Ohioboy With Fast Buds: Let's See How Fast Exactly

Crystal day 7 temp 80-81. Rh 51-58% today will be her first feeding I'm using General Hydroponics Flora line the 3 part system as well as general hydroponics rapid root enhancer I'm going to start at 1/4 strength today

and this is Star at day 2 still with her helmet I've started a batch of tea for her first nute as I did with Crystal (castings molasses rapid root) it'll be ready in 24 hrs I'll give it to her this time tomorrow I'm hoping that if she has a hard time shedding her helmet the tea punch will strengthen her and help bust off the helmet

the brown color on the stem just under the helmet has me spooked a little positive thoughts positive energies she's gonna be just fine. May the wind that flies my prayer flags reach you all my fellow green thumb gardeners

What's good man. Just recently I started using 604a to start my seedlings at 10 days. 1/4 dose.
Definitely a good choice for me.

Sorry missed day 8 for Crystal so today is day 9 temps @ 81 rh is @50 but between 50-60 I've started her on the gh line at 1/4 teaspoon each (micro grow flower) with 6 drops of root enhancer in water with a ph right around 6. I gave her 50ml out of the gallon I mixed up so day 9 today this is Crystal

420-magazine-mobile245087411.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1417349819.jpg
yesterday I realized that her roots are ALREADY poking thru the bottom that's what I'm talking about nice and white too lol I was always told to use a less "hot" soil when germinating so it's now time to put her in her lifetime container with the Ocean Forest and perilite and castings boy when those roots hit that there gonna stretchidy stretch lmao I'm seeing some color change from the spears to the first set (I can't remember the name right now still on cup of coffee number 1) so here is Star day 3 same environment still only on water
420-magazine-mobile1631424774.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1919879671.jpg
also I'm making a change in my closet the dimensions are 24"x 15" x 44" last run I did two plants (photos) with my one marshydro 300 well I bought another same light it'll be here tomorrow so I'll be able to do different things like height variables on each plant or whatever I want but I wanted more light for the autos also I bought a humidifier a little one because I want my rh in the 60's consistently I get drops into the 30's sometimes only for short couple hours but still. Also I've decided to not do anything with the air pumps in my grow like a Swick system kinda I made I posted pics a week or so back in this journal but as this is my first ever auto run I'm gonna go with what I KNOW works well....a bucket with lots a holes lol have a blessed day I hope the winds that flow o we my prayer flags reach you all

Ok here we go outside here's Deb I sprayed her last night with SnS #217 (pest control) really as a preventative measure but for a few nights something I'm assuming snails ate her leaves up so I put diatamacious earth around her and no problems since and she's getting new bottom growth that had been eaten
420-magazine-mobile656702929.jpg
420-magazine-mobile363491150.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1281276330.jpg
and I wanna point out that I grew her from start in this "grow box" now for those of you who don't know what that is let me show you
420-magazine-mobile1023394843.jpg
that hole is overflow then you put the shelf in
420-magazine-mobile304880554.jpg
and finally the feeder tube
420-magazine-mobile625016764.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1059306886.jpg
ok so you put it all together then you fill it with your medium I use soil with heavy perilite making sure to pack the two corners with soil we'll see how under the shelf in those two corners there's a type of fence holding the soil in place
420-magazine-mobile1318200659.jpg
then you fill the reservoir with water or nutes depending on the cycle or needs of the plant it holds 3 gallons of liquid and that's it the roots end up eventually in the reservoir now what I made is basically the same tho g but I added air pumps to the reservoir obviously to add oxygen to the roots the "Earth box" that I just showed is like $70 I made one for like $7 lol there are pics of mine a page or two back in my journal if your interested so now Ganny I think I got the SnS #244 a week too late
420-magazine-mobile1666800796.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1158607970.jpg
those two branches are dead and I should prolly cut them off I started with the regiment of the SnS as soon as I got it its for funguses but guess I was too late but I'm not giving up yet
420-magazine-mobile2068061802.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1599554405.jpg
now Shelly my "pf" ( pretenda flux) is doing much better since I got the SnS and the mites under control still not 100% but getting there also I had to lay some trelise down on the sweet potatoes so she could get some sun lol
420-magazine-mobile634950733.jpg
so as I was saying as the mites get under control I'm not finding dead yellowed leaves in the am continuously anymore so hopefully I'll start seeing new growth
420-magazine-mobile439743019.jpg
420-magazine-mobile85490196.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1964765999.jpg
i did loose one branch but all the rest seem to have been saved in time
420-magazine-mobile1687009432.jpg
May your day be blessed my fellow green thumbs

Sounds like those SnS pesticides and fungal sprays came to you so you can wage war. Keep up the good fight, but I think ganny is done for. Salvage what you can, it's not going to get better imo. But you are looking good brother, I'm rooting for ya.

KiG :green_heart:cheers

I've been looking at your girls and I think I might know your problem is. I think it's called Fusarium Wilt. It's a soil born fungus. I tell alot of people about this product and it's supposed to work on Fusarium. It's a biological weapon being cultures of bacteria called actinvovate I think. If I was you I'd do acouple denches with it before spring if your going back in the ground with your next grow. You can google Fusarium In Marijuana, and has alot of pic's. Hard to tell if it is it from here, but you should be able to see and tell. I hear it could be a reason for seeds to 'damp off' or just fall over and die. Is another possibility called Verticillium wilt. This stuff targets your veggie garden, especially the squash type plants. The bacteria winters over in some beetles digestive tracks before releasing them into the soil. Now this is just my 2 cents could be afew things, but from what I saw........ GL and Keepem Green

I just read for a hour and looked at tons of pics and yes that's exactly what I have here AND ITS WHATS BEEEN KILLING PARTS OF MY PLANTS FOR THE PAST 3 years!! branch by branch they just die off for no apparent reason leaving the main part of the plant ok until eventually it's consumed. You've solved a mystery that's plagued me and others around me for years thank you so much brother

Which one do u have? Can u document what u do to prevent it next year. Then remember to tell us next year if it worked?
Is there a specific time of year that u see this happening in ur region.

So much to learn....so many journals to follow

Ok the girls are in there home for life good ole five gallon buckets only thing I amended to the FF was worm castings at 1-4 and my new light got here today so I'm set up and ready I think oh look what else I got
420-magazine-mobile567653454.jpg
ive been hearing a lot about this product and did some due diligence and figured it was worth the $33.95 for my girls. At the hydro shop they have these two bottles gallon size of this stuff called Gravity says its from California but apparently you can't buy it anymore but anyways it's $595.95 for a gallon of the shit can you imagine lol
420-magazine-mobile2099588693.jpg
i like the two lights lol I always thought two would be better than one I'm gonna experiment with different heights and see which works best

Crystal day 11 temp @84 (for 4 hrs each night when my lights go out my temp drops to 73 what the AC in the house is on I'm not sure if I like that)

420-magazine-mobile795938558.jpg
my temps stay at 80 for 19 hrs 73 for 3 the other hour is cooling down lights off and heating up lights on adding my new light hasn't made much of a temp change maybe a few degrees but I'm fixing that I have an introduction fan but not an exhaust fan so gonna get the other fan I put them in there home FF ocean Forrest /worm castings and just used white 5 gallon buckets but last run I only had one light for two plants in the same closet well now I got two lights for the two plants so much more penetration of the canopy I hope
420-magazine-mobile455205615.jpg

420-magazine-mobile40557956.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1550881990.jpg
wtf? I sprayed her LIGHTLY last night after sundown per instructions on the SnS fungicide as a preventative measure of botrytis to come in this humidity damn
Ganny is pulled completely died
Shelly is holding her own trying at least
420-magazine-mobile1517922921.jpg
you have to skip nights with the SnS mite spray so tonight another spraying
420-magazine-mobile843743803.jpg
but look I think it's got fusarium as well
420-magazine-mobile1119361854.jpg

I'm convinced an outdoor grow in these tropics is virtually impossible if I reverse the grow season and start in oct or nov with a photo by the time she's good into flower the seasons back to spring summer and the natural lengthening of the sun per day throws it back into veg and ya gotta wait for the natural coarse to run so it throws back into veg and reveges until natural photos begin to flower so you end up with this huge plant that has been growing for almost a year and the summer bugs and fungus end up killing it. UGH
