Ok here we go outside here's Deb I sprayed her last night with SnS #217 (pest control) really as a preventative measure but for a few nights something I'm assuming snails ate her leaves up so I put diatamacious earth around her and no problems since and she's getting new bottom growth that had been eaten
and I wanna point out that I grew her from start in this "grow box" now for those of you who don't know what that is let me show you
that hole is overflow then you put the shelf in
and finally the feeder tube
ok so you put it all together then you fill it with your medium I use soil with heavy perilite making sure to pack the two corners with soil we'll see how under the shelf in those two corners there's a type of fence holding the soil in place
then you fill the reservoir with water or nutes depending on the cycle or needs of the plant it holds 3 gallons of liquid and that's it the roots end up eventually in the reservoir now what I made is basically the same tho g but I added air pumps to the reservoir obviously to add oxygen to the roots the "Earth box" that I just showed is like $70 I made one for like $7 lol there are pics of mine a page or two back in my journal if your interested so now Ganny I think I got the SnS #244 a week too late
those two branches are dead and I should prolly cut them off I started with the regiment of the SnS as soon as I got it its for funguses but guess I was too late but I'm not giving up yet
now Shelly my "pf" ( pretenda flux) is doing much better since I got the SnS and the mites under control still not 100% but getting there also I had to lay some trelise down on the sweet potatoes so she could get some sun lol
so as I was saying as the mites get under control I'm not finding dead yellowed leaves in the am continuously anymore so hopefully I'll start seeing new growth
i did loose one branch but all the rest seem to have been saved in time
May your day be blessed my fellow green thumbs
