Ohioboy With Fast Buds: Let's See How Fast Exactly

You could open the vents on the bottom and the air coming in from the ac should push the air out of those vents.. might not be enough air movement though. It wouldnt help with your heat either but that is really high rh. You might need a couple fans in the tent moving around air to help with the rh.

When i didnt have my exhaust for my tent i just put a fan on the floor outside of the tent pointed at a bottom vent and had a portal or two open at the top with fans in the tent circulating the air as well. Seemed to work well until they got smelly lol good luck figuring it out man!

We set our humidistat with a set point of 60% and a low point of 55%. Temp swings of 10-15 degrees from lights on to lights out is ok.

Thanks nis I'm gonna buy a dehumidifier and set it so I don't have to worry about it and I'm glad to hear my temp swings are ok it's a load off my mind for sure thanks

Exactly what I'm doing and my problem. Now it's ok but I gotta figure it out before they get into flower and smelling my house up.....again. And that's the reason I bought the tent in the first place. But I know once I get proper exhaust in there it'll help tremendously

10 degrees and over generates unwanted stretch. Not a tremendous amount, but just be aware that it's the small accumulative things working together that make your grow not as optimal, certainly not an issue at all though. Just thought it would be good to know that little fact.

That would explain my stretch on my auto seedlings like I've never seen before. Thanks for the info please keep it coming lol

Is it just me or does it seem like autos dont really have a stretch per say compared to photos. Meaning my auto seemed to grow constantly till they were harvested but with my photos once the stretch was over it seems like the no longer grow vertically just bulk.

Is it just me who thinks this?

Well the initial stretch from germination is way less than a photo but autos do have a two "stretch" periods there not as severe as photos but if the lights aren't at correct heights or with light manipulation and how you give them there nutes also all make a difference in the amount of stretch

Welcome also a really good auto grower (the best imho) is stinky snid. Check out his journal as well he's got a few running he's incredible with how he trains them. The thing with autos is there's no stopping them you can't do multiple toppings or fim cuts and things happen really fast. Around 30 days you'll start to see calyxes and pistils lol it's crazy.

Ahhhh but you can top them :) I shall refer you to "the beast" auto topping thread.

You just need to know which strains of autos "stunt out" which is the insta flowering you're talking about. Dutch passions genetics seem to stand this test over and over. Durban poison auto and ultimate auto are two that you can DEFINITELY top and with INCREDIBLE results. Srsly, swing past "The beast"'s auto topping led thread and also his Topped vs Untopped autos. Incredible stuff he does. (Sponsored grows, the whole shibang)

Thats the best of the two. SO much information from the pages of this journal. Bloody gold mine.

There is one thing I wonder about when it comes to autos. I see the strains I purchased all tick in at 15% THC. That's quite a bit lower than the photo variations of the same strains. How much do you notice this when smoking autos? Do they taste the same and do they kick the same?

I don't see that most of my autos are over 20% thc so I'm not sure what seed bank or genes your referring to. But no autos taste and smell the exact same as a photo. I'm in a 4x4 and run 12 at a time 6 one month and 6 45 days later so every 35-50 days I harvest 6 plants and get close to a lb there so much better imho than photos......UNLESS your running clones then it can change as it makes the harvest time months faster

I actually thought about doing multiple tops on my auto quarter pounder but then again the auto quarter pounder takes 90-100 days from seed so there is a little more time to play with
