OG's Nine Strains Under LEDs In Hydro

Since there always seems to be lots of interest in re-veg.
Here is the revegged jacks smack in pot of hardware store dirt:

Here are two current revegs. Both were done as the original seed plants were so small due to arriving late
From Shipment that a clone off them would have cut yield.

It is very simple to do, just leave some bottom bud sites alive and switch to 18/6. Growth looks bizarre at first but settles by second mode after reveg.
The purps:

Strawberry blue:

You monster cropped the strawberry blue. We have a CKS Purple Kush we cloned from flower. She's a slow grower. Not taking off like the other clones did. We have been feeding her. Not sure why she's so slow.

Here is a more informative angle on the bloom cabinet to show how the shelving works. Though two plants are sharing in two locations so the short one is lifted to level it out and each plant is made as
Flat as possible since veg.

For the question of buds growing while heavily shaded by dense fan leaf cover let me present critical kush. She produces large buds with no defol necessary

In my experience defoliation is counter productive generally. Perhaps it is better for some strains but I have never seen a test with clones (seeds don't count due to different phenos) on same light l, same feeding (need shared hydro reservoir for that) etc. It's always different lights or different buckets of dirt with different conditions or they start from seed. I would love to see someone do a legit test someday. I only did it once myself - not enough for proof. But I do remember how defol slowed the growth of my
Plants every time I did it back when I did it every grow years ago.
Anyway I am not doing defol, any leaves the plant doesn't need it will leach the water and nutrients from them causing them to turn brown and then they fall off by themselves.

I was thinking the same but was advised to defol so I did.
Do you think it would be more detrimental to defol auto flowering plants? Or would it be the same either way?

I would guess it would hurt yield slightly more for autos but it's only a guess I don't know.
That's cool, I thought the same due to not having as much time to recover.
I will be growing 3 autos next round but after that I may try a side by side test

Today I just crush kinked the stems that were tallest down to the level of the others. Could have fimed a few but want them to spread out a little. I am looking for about a dozen tops for the space I have and I allready have 8.

Looking good. As always, your Haze is being difficult about holding it's green color. Nice looking garden. Lots of good meds coming your way.

Cheers

Yeah the haze is turning yellow on the fans early.

They are taking nutrients as fast as they can. Plants were holding at 400ppm during veg then 500 at start of bloom and now 550. Not like they are lacking nutrients, the fan leaf tips are slightly brown so I know they are getting plenty of nutrients...

It's nice to be down to the last six weeks of the bloom. Nice and easy now. Slowly increasing the nutrient levels slightly as it takes to keep them steady from one day to the next. Add that little bloom nutrients and calmag and ph down and two freedom gallons of tap water a day.Once a week reservoir changes Make sure all the stuff is operational, that's it for now on the bloom cabinet.
