Ok so seeds came yesterday so this am has been setting up my new grow paraphernalia lol

i have a 4th light it's just being used to veg until I need it for my tent

ya like my ac/cooling system for my tent lol ran it to the bottom and the exhaust fans at the top so hopefully I get some good air circulation. So here's the line up

3-jack herer autos
1-white widow auto
1-chocolate kush auto
3-damnesia autos
1-blueberry domina auto

At least that's what's in the water right now in the next couple days I'll have to see what pops and what doesn't. Hopefully they all pop that would be great!! I hope I get better results using the tent I know it'll be way easier to control the environment so that's good and with the new filter I hopefully won't have to worry about the smell again lol. It works great with lights on but lights out I gotta unhook it or else it gets to cold so in other words I'm still working out the kinks

Thanks bro. The cannabutter is the easiest to make that's why I always make it and it's a great party favor I always make rice krispy treats because the thc starts to degrade once you go over 212 degrees Fahrenheit ie baking brownies or what not the bake temp is usually 300-350 but with the rkt there's no baking all you gotta do is melt the butter and marshmallows. Ok so I journaled my last dry time because I'm having issues getting the hay smell and harshness outta my smoke and it's better but still not how it should be so I did a screen dry this time instead of hanging and trimmed before drying...

On a side note. Of the 9 seeds dropped two days ago 7 are up already soaking them overnight in water before putting them in the soil definitely sped things up I'm hoping the other two will pop if not I can't really complain. I wish I could figure out this damn filter issue now and I'd be good. Until next time #global420

Hey man nice harvest and some sweet looking butter. What is your recipe lol.

As for drying try out the paper bag method . It helped me out tremendously in getting it to dry slower and more evenly . And as soon they are ready for jars they smoke great no hay smell. Try it out and let me know what you think.

Make sure you let them dry enough that they feel dry and a stem snaps but doesn't come apart. Then jar up. Don't pack your jars,, incase you have to remove buds and let dry some more.. Check jars daily and if moist open the jar for acouple minutes to 'burp' the air. If you pack them, you'll damage the buds trying to get them out. Better to have two loose jars than one packed tigh anyways... GL and Keepem Green

BTW a paper bag does work great. I use them when I only have one plant. The reason your smoke has that hay smell and taste is probably from it drying to fast. It should take 5-6 days.. If you have airy buds which will dry to fast.. the bag helps slow it down.. If you have nice solid buds,, trim the leaf and hang on the stem. If you take all the buds off the stems,, they dry faster... To fast is no good..

I screen dry until they are kinda crunchy dry to the touch but are still squishy (if that makes sense) then I weigh out 40-50g per quart mason. I burp 3-5x daily and monitor my hygrometers in the jar. If RH is too high i will lay them out on the screen for a couple hours until they feel dry again the repeat until buds dont stick together in the jar. Then the boveda 62s go in until RH stabilizes. Smoke is fantastic and smell is delicious. Hope this helps..

Also I'm still undecided about these two photos I have I wish I had someone I could give them to so they could raise them. I may just end up putting them outside thing is I need the light that is keeping them growing for my auto tent I've still got a week or so before I make a final I did some defoling and training on the bud bud bling tingz check it out

now the cheese I've not done any lst on but I've done a few fims and tops here's the cheese

now in the auto tent I'm just gonna show ya some babies

I use lots of water and after I cook I let it cool the put it in the fridge overnight and in the am the butter is all hard at the top like a frisbee and the water is all at the bottom oil and water don't mix ya know

I mean I freeze it and take out and thaw as necessary and last year I had a batch I made at xmas and the following xmas I still had some and made treats with it and it was fine so it lasted a year in the freezer lol not sure how much longer I'd push it but your good for a year lmao good luck and ya know honestly I've never in 20+ years of making cannabutter heard of a waterless method I'm gonna have to google that

Same process only without the water . Guess it would take longer to strain out without the water. Gonna try and make some without the water. And maybe some cococanna oil. Have a jar of decarbed trim ready to go.

Mornin all looking good canna and nis must be nice to have all that space lol. So 7 outta 9 sprouted 3-jack herer auto 2-damnesia autos 1-chocolate kush 1- blueberry dominant. I decided to leave the two photos I have about a month old 1 bud bud bling tingz and a cheese in the new tent with the sprouts until I need the room then I'll put them outside I rambling but I have to buy another fan because it's not pulling enough air out and the heat is staying in the tent and also elevating my rh. My lights say 1.4 amps so if they turn on is it possible for them to be not as bright if there all on the same load or if there on there on? Sorry for kid napping your journal thanks for any help

If you exceed a breakers amperage rating then it will pop. It will not "dim" your lights as it will run all or nothing, unless you have a dimmer lol. Volts are power and amperage is current. Amps drive the volts.

As for the fan...is that a 4" or 6" fan? I would never recommend anything smaller than a 6" fan IMHO. You may be having an issue with exhausting because you are creating a positive pressure inside the tent with the AC being forced into there. So to exhaust properly you will have to have your tent closed up and have a fan that can overcome the AC. My opinion on running AC and exhaust at the same time is counter productive. You are removing moisture from the air to cool it and once it is cool you are sucking it out to start the process over. Just recently I turned off our exhaust fan (in veg) and turned on the AC. Temps and RH are much more manageable now than they were before. In flower when we want to have the odor go throighb the filter we will just recirculate the air in the room. Put the filter on the fan and just use them as a scrubber. Down side to running a sealed room is you HAVE to supplement co2 but the conditions are easily controlled.

I've been experimenting with all sorts of variations when I seal up the tent with the ac no exhaust my rh sky rockets as well as my temps but temps not as bad I added a little fan to circulate the ac air and seal up and it helps a little with the temps the only way so far I can get it to stabilize is with a box fan pulling(exhaust style) air outta the tent

look at those swings bro the ac is at 69 degrees also. I'm convinced it's the lack of exhaust. Isn't my co2 being pushed in through my ac duct? So if I go buy a dehumidifier what's optimal rh for a sealed room? And also if I keep it set up the way it is when lights go out my temps drop 11-12 degrees from 80-81 to 69-70 is that ok or do I need to change that let me add to change it would be a pain in the ass and it would mean unhooking the ac duct every night before bed and hooking it back up when I wake but if it's ESSENTIAL of course I'll do it or find a new way. I honestly feel if I had enough exhaust it would fix my rh and temps. Please and thank you for all your help bro for real thank you

Hi all so my girls are 4 days old still having issues with rh and temps in my sealed tent it's my first time ever dealing with a sealed environment and it's not as easy as it looks lol but I'm figuring it all out slowly but surely. 7 of the 9 seeds have germinated together and the 2 that didn't pop have been re seeded with the same strain that didn't germinate.

those two are damnesia note the one still with her helmet on she's been that way for 3 days now I've tried helping but I don't wanna hurt her so I've been misting the helmet a few times a day hoping that'll help I've never had a seed hold on like that before

I don't have the ability to to finish off the photos (I don't have a light to spare to separate them and flower them. I've got the space just not the lights so I'm gonna veg them in the auto tent until they start to take up to much space then I guess I'll just put em outside I'm not sure yet and still have at least a month before it becomes crucial.
