeling good (work involves lots of manual labor + i aint getting any younger)

Just bummed thats all...but thank you both for your feed back, new years resolution for me to just stop and do it when on long vacations and just eat the pain:Namaste:

I really like you kola bear, your brave. Going to be a hassle at first, then you file it in the cabinet that says "To DO Later in Life". It's more fun when your older anyway! :thumb: You sure don't worry as much! :Love:

By the way when you do smoke again it will be even better!:clap:

You da bestest.... :thumb:thanks, just hard, you know, been a part of my life since a young age (not condoning that part too dumb and nieve back then to handle) but now when i see the BS of the beaurocracy i get bummed (kinda a fight the system guy) but you are totally right, iʻve done it before, got into MJ again after shoulder surgery and helped so much plus perspective changed a bit, but nonetheless you are right. Thanks for your wisdom..... :Namaste: work thursday donʻt go back to Following year so if all goes well on work that day i will make it my new years resolution.... :smokin2: as for mystery seed and strawberry cough :cheesygrinsmiley: i will store away for friends, family, and lots of days off. :yummy:

Quixilvir, you da bomb, thanks for having my back.....i just do the dilution method every morning for work (that dedicated) and test before going work, gonna make new years resolution and follow OMM (heʻs right plus knowledge and life) gotta listen

But this whole situation really depresses me... Honestly.. And I don't know your boss or anything... But if he is someone you can actually talk to and you are in a legal state... Talk to him, it is up to the employers in the state.. Make it clear you wont do so before, at or during work.. That should be their main concern... I think I would do this before getting your card... Let them know your employment means more.... If they are any decent human being, they will be compassionate and allow you to work and medicate in a safe way.

If your employer is a national company you might get the boot... So know before you act.

This is most from what I've gathered talking to people and somewhat my own experience... I worked at a subway, everyone knew I smoked cannabis multiple times daily. Not just the co-workers, the bosses. It never effected my performance and they understood I used it for medical reasons.... or it they didn't, its Hawaii... Everyone smokes cannabis here, I believe its our top cash crop.

@THsea......government job, just don't like the fact of the stigma where other pain meds are ok yet this one isn't even tho legal in the state...I wouldn't do it at work, i do it on my days off like i said only 2 days maybe 3 if back hurts....right now i think i broke my wrist about 2 weeks now, just avoiding the doctor....:Namaste:

It makes me ashamed to be an American when the Federal Government disregards the public laws and trys to force thier laws on State governments. If MMJ is a legally prescribed medication there should be no question. Employers should respect their employees rights. Religious people are always talking about persecution. Marijuana users are persecuted way more.

If the people of this country were to fight for re-legalization of the Hemp and Cannabis plant there would not be a need for MMJ...everyone would be covered. :nomo:
