Hey O.
I think Autos 'look' for the bottom of the pots with the tap root before the start growing up from the surface. I have no real proof or info but I seem to remember that. But I think a tap root can reach the bottom of the 5 g pot in 2 weeks easy so I dunno 'bout that.

Almost 2 weeks and still kind of small.

When my LED started to fail the blue veg lights, my autos got stunted, I dont know if one thing had to do with the other, but they had excess of red light. That and I think one got over-watered and one got under-watered.

I hope something changes this week for them.:goodluck:

So yesterday Deb looked like this

Ganny is pulled completely died
Shelly is holding her own trying at least

I'm convinced an outdoor grow in these tropics is virtually impossible if I reverse the grow season and start in oct or nov with a photo by the time she's good into flower the seasons back to spring summer and the natural lengthening of the sun per day throws it back into veg and ya gotta wait for the natural coarse to run so it throws back into veg and reveges until natural photos begin to flower so you end up with this huge plant that has been growing for almost a year and the summer bugs and fungus end up killing it. UGH

Hey Ohioboy. Rotten luck with that root fungus but hey, I'm really glad someone reached out to you and helped put an end to a 3 year long issue. Must be pretty relieving. At least now that you know what it is you can battle/prevent it. Sorry to hear about Ganny though. I'm here rooting for Shelly and the new sprouts! That's so lucky you got sent freebies. Organic pesticide is always handy. Do you plan to put Star and Crystal outside eventually? If so, do you think that root fungus will be an issue? Keep up the great work bud!

I don't have much but try some of this Rockstar Kush. Careful though, it'll knock you on your ass. :passitleft:

Crystal day 13 temp running high @ 84 (is this a BIG issue?) rh @ 54 with a range to 69

She looks good to me Ohioboy. Once they start to take off they tend to explode with growth. You'll be shocked at the difference in the next couple weeks. It takes them a few days to get their feet under them. This is your first time through with an auto, so your concerns are based on the patterns of photos. Keep breathing. She's gonna do well for you. :battingeyelashes:

Howdy all so I just got to full strength on my nutes
General hydroponics GH from here on out lol ok
2tsp micro (10ml) 5-0-1

3tsp grow (15ml) 2-1-6
1/4ml rr 1-.05-1
Liquid Karma 2tsp (10ml).01-.01-.05
All in one (1) gallon of water ph @5.5-5.8

Now I made one gallon as I said but I gave only half to each plant and I'm not sure about that? I got some runoff with just that half gallon in each bucket but are they getting enough of the nutes? If anyone reads this I sure could use some experienced wisdom here. I've noticed Crystal is really starting to take off from day to day but I still feel I'm not doing something correct for these autos and maybe the way I'm feeding the amounts aren't correct as I split the gallon between the two. Thanks for any help. Stay green my fellow gardners

ohiobooy,
I noticed our GH nutes are the same but we use different ratios so I am watching your grow closely. I have recently had to switch up and add more micro for Northern Lights. Hungry plant but the rest remain the same. 8mil Micro 16mil Grow then bloom and so forth.
I am running experimental ratios on some of the bag seeds I have for tastys.
Anyhow looking good man.

Yes but don't forget I'm running autos so my nutes will be a little weaker than a photo they (autos) generally can't handle the amount of nutes as a photo idk why but. And thanks for stoping by pull up a chair be well brother

Maybe it's because I'm looking at journals of masters and comparing my novice (at best) grow to there's and part could be over expectations on my part as this is my first auto grow so I don't have any personal experience to compare with and the almost 30 days of waiting on my stock to get here and researching my strains and seeing what other people are getting from the same strain uhh it's frustrating but compared to a photo these autos are definitely different lol. I'm gonna stay patient and as positive as possible also I'm gonna take it easy on the training for the first run just to get the lay of the land so to speak and also all my research says that if there slow to start like mine then it's best to just use lst heavy on the (L) and no topping but please all I'm up for info and ho's have a good day all stay green

They'll kick into gear don't worry. I'd be careful with them full strength nute's this early in. Easy to burn them. Just my 2 cents. When I used the flora series I'd be using like 1/2 strength, at this point in time. Most soils have a charge of fert's in them, earth worm castings etc. which usually is enough to carry them awhile. When you get up to full nute's, use them sparingly, unless you see signs of hunger like light green leaves. Like every third watering. salt based fert's will build up in soil. As soon as she gets another leaf, she'll start going fast. Takes green to produce growth. GL Just doing a drive by. Keepem Green

Hi all just been prepping for this hurricane Mathew that's about to hit us my business as a handyman has been tripled these last two days had to hire extra help to meet demand so that's why I'm late today ok here we go

420-magazine-mobile2138512296.jpg
so no nute burn at full strength the breeder said that they were glutonous in the nute dept so I'm wondering if having temps in the high 70's low 80's is to hot and stunting them? Gotta run hope alls well with all .️
